Does anyone know what happened to Patrizio Migliola? He created some fantastic real ATC adventures for FS but seemed to have stopped doing so quite abruptly about a year and a bit ago. It's a shame as these types of adventure are very rarely made these days.CheersM.

Is it possible to configure AI aircraft flightplans to do, say, training circuits over a given course from and to a home airport? Or can flights only be set up "as the crow flies" between two different locations?I can't for the life of me work out how to set up waypoints, but I may not be looking in the right places. Thanks in anticipation of any advice or pointers.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg

Hello Gang!Even though I am one of Mike Stone's MD-11 biggest fans, last night I realized that this bird needs some help in the flight model department. Has anyone looked at it?????Consequently, the FFX 727-200 needs even more help in the flight model dept. This thing is tough, especially with flaps and on final approach.Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

I am getting a new computer p4 2.4 gh 512 ram.The computer store guy is recommending ATI 64 mb card.I am using a p2 866 with Voodoo 3 card now.Should I be asking about a better card than the ATI 64? I want to do it right and cost may or may not be a factor.I guess it is relevant to what the best value is for the performance. Thanks for any help.Ron

The VGA to DVI converter I ordered should be sitting at home waiting for me as I type this, and I'm getting really excited about plugging a second monitor into my Ti4400. But the more I read about it, the more worried I get. All I want to do is have a few gagues and controls appear on the 2nd monitor. I don't want any of my windows desktop stuff there, I don't want any of the cockpit there, I don't want anything there except for a couple of items. My plan all along was to fly in virtual cockpit view on the primary monitor (as I have all along--this is FS2K2, btw) except with the benefit of having the radio stack and VOR dials and stuff I can't control from the VC appe…

Two years ago, I began flying in the real world after flying sims for about 15 years. FLY and MS were instrumental in saving me thousands of dollars in training as well as keeping me proficient, now that I have my instrument rating, and am about to complete my commercial and multiengine. I am now in my second year of law school and have decided that the rest of my life will be devoted to aviation. Teaching aviation law classes, working in the business of aviation, utilizing my law degree to help pilots, etc. And simming has helped me come to this realization. Particularly after getting the chance to take a 3 hour ride in Boeing's Full Motion MD-11 and MD-90 sim in Long B…

I hope you guys can help me with something.Up until a few days ago, I had just one extra video card on my main computer. I used it to display the instrument panel.Everything worked fine.I put in a second PCI card to display FSNav and a few other nav aides. It worked once, but then it started causing FS to crash or lock up.Remove the extra display, and everything is normal again.Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening??Also, I noticed when I only had the one PCI card installed, the settings screen showed a third, ghosted out monitor present. So, when I enable the third monitor, it shows I have four monitors. What is this all about? I cant enable monitor No. 3 and…

Hello All,Ok you hardware guru's . . I presently have a Asus P4B266/ w a P-4 Northwood 1.8, which is OC'd to 2.2, 512 pc2100 ram/ and VisionTek GeForce 4600 Ti 128 meg card; also the usual 7200 rpm hard drive. Now it runs 2002 fine, always staying in the 28-30 fps bracket unless I go to Atlanta or some other very heavy scenery and then it NEVER drops below 18. All in all I'm fairly pleased. With the advent of 2004, we all know that the system will have to be upgraded.....so, my question is: Which is presently the best MB to use if I am planning to run a 2.8 P-4 and overclock it . . . hopfully to about 3.3. I am sort of stuck on Asus but could be swayed.Advice on the MB a…

I was at Staples in the software section a couple of weeks ago and I came upon an FS2000 box (yes, 2000) for something like $19.99. I guess it was for the sake of nostalgia or something, but I turned the box over and scanned the back of it. Oh the memor..what..wait a second..I recognized one of the pictures -distinctly- as being from FS2002. And I looked at it even closer-yes it was the Bell 206 from FS2002, with the paint job from 2002, the sky from 2002, the terrain from 2002, and even autogen. I am curious why Microsoft would do such a thing if it was in fact on purpose, but it made me chuckle, nonetheless.

I bought the Archer from Dream fleet which by the way i'm totally happy with if any one is considering buying it.The manual says how to set the eye point but it's for the virtual cockpit which i never use. When i'm at let's say Miegs the nose is way up so i hit shift enter twice then backspace - for .50 zoom and i like it there but the min. i go into spot view and go back in the cockpit i have to reset it again. It gets to be a pain after a while. I know there's a way and you set it for every plane you fly, they said how it's done on the fs2002 tips site but it's gone now. can any one tell me how? i always get a good reponse when i come here when i'm stuck---thanks Louis

Hey gang,I would be forever indebted to the person(s) who would be kind enough to e-mail me a copy of the Project Freeware B733 and B734 in the current or old USAir(ways) colors.Unless this sort of request is frowned upon in this forum...then by all means, mods, please delete this post.Thanks,Mattburwick0828 @ charter.net (remove the spaces)

Could someone please help me in locating the Concorde gauges. I've downloaded the "Concorde_pack_ver_1.zip" and upon a test flight, I'm using FS2002Prof, the gauges are not loaded, apparently I need the gauges from FS2000 (concorde.gau) which I do not have. I've tried searching in the forum and cannot locate them, and it seems that quite a number of other aircraft are utilizing these gauges. Could anybody email me with the file, or let me know where I can download it from. Thnak you very much.Daniel McDonaldBunbury Western Australiaemail: [email protected]
