I am so sorry to hear about Richard. God Bless.About the problem in hand, I have a problem with my PSS panels. The autopilot doesn't switch on. I took off from VHHH and tried to switch on the autopilot but it didn't switch on. This applies to both 777 and 747 panels. Anyone have any suggestions?

Does anyone else have issues with visability going down to bascically zero when changing views?I have this problem with all of my aircraft and it is bugging me greatly.I am using FSMeteo.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Cheers!

I just installed the new freeware commander, and now fs2002 is completely broken. Whenever I select any aircraft, I get a black screen and my computer locks up. Then I get an HGHB Gauge error in windows saying "Open Regsitry Write"I need to uninstall all the files that program put on my computer. I think the culprit is hjpgauges.cab.Does anyone know where I can get a working copy of this file? If someone has it could it be sent to me at [email protected]. It overwrote my old one and now NOTHING works. I just want to uninstall this plane and just get back to a working program without re-installing.

Folks:I've tried a search on the subject of hopping airplanes but didn't get any hits so I thought I'd just ask the question:Why do my airplanes "hop" or "jump" or "bounce" badly during taxi at certain airports (add-on scenery, both commercial and freeware, both MS FS2K2 default airplanes and commercial add-on airplanes)? I've been away from the simulator for about a month. When I left, all was well. Now that I'm back, the image on my primary server looks as though the antialiasing has been disabled. I checked the display configuration and AA is enabled. I tried rebuilding the config file, installing new drivers, even installing DX9 - but the problem persists. I can bring things back to normal by enabling AA outside of FS2K2, but then I take a big hit in frame rates if I make it as aggressive as it needs to be to produce the visual quality I once had.To the best of my knowledge, I haven't installed any new software since I last used FS2K2 regularly. The only thing installed were MS updates…

I've had some ISP-related problems here in the last couple of months and I need some input on whether I have another one. Have the forums here really slowed down in the past two weeks? Or has BellSouth's ADSL bitten the dust (again)? It's taking me 20-40 seconds to access any AVSIM page or post at any time. I hate to go through the ISP bureaucracy again if there's no need. I have been experiencing a frustrating crash in FS2k2 Pro every once in a while. I'll be in flight, regardless of aircraft I'm flying, and I decide I want to change the weather. I go into the menu and change the weather, but just as soon as I click "OK", the game stops responding and I get a pop-up window which states that there was a fatal error. It seems that there is a file called " NTDLL.DLL " that causes this crash. Only the game is crashing, not my system. This has been happening off and on since I purchased the computer back in December of 2002. It doesn't happen everytime I change the weather during flight. I noticed something with the brakes in FS2002. When I first loaded FS previously as well as on a new system the brakes seem to work fine and the red "brakes" notice appears on the screen at the lower right of the screen. When brakes are applied, the indicator goes on, when I release the brakes, the indicator would go out as expected. Now all of a sudden, when I apply brakes and release, whether on my rudder pedals or through the keyboard, the indicator on the screen stays on. I found the only way to get rid of the red "brake" word on the screen is to apply the parking brake and then release them. The indication then goes away until I apply them again, then it stays on. I know no one is working on one and Mike Stone made the last L-1011, but it sure would be great to see a newer version of the L-1011 for FS2002/04. I know a lot of use are still big fans of the old work horse. I remember when they came out with the L-1011 package for FS2002. It may not be as popular as the Airbus or Boeing, but that was one awesome plane.

My local airport KAVP has an ATIS frequency of 111.6. It appears lower than all the other ones I've seen. Sure enough, when I try to tune it in I can't because the COM radio only goes as low as 117. Therefore I can never get my local ATIS. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks. :-)

Since I installed FS2002 on a new system I noticed that I don't seem to see any aircraft on the ground at any airports except Meigs. I have the dynamic scenery slider up all the way. Am I overlooking something? Is the ground aircraft tied in with AI aircraft and if so how do I adjust? Thanks. :-)

I am flying this plane and really like it. The only fault I can find is that it needs a brake for the prop so the operator can stop it after the engine is shut down. I know I can stop it by slowing way down and it will stop by itself but that is a pain. The one in flight unlimited 111 had a brake on it so I know it can be done. I looked thru the config but am not knowledgeable enough to do this on my own. Anybody have any suggestions? Don

I just got the C-130E package fromAlphaSim today and thought that I would share my initial impressions with the group.The AlphaSim purchase system is pretty easy and pain free...other than a short wait. The system requires that a password be sent to you via email so I was not able to immediately download the package late last night; however, I was all set this morning (I sure that the response was fast when the time difference between the UK and Michigan is taken into account when considering the norm. working day). I know this is not the official support forum for the Flight One / Dreamfleet B734, but I'll try here first. Placing the HSI into MAP mode, and then switching any of APT, VOR, NDB buttons to display on the HSI, brings up the yellow "Map Error" on the HSI. I gather I have deleted something important :). The VOR/APT/NDB never shows on the HSI, of course.Thanks,Bruce.
