Greetings, I recently purchased FS2000 from the "bargain bin" at my local software store (FS2000 std version), after installing I downloaded the appropriate patch from microsoft. After installing the patch I keep getting an error in module Dplayerx.dll and the sim won't start. I have tried several times with both the std and pro patches with the same result. Can anybody help please? Thanks. RPM.

Hi Guys, I have never bought anything payware for FS2002 or any other flight sim. I am really considering Lago's new F16. I went to their site, but am a little unsure how to go about getting this plane. Could anyone please help me out.Thanks, Ron

Is anyone aware of a special SDK that deals with programming addon modules for FS2K2? I've browsed thru the regular SDK but didn't find anything relevant.I created a simple dll that just monitors the keyboard and put it in the FS2K2 modules folder. Fs2k2 loaded it and promptly crashed so there's obviously something I'm missing.If anyone knows of any refrenece material, I'd appreciate hearing about it.Thanx,vgb

Guilty as charged! Spent all this time trying to decide what new planes to fly and buy and all the while...right there in front of my hanger sits the Falcon 50 patiently waiting to spool up!Forget just how excellent of a rendition this was! And forgot how to operate her. While the checklists are excellent need to know the following-- Reverse Thrust key commands?- How do we operate the individual throttle levers and then re-engage all 3.?- Does this plane have spoilers...I notice some air brake wording...same thing? How do we deploy and retract?Thanks all and the 50 feels like an old friend...don't know why I was looking anywhere else!

Hi all,I have a really weird pitch problem, All my Jet Planes seem to fly with the nose pitched up. It seems to happen once i get to CRZ Level.The Auto Pilot is on and set to hold alt, the fule is just right, and i have even tryed it with very little fuel so i cant see it being caused by weight. Does anybody know how to sort this out, or what i shopuld be doing. the nose is always pitched up at just under 10deg. maybe its normal, i dont know but it dosent look right. is there away to reset the pitch.

I have been trying to find the FFX B727 in the library with no luck. All I can find are repaints which says to get the model from Avsim. Any ideas where I can find the original? I have purchased the Captain Sim B727 but have not got to use it yet. Too much DOCs to go through. Thanks.Pat Callaghan

Anyone! I seem to have lost my scroll screen in multiplayer. I have the chat box but the words nolonger scroll across the screen. Even when i use squawkbox i can nolonger type to anyone from the ms chat box, only the sb chatbox. Does anyone have a solution for this.ThanksKhalil

Maybe a stupid question for those who know -- but could somebody kindly give me a reasonably detailed description of what these are and how to perform them? Are they something that is done intentionally or unintentionally.? I am a little confused - as , not being a real life pilot, now that Rob Young has issued a new FDE for the C172 that allows these in FS2002 , I would have thought that a C172 was not supposed to spin in real life.Any advice much appreciated.Thanks Barry

Oh Rob!! :) For the past 18 months , I have been flying FS2002 with the aircraft realism setting set to EASY and the AutoRudder set to CO-ORDINATED. I have been able to advance my cyber-pilot career to the point where I have advanced through my Instrument Rating, completed my CPL , flown twins in all kinds of weather conditions, flown Regional Jets and finally commercial jets along standard Airline corridors -- and I was just about to advance to the coveted position of B747 Captain when I downloaded your new Cessna 172 airfile. Just curious. How many people in this forum actually complete an flight, start to finish, in a single setting? I almost never do. It seems that with a 4 year old daughter, a pregnant wife and overtime at work, I barely have time to start the engine and take off. Of course, I always spend more time reading the forums at Avsim than anything. I can get 10 minutes here or there for flying, but its hard to find time for a complete flight. OK, I'm finished. Can anybody else relate ? Oh uh...time to take the blackened Lasagna out of the oven. Thanks :-lol GregOpps, I see my typos only after posting. We had a beautiful opening day here in Lakeland with great weather and many safe arrivals. This is the first time the event has begun mid-week but it seems everyone is game and the turn-out so far is big. All of the regulars (venders, manufacturers, etc.) are here and much color and glitter abounds (oh if I only had a sack-full of money).Microsoft is here with a very large display set-up in a pavillion. Beautiful liveries, amazing speed and what detail!!. As good if not better than the Tornado. If you have been thinking of this purchase by all means GO FO IT!! If you are an AOL user eliminate a big hassle and provide them w another Email other than an AOL address till the problem is worked out. You won't be sorry !! I recently added some third party software, and now no longer see the AI Traffic. Any help would be great.
