I have recently upgraded my computer with a 2ghz processor with 512MB of ddr,I am using an old ati rage 128 with 64MB RAM in my agp bus. I have purchased a ati pci radeon 7000 with 64MB of ddr ram.the problem is when I installed the drivers and then the board into the pci bus,configured my monitors for multiple monitor use, ran my simulator, tried to undock the left side view window and move it over to the monitor where the pci card was, the graphics were very very slow and the system wouldn't run right. what is the secret to using multiple windows and monitors? Allentown, Pa. KABE...Lehigh Vally International. Since I live here, I would like to use it as my Default airport. However, it's pretty sparse and totally uninteresting in MSFS. If someone who reads this, and lives nearby, and is talented in Scenery Design, please consider this project. KABE is a great location for a quick hop to KEWR, KJFK, KLGA, and many other great Eastern locations. Can't activate the view. I've tried many key/joystick assignments. The bitmap is in the panel folder, but I can not get it to display. Can anyone help?Thanks, Adam

I really like the Oleksiy Frolov Dash 8 (I use version4), particularly the sounds and panel. This model gets away from the accelerating engines with other turboprop sounds and panels, and the sounds are very realistic. But there are not many liveries for the Frolov model. We have windsocks that are aligned in a certain direction based on the wind direction fed into the weather engine by FSmeteo, ActiveSky, default etc. It seems as if it would be simple to write a small code so that other objects, which are all the same, such as trees, would reflect this weather too. I.e. instead of having "x" amount of tree textures, you have x times four, one for each wind direction roughly, North, South, East, and West. That way as you are flying along the terrain, you will see the trees bent a certain way slightly and can judge wind direction like in real life. I have been wondering, what is the most popular unzip utility for unzipping the files? I personally use ZipCentral. It is free, wonderful, and full featured. Not as refined as WinZip(don't get me started on this......... :-8 :-lol) or WinRAR, but being as it is free it is the best deal out there IMHO :D:-beerchug

Hi,I just flew from KBWI to KACK. I was given the visual approach to runway 6. The visibility was about 2 miles. I would think that's not a correct thing for the ATC to do to you, since when it asked me to report the runway in sight I was in clouds! It's not the first time it's happened to me. Is this a bug? Hello all!A couple people including myself have recently suggested that MS make spaceflight possible on future flight simulator versions. I couldnt agree more. Here is an excerpt taken from one of my other posts on this board that describes my feelings about MS including space as part of, say, FS2006 or FS2008? I found that if you use the Taxi Speed applet to set your A.I. taxi speed at between 20-22, then you pretty much have the landing traffic clear the runway after being given the instructions to take the next high-speed taxi-way.It works now quite well.I had it set to as high as 25 knots but the taxi speed seemed unrealistic at that rate. Yes, yes...you should not go over 17 knots in a real life taxi..but....you want go-rounds, or not, LOL!Cheers!Mitch R.

I heard the sad news on ABC radio today, that British Airways plans on ending Concorde service within weeks. I haven't seen any other verification of this, but if it is true, it is a sign of the ending of a wonderful contribution to aviation. I am glad that it was recognized in 2k2, and at least can live on in our sim....BTW, anyone have a link to the recently released Concorde package?

It seems I remember this being true for CFS3, but after raising the res from 1024 to 1280 I seem to be getting better fps in FS2002. Anyone else notice this? I just installed an ATI 9500 Pro, so that could be a factor.Thanks,Todd

I have tried two installations of this new concorde for fs2k2...both have locked up my system tight...forcing reboots each time. I get as far as the opening screen in the aircraft selection list, but when I click on the icon to load the aircraft, the deep freeze begins. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, have you found a work around. I emailed the author, but so far, no response...Sherm

Can you arm the spoilers on Yannick Lavigne's falcon 50 so they deploy when the plane touches down on the runway? If so then how do you arm them? I've had this plane for a while now and still don't know how to arm the spoilers, so I just hit the / key when I touch down.

I am using the newest version of Weather-Maker and FSUIPC and would like to know this; How do I make the cloud layers appear above 2000 feet. At this time, the set up I have the clouds consistantly start scattered to broken below 2000 feet. I understand that the closer the temperature and dew point are, the more clouds you will get. Granted if they are the same at sea level, you will get fog. Sometimes it seems that when the temp and dp are far apart, the clouds will consistantly start to form at around 2000'. hello, I've downloaded this good looking freeware flightplaner and am wondering it could be used ok with FS2002? The map view seems to show ok but there is no airport infomation, ILS freq and runway heading display. That's kind of bother me that it would work on FS2002 or not. I just need a flightplaner program that can display map view.

Is there a way to add runway/taxiway lighting to an airport where none exists? I ask because a new airport that I like to fly to/from does not have any lighting. I think the airport may not be in use these days.Help please, Adam
