GreetzI wonder if anyone can help.Using Gary Summonds excellent part 2 SW England scenery along with VFR scenery I am getting runway and environs tearing which seems to indicate a slight discrepancy in heights.Does anyone know what needs to be altered to correct this; using AFCADS doesnt help.Once airborne all is wellAny help or suggestions appreciated.Sun

Ok so I am trying to add a flightplan in here i have no problem doing it when runing just tje trainer.http://members.shaw.ca/evan.lask/gps.jpgwhat im trying to do is push in the knob on the right but i try right and left clicks it just rotates the knob. what i want to do is the push function. I try the middle mouse and it only tries to scroll the display but does nto push the knob.. how do i do this

Hello;Anyone who has flown in western Canada and is familiar with Vancouver airport knows that the default ILS provided by MS for 26L is incorrect. There is a fix that replaces the 109.5 with 110.7 by replacing the canwils.bgl file in the scenerydb. However, this fix also removes the ILS from 26r- 26R and 08L have the same ILSand glideslope, but this fix removes it. Similarily, the new ,excelent scenery by Nigel Grant suffers the same fate- how is it possible to correct this- or are my numbers wrong? Does 26R have a different ILS? Cheers!

Hey Gang!Is it possible for me to utilize for example, the air file and .cfg file form Harrald's A-310-300 with Mike Stone's MD-11? I love this MD-11 but the flight characteristics are driving me nuts!!!! On approach, this bird is nose down all the way and if you bring the nose up just a bit, it climbs like a bat out of hell - it's very difficult to perform your approach with a nose up attitude, while declerating, maintaing altitude, or descending. It almost takes off like a B-52 - nose straight attitude while gaining altitude, and you can land and stop it in any aircraft carrier of your choice. I personally love the airplane and think Mike did a fantastic job with it, even though the dynamics were pretty out of whack. Hi guys,Paul & others, can you make a modification (patch) for the A300/A310 panel that would simply remove the cockpit side views (all 7 views), in order to correctly use the panel with the Project Airbus A300 V3? What I mean is that in normal cockpit view (2D panel view) when the view is switched to any side view, the virtual cockpit is visible, and this does not look good when mixed with the added side views. So can Paul or someone else make a patch that would remove the side views correctly from the Panel.cfg while still keeping the second main panel view(the main panel view which shows everything in the main panel)? How do I go about changing the frequency of a default NAVAID in FS2002? A local military base has a DME arc procedure and a DME on the airfield but the frequency is 133.XX (I can't remember off hand exactly what it is). Anyhow, the normal NAV1 or NAV2 radio doesn't tune to this range. Can I change the frequency of the default NAVAID to a more reasonable 108.50 for example? Is there a utility for this?Thanks in advance!

Hi thereHope you can help me understand the working of "real weather"1:Sometimes when I download real world weather (using FS download facility) I get very detailed weather information, sometimes eg. visibility or winds or precipitation is not consistent with the "real" weather reports, eg. no snow where tons is falling. Why is this?2: Sometimes I get nothing at all. Is this because a certain locations weather station is closed? (I like to fly in remote areas like Alaska and Greenland)One more question: Is it possible to have two cloud layers, both in the "overcast" class (I mean in real life )?Cheers,halabraham

I am getting a new computer.After installing fs2002 how do I transfer all the add-ons etc so that I have exactly what I have now?I am having a computer shop transfer all my files but they tell me I have to reinstall all my programs.Can I just copy and overwrite all my FS folders?Will that transfer my keyboard assignments and preferences?Is there a tutorial anywhere explaing this?Thanks for the help.Ron

I download a lot of aircraft,but when I get one that leaves me out in "space" when I look to the right or left,I delete it right away!I like to fly from the cockpit, it's more real, Anyone else fell this way??

Hello all, As it says. I'm looking to repaint some aircrafts but I can't seem to locate the DXT Compression agent. I went to the Nvidia Developers site but was unable to locate it. Also I use PSP7 so if anyone knows where to locate the DXT compression for psp please help me out. :) Any help will be greatly appreciated. Say for instance you are flying radial 360 inbound to VOR GIJ. When you pass over the VOR and follow the same radial would u still consider it the 360 radial? Or would u call it the 180 radial? Can someone explain this to me? Also if u fly over a VOR on a certain radial and then when going outbound u switch to another radial wouldnt the autopilot want to command the aircraft to turn to go inbound on the slected radial? im kinda new to the whole realistic flying as im only 14 and i just started flying addon aircraft and payware aircraft that fly witht he same systems till the end of this past summer. before i bought payware packages i had no idea that ther wher such things…

Hi fellow aviators :), I recently installed the very well done B737-200 FFX plane and added some additional ac textures to it. Im pretty familiar w configuring the aircraft config file to recognize the new textures. The textues show up fine, but when I try to communicate w atc..they refer to me as "experimental", eventhough I've used the correct atc airline name as specified in the airlines.config file. Some liveries though, are recognized correctly. Thanks for any help. Yoram

Now that Paul Golding has released his excellent A310 panel, I have renewed enjoyment and enthusiasm for not only his work, but the excellent work of harald Nehring and his A310's as well!I searched the lib for some good skins for alternative liveries and found what appear to be a couple of good ones, but thought to ask a couple of questions:1. What are the best liveries quality wise that you've seen for this A310? 2. Does anybody know if a Delta Old Colors version exists? i have what seems like a gazillion PAI airlines installed and one of them is Chicago express (ata connection).there's a little issue that comes up while i'm listening to the ATC at Midway and it only occurs with one ATC female voice.instead of using the "windy city" call sign, she calls it "westjet". i have the newest version of voicepack and updated everything so what is the deal? i have thought of going to Vancouver to see if she calls Westjet "windy city" ;) one lady says it and that's all!!!

Hi guys. I am considering the Eurowings add-on for my next set of planes based on the review in the March issue of Computer Pilot magazine. However before I order it I would like to find out if anyone has developed liveries for the ATR-42/72's that are included. One thing One thing that detracts rom the package for me is a lack of any American livery for the ATR's even though they did include United livery for the BAe-146 and the A-319. I know for a fact that there are ATRs in use in the U.S. and being a Pennsylvania resident I do most of my flying around the northeast. If anyone has seen any liveries posted for the Eurowings ATRs I'd love to know about it. Thanks.

I was reasonably confident that a large number of the members of this forum who undoubtedly make good use of FSUIPC would do the honourable thing and make a donation to Pete's fund. Unfortunately this has not been the case and donations have more or less dried up.Pete is now considering his options and you are not going to like any of them. I'm experiencing a problem while tuning adf frequencies: and especially adf frequencies of this kind:xxx.5I'm dialling the decimal 5 and when swapping it over to the active position, the decimal 5 disappears again!
