Hi allI built my P3/1000 machine around 18 months ago and only put a Geforce2Mx video card into it.Actually, I am quite pleased with its' performance. The only places that the system doesn't like much is city areas such as London . Flying around the UK , I get quite good and useable framerates until I hit London .But, at this stage, I can't really justify upgrading to a P4 and also believe that replacing the Geforce2Mx with a Geforce4 TI is probably not warranted either.I do believe that a Geforce 3 TI "would" have been the ideal match for the P3/1000 at the time of the build - but unfortunately couldn't afford one.I can get a Geforce 4 MX440 quite cheaply -- and am wonde…

I'm having trouble with aircraft i have downloaded (ie.757, 767) reaching a decent cruising level (35000ft or above) without it losing airspeed and stalling, this doesn't happen with the default aircraft. Any ideas how and what to change in the aircraft config.files to stop the above happeing?? They tend to falter between 26000 - 33000ft.

I just installed my new TI4600 on my AMD 1 GHZ machine with 768 MB of SDRAM PC133. I have been using this system for two years. I previously had a TI200. I was wondering why I have not seen a significant improvement in FPS. I have tried everything. I have tried different resolution. This card should be a powerhouse. Is it beacause of my Processor and MEM. If I replace this system with a 2.53 GHZ processor with DDR RAM will it help? Or is FS2002 max frame rate capacity still 10-15 fps. I am frustrated. Hello,what commercial or freeware product represents the biggest and most detailed Airport in FS ? With things like working Follow-Me Car, supply traffic, push-back Truck, moving Gate etc.My question is not about best framerates or a favourite location, it's just to see what is technical possible with FS today.

is the lack of fine adjustment of the seat height!!! Now , I know that that sounds like a very small thing when considered against the overall programme (which I love!) -- but the thing that makes the Sim the most difficult to use for me is the limited vision that we have. So anything that reduces that vision even more is important.Now please , don't tell me HOW to adjust the seat height -- I know that, but what I would love to find out is HOW the seat height can be adjusted in finer increments. Hello!I was thinking about purchasing Radar Contact version 3 after reading the reviews about it.But before I shell out the $44 for it, could any of you who are using this program tell me what you think of it?Is it worth it? Are there any issues with the program. Hi! Today I found FS2002 can't find my joystick axis anymore. Key still working, but axis all gone. I check setting page. Enable Joystick is unmark. I mark it again, but the assignment page still show no joystick there. Restart FS2002, Enable joystick unmark again. Does anyone know how to fix this? Reinstall FS2002? Thank you.Li

I am currently running 2 monitors off of my TI4600. I would like to add a third monitor. I may purchase a 17" NEC off of eBay this week, but what video card do I need to add for it? All I need the third monitor to do is display the overhead panel from the DF737. I looked at several low-end cards today. Do I need any onboard memory? Any 3D support? Any suggestions at all? Hi there, I would be very grateful if I can receive some advice before I invest in the 9700 video card. From all accounts, it seems to work womders, especially with regards to framerates. Anyway, here's my dilemna. Presently, the only aircraft that I fly is the PSS Dash 8 because our national airline has an entire fleet of Dash-8 300s (Bahamasair), and I have always had a love for this plane. However, when using the PSS Dash 8 in FS2002 with my system, I experience lock-ups lasting a few seconds when switching views in the 2d cockpit (or virtual cockpit for that matter). Hi Guys,When I finally hooked up my second monitor I wasn't too sure how to utilize it. With the help of a couple of guys (ChickenHawk and cwr707) I got it working fine. After a while I set about organizing how best to integrate the three programs I use when flyin. I've prepared a check list and found it quite helpful. downloaded and installed ac520vc from flight sim online after reading great review on avsim. Aircraft is there on FS2002 but no guages in panel. I unzipped HJPGuages.cab and ST_500.cab into main guages folder of FS2002. I tried to follow guages installation by making separate folders of the above. I noticed that after unzipping HJPGuages ND st_500 that there were no GAU files as in other aircraft that I have downloaded. There were mainly BMP filesThanks for any help you can give

Ilove the Commander, but keep getting pushed off the runway on moderate cross winds such as 8 Kts direct. I don't seem to have it on my other A/C. Have reset rudder effectiveness, null point, toyed with wind settings in FSUIPC and set P factor and yaw sliders to far left. Is anyone else having this, or could it be something with my basic Ini or config files? My sytem runs fairly well. Locked FPS at 17, sliders about midpoint, no shadows, PAI routes for Delta, AA, SW, United, Continental, And America West, thus fair amount of AI. Appeciate any helpful thoughts! Hi Folks,Toni Agramont has given us many fantastic freeware scenery packages. Many thanks go to Toni for his excellent work.I installed his South Caribbean scenery package and find that I have a problem where textures are missing on some apartment house buildings.Toni's readme indicates that you need the Nova textures and they are to be installed in the texture folder of his package's scenery.I have installed all of the Nova textures that he requires and they are in the proper texture folder of his South Caribbean scenery. When that didn't help, I installed them in fs2002/texture and it still doesn't work.Has anyone had a similar problem?Any other suggestions?Thanks in a…
