Hi,Can anyone help me enable the decimal frequencies for the ADF in FS2002. If what I want is 369.5, I can't seem to get the .5 bit at all. Can't find the reference in the MS help.Anybody solved this ?Degsy

I am considering updating my vid card to a Geforce4 TI4200 model. I note that the next version of FS2004 will come with Directx version 9 . I went to the vid card manufacturers website which proudly proclaimed that it is compatable with Directx version 8.1.So the question is this - what does this all mean in practice.? How does the Directx version interrelate with the actual hardware and the driver software. Should I wait until after FS2004 comes out?Any help from somebody who actually understands vid cards!! :) much appreciated.Barry

Hey all--I have aquired enough money right now to either buy the CS 727 or the RFP 742. I am wondering which would be worth my time. Been wanting to get into a plane that will make me fly it a little more than my baby 767 PIC :DI am an avid systems simulator. I like planes that have all the bells and whistles. The 767 PIC comes to mind as the *only* plane I have in my limited payware fleet...the 767 PIC, 744 PSS, A320 PSS, and Dash8 PSS.I have heard great things about the CS 727, and the visuals are *amazing*!! Hi all,Now that repaints are starting to be released here at AVSIM (USAF and USN C-118/R6D's), I guess I should get around to announcing that the new GMAX DC-6 and DC-6B by Greg Pepper and I have been released at my Cal Classic site. These feature the typical GMAX things like rolling wheels, reflections, night lighting, feathering props, wheelwells, etc., and also feature wonderful bare metal texturing by Greg Pepper. Hello Gang,I've just purchased a brand new Gainward Geforce 4 64 mb Ti4200 card. I cannot get anti-aliasing to work in any D3D application, including and especially FS2002, no matter what I try. I've been through 4 drivers sets from the 30.82s to the 43.45s and have tried using Rivatuner instead of the Nvidia control panel as well. Nothing is working and now I'm wondering if I maybe have a defective card or something?I've tried using FS2002's own anti-aliasing switch and also forcing AA in all D3D applications. No AA will work at all from 2x to Quincunx to 4x. I'm getting the jaggies from heck running at fairly high res, 2x antisotrophy, ect. I am running FS…

HiI just want to know if there is a scenery for FS2002 available for Calgary airport (CYYC, Alberta, Canada)? If not, could someone make a realistic scenery for this airport? That would really make my day! I flew out of there last year and it was a great experience, especially with the Rockies in the background. Loads of WestJet - Calgary is WestJet's HQ I think - and of course Air Canada, as well as Northwest to KMSP, Alaska Airlines and United.Thanks!Chris

Downloaded twa 727 pkg with lonny payne's panel. Added sounds by Daniel R. Careried. Now have this rattling sound on takeoff roll that sounds like aircraft is breaking up! Have tried eliminating every wav file in both a/c and main sound folders that I thought might be culprit with no luck. If anyone knows how to get rid of this overdone rattle pls advise and thx for your help.Regards,

Have just downloaded and installed these textures. It's a great piece of work, however there is a problem. None of the textures for the landing gear, aircraft interior or engine fans have been included. There was no read-me to give guidance and as a result no contact information and I have no idea which textures would be required from another aircraft. (The BA paint I already have has 69 texture files compared to 29 in this upload)Please can you provide an update or information on which textures should be copied over.Many thanks and hope to see more of your work!

Lat year around the time of the OSHKOSH fly-in , Microsoft put out a series of adventures (mostly VFR) and some scenery for people to fly into the virtual OSHKOSH show using a section of the appropriate real life sectional chart and the NOTAM issued for the show. I have only now gotten around to flying these adventures.I don't know this area at all -- so to fly the first adventure, I had to study the sectional chart closely and fly to Oshkosh using the real life procedures. On my way there, I closely studied the chart and compared it to what I was seeing outside. Amazing accuracy!! hellojust wondering that does a full motion flight simulator also suffer stuttering from time to time? Like in the "complex" scenery or during approach into a dense airport. Oh another question, does the simulation software support worldwide scenery and database like FS does?

When I hit Y to go into slew mode, my plane increases its altitude very, very fast. I have to press F2 quickly to stop it and F1 to come down again. Is there a way to avoid this altitude increase, e.g. by making an entry or change in the config-file? Grateful for help.Roland

Hello, I've download the edit voicepack2.2 and when I doubble click on its' exe there's an error says edit voice pack fail to initiate click ok to terminate program. Does anyone encountered this and know how to deal with it? oh, btw I'm using Win XP which is clamed to work fine with the edit voicepack.

Do you manually add passenger weight(200 lbs/pax)into the station.load line of the aircraft.cfg when an aircraft already comes with "realistic flight dynamics " (i.e. "This Boeing 7x7 file was tested by real world Captain Mr XY" ???) Or is this additional weight then too much ?? When I compared several high quality aircraft.cfgs I found that nearly all designers forgot to load their planes....Generally, what I do now is to add 80% of total pax number and take 200 lbs per passenger including baggage. This value goes into the station.load line and I feel that most aircraft behave more "airliner-like" than before. What dou you think about that ??comments welcome!examp…

A couple of months ago I upgraded my computer and went from WINME to WIN XP PRO. However a couple of things that worked OK in WINME now cause FS2K2 to crash.1 When I try to run FS2K2 in full screen mode I get an FSSound.dll error message and FS2k2 closes. As far as I am aware I have the latest version of this file and have the correct entry in the cfg file under Old Modules.2 Some aircraft will not load as I get a message saying that there is a problem with the .mdl file when I try to select the aircraft in FS2k2. One example is the IFDG 757 (non GMAX version)Anyone any ideas?Thank

Hi all :-)I use WinXP Home now and have the Creative 41.80 drivers loadedbut would like to use Nvidia drivers/NvMax instead.What is the correct way to do this with WinXP, I tried un-install41.80 and loaded NVidia drivers and had a blank screen and lock upwhen going to full screen mode, I could not cure this so returnedto the 41.80, video performence seems to have probs ie default C182 vc with AA on just kills the fps and my sound goes all stuttery when bringing up the radio/gps panel in vc. With WinMe and the same drivers aa and vc mode had no effect at all on my fps ( locked @ 20 )when bringing up radio/gps panel.any advice would be most welcome :DSteve
