I just downloaded the new FS France Concorde and started playing around with it last night. This is a great plane and surprisingly easy to fly, but I am having a problem getting set up for my approaches; in particular, I've found it impossible to get slowed down to landing speed. I was actually surprised at how easy it was to descend quickly while still reducing speed from M2 down to 180-200 KIAS or so, but once I get established on the localizer and descend on the glideslope, I start speeding up again, even at idle throttle, and am at 230+ by the time I get to the runway. Anyone have a resource where FedEx AI flt plns are available for memphis hub night ops? Have looked everywhere I know with no luck. Also. using special AFCAD file at DFW for Terri scenery. Works well except after arrival only ground option for parking is GA, no gate parking option. Any idea what I did to cause this? THX.Regards,

Hi; after doing a search of variuos sites, I was unable to specifically find any mesh scenery of Vancouver Island B.C., and was wondering if it is included in a larger mesh package or if anyone has come across any B.C. mesh that includes Vancouver Island? Cheers!

Hi all,Does anyone know if it's possible to create separate key/button configuration files for my aircraft?For example if I fly the Falcon 50 and press SHIFT+2 it bring up the radio panel, and on the PSS airbus the same combo brings up the IFR panel. Now, if I use FSUIPC to assign a joystick button to bring up the radio panel in the Falcon by sending SHIFT+2 keystroke, I cannot assign anything to that button when I'm using the Airbus, because then I'd had to reconfigure everytime I change aircrafts.I know that the A320PIC has a separate config file and it does not use any of the default controls. Can this be done on any other aircraft?

I can't say that I wasn't warned about Ariane and it's lack of service (I can't even see an e-mail address for support questions on their site). Downloaded their BBJ tonight, but the .exe has a CRC error (same after 3 tries).Looking a little further down the order page, there's mention of having to upgrade drivers for GE cards in order for the download and installation to work. I've never heard of this before- how can a video card driver affect a downloaded .exe file, I wonder. Why not a stripped-down freeware version and a payware "FSUIPC Pro?"I never thought I'd get involved in this subject, but as I read Lefteris's thread (Another method of supporting FSUIPC and Pete Dowson), I had a thought. It has always been my opinion that if FSUIPC is to be payware, then it must be the end-user who pays. Lefteris makes the point that if each developer adds a fee for FSUIPC support, then users will feel like they are paying twice (or more) for the same thing.The only way to insure that the user pays once is to charge the user. Ready For Pushback's 747-200 has a recieved a major update that puts it on the level of Wilco's PIC 767, Captain Sim's 727, and even Dreamfleet. I was wondering if any repainters out there are looking into painting new liverys for this awesome 747. I for one would like to see one in the new UPS livery, someone has also mentioned that Northwest Airline's new livery would be another hopeful for a repaint.So I hope some artist will take a serious look at this great package and release some new liveries for it. When my motherboard died, my computer guy replaced it. He also had to replace my video card with an ATI Rage 32 meg card. Now when I run FS, and hit a key on my CH yoke it will reboot the computer. Also, at times it locks up. If I go to the outside view and hit the hat switch it will lock up or reboot. I need some help! Please help.I have MS Flight Simulator 98.I downloaded some aircraft and added them using the unzip utility from the AVSIM site (one of the 10 must have downloads).The aircraft are not showing up in FS98's list of choices.I'm new at this. Probably something simple. I did check, and there were sounds, panels, gauges installed in FS998 folders for the aircraft I downloaded.Advice is appreciated.

I assume from the directions in AFCAD 1.4 you can set a specific gate to accept aircraft from a given airline. I setup a gate as follows:ParkingSpec.11=39.00,Gate Medium,Southwest. I setup 5 gates to accept aircraft using the specfication above. My goal was to have all of the aircraft from Southwest to park at these gates. However, AI Traffic still puts the airplanes all over the airport. Should I change something in the individual aircraft.cfg file(s)? Appreciate your help.

I need help (in more ways than one). When I download and install aircraft, they don't show up in the aircraft menu. Any suggestions? (FS98)

Hi Frank (assuming you get this), I recently downloaded one of your Canadian Short Legs packs - the one with CYSE, Tipella, and Pemberton. I love them! These add a lot to my flying experience around Rockies. Thanks for them.I was wondering if you are aware of a scenery for CYAZ (Tofino) and/or CYGB (Gillies Bay) that anyone has created. Or, if you plan to do it/them. I amuse myself by pretending that I operate a small airline based out of Victoria and service a lot a small towns/resorts etc. I use Milton Schupe's Commander 520. After I posted my response in another thread, I got to thinking about the FSUIPC situation...I can conclude everyone agrees that FSUIPC is an excellent and very necessary product and is considered a core component of the FSxx environment. So...I think we are looking at this issue bass-ackwards.. Instead of a third party payware add-on, I feel we need to start a campaign to Microsoft to OEM it, pay Pete a one time royalty, which would include him supporting it for a year or until the next version of FS is released.This would make everybody happy. Referring to the new Marco Spada MD80 panel and also having similar issue with the Project Fokker F100 panel, I can't seem to make the "terrain! pull up!" sounds go away. The problem with the F100/70 panel is that even though I have deleted the Boeing callout gauges, they are still there as I'm on final approach. I can't for the life of me figure these issues out. Is it a .wav file or can you have a .gau file with sounds embedded? Any advice? Thanks in advance for the help.John W.

Whilst the intro talks by John and Martha King are crystal clear, I have great difficulty in making out Rod Machado's flight instructions. I have turned the engine and cockpit sound levels right down and set the Sound Quality at "High" which has led to some improvement - but not much.Is there anything else I can do to improve the sound quality? Does anybody else have the same problem?Any help would be much appreciated.

In the Avsim library i found Lennart Arvidsson's texture package #1, but is there a #2 as well? I couldnt find it? Has it ever been released, or will it be released in the future? Or are these the desert, UK and southern Europe textures that are mentioned in the readme included in the package? If so, where can I find these?Thanks!
