Hey Patrizio,I recently downloaded your excellent AZA MD80 and noticed that you forgot to remove the mipmaps on a few parts.I have since done that on my download and was wondering if I had your permission to post the fixed textures here, if of course you don't want to do it yourself. :)Absolutley fantastic repaint! hi, I'd like to capture VDO from FS using a TV-out VDO card (GF2 MX400) connected to a Panasonic VCR recorder via AV cable. (and turned on clone mornitor function) But the problem is I can't record anything, when I play it back it's just all silent black video. I also did the samething as an experiment with my VDO capture card (connecting the AV cable from the TVout VGA card to the AVin of the capture card) and the picture shows OK so that means that there is nothing wrong with the VDO out feature. But I cannot use the computer to record FS VDO while playing FS cause that wil hog too much CPU power and mak the game unplayable. Wondering why I can't record anything …

I've been away from FS for a while now and few months ago I saw a screenshotof some new Boeing planes that a group? made.It had some kind of name just like Open Sky does but I cannot rememberwhat it was and where their planes can be found.I read many threads where people were saying those planes were the bestones made for FS2002 ever, and I believe they were freeware.Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about? I'd really appreciate any help towards figuring this out.Edit: I think 747 was their first release.

I recently installed the Detonator 29.42 drivers in place of the 40.72s that I had been using. I was surprised to find that my FPS nearly doubled (no exaggeration) under all flying conditions! As a reference point, when sitting on Rwy 36 at Meigs I normally get about 28-30 FPS with the 40.72s. With the 29.42s I got over 55. In flight The FPS frequently went up to 80.The downside? Working in full-screen mode the ALT key would not bring up the menu bar and FS Navigator wouldn't display if anti-aliasing was on. Probably other problems too but I didn't investigate any further. Everything behaved normally when I worked in a window instead of full-screen but I don't like…

I'm getting a new system this week and have a question about reloading FS2002. I have many, many add-ons and don't want to reload each and every one. I'm under the impression that I can 1) reload FS2002 complete and then 2) copy over each of the folders and .cfg files (except the FS2002.cfg one). Then I would delete the FS2002.cfg file and start FS2002 and let it reconstruct the file. Am I anywhere near correct on this? I've only had to reload FS once in the past 5 years (FS2000) and I didn't have as many add-ons as now (AI aircraft, etc.). Hello,I'm not to sure if my system has caught a virus. I have recently installed MS Office XP, but I have noticed that when I start up, I get a background application running under the name of ctfmon. I've runa virus search but no joy. If I try to end the program, it gives program not responding message. I then close the end the program, only to find that if starts up again later.Is this a virus or is this a common application that other people have? If it is a virus, is there anyway to remove it.Also I've tried windows (ME) selective start up and have removed the program from initial startup, but it still runs - Registry (per user-run)???Please can anyone shed any light …

Man, I think I really screwed up here...I did a forum search, but couldn't find anything helpful.I have an "austere" system (Ath 900 etc) and had project AI AA, Delta Express, United AI loaded. The framerates at DFW got horrendous, so I deleted (using remove program function in W98) the project AI programs. Now...zero AI, no default FS2K2 jets, nothing...Is there a config file I may have lost in the process? I have dynamic scenery on, ATC at 100, everything seems turned on, but nobody home...Silence, loneliness, woe is me...any assistance is appreciated.Not having to fight with all that AA traffic on final at DFW is nice, but this is ridiculous!!!!TIADave

Can someone do a repaint of FFX's 737-200 in Vangard colors??? I would love to see this bird in the Blue belly white top scheme Vangard once used. This scheme was done once by Project Freeware, in which I've never seen one done again. These birds would fly in and out of Chicago Midway all the time. Vangard birds were a frequent site at KMDW not too long ago.Thanks to anyone who takes the time.

I love my GoFlight stuff but...I sure wish it was more compact and made to look more like a real nav/com radio. I also dislike the knobs on the 166 which stick out about 3 inches (at least 2" more than necessary). These seem like simple fixes that wouldn't necessarily add to the price at all but would certainly increase value. For those of you experiencing problems with either aircraft in regards to flight dynamics, PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME ABOUT THEM!I am (and have been since the DC9 release) on a personal leave of absense from FFX/SGA and FS altogether basically to take care of personal matters. Hello.Can someone please tell me what the difference is between the Low and High Altitude Airways, also the difference between how MSFS uses them, and how they work in real life ( I presume the two are different!! ).I plotted a course between EBBR and KSFO, and the difference in the route taken between the Low and High was quite significant. High altitude airways added about 400 nm to the trip, and I can't imagine airlines would jump at this opportunity.Which should I use in MSFS, when and why? In the midst of our winter storm here (the city's pretty well closed down), I got to thinking about FS and engine anti ice.I understand that, like carb heat in small piston planes, anti ice robs some bleed air, thus power, from the jet engine. How much is lost? Does it vary significantly from engine to engine?How about wing anti icing on jets? Do all jets use bleed air there? Effect on engine power?And finally, I'm curious that, if it does rob power, why is deice never simulated on FS jetliners? As is, I flip on anti-ice, engine de-ice etc, with no effect on power. As many of you may be aware of, we are having near blizzard conditions in Colorado today.I live in Colorado Springs and decided to take an IFR flight on the simulator (with the help of Active Sky and FS Flightmax) since it is not possible in the "real aviaiton world" for me today.Here is a shot of the weather return that I was getting from the snow while sitting on the runway, prior to takeoff....and yes it is from the snow!Scott :(

I noticed that on some of FFX's 737s there is no night textures and only the wing's landing light are visible from the cockpit... These are soeme great birds and I hope this is not too much to ask (can someone update the existing night textures and also is it possible for FFX to activate the rest of the bird's landing lights??)....
