Fellow simmers, I have a unique problem. In some planes so equipped, the "descent callout" ("500" - "400" - "300" - "200" - etc.)is SO loud out of speaker #3 (4 speakers plus sub) on my new Dell system that it is disturbing to others in adjoining rooms. I can't adjust volume on this one set of sounds on my keyboard. It just seems OVERLY loud compared to engine, cockpit, and environment sounds. Please tell me how to either control or eliminate these sounds. I'd prefer controlling them rather than losing them. Thanks, Stan

Hi,I've been running FS2k2 for a while now and it's giving me fits with some add-on aircraft. Sometimes the aircraft shows up in FS, and sometimes it dosen't. For example, I recently tried to install the new MelJet 777 but it dosen't show up in FS. The folder is in the aircraft folder in FS but it (and a lot of other planes) isn't listed. I am running an Athalon XP1800, 528 meg of ram, Win98SE. Any ideas?Bill DanielsTucson, AZ

Why would I all of the sudden not be able to see any new aircraft that I add to the aircraft folder in the aircraft editor?Today I added a few planes and edited them fine. When I added the next one, it wouldn't show up in the list on the aircraft editor. It isn't an issue with it just being a texture file. I tried a few more and still no new additions show up in the editor. Any ideas???

Hi All,I'm taking a pilgramage to my own personal Mecca - the Boeing Plant and the Museum of Flight in Seattle! I'm arriving early morning on Sunday the 4th of May and was wondering if anyone from the Seattle area could point me to a great hobby shop, pilot shop and some tips on where the best areas are to plane spot. Hi everyone,I know it has been posted several times with some solutions, but what about these blurry textures in FS2002. After I upgraded my video card from an nVidia 2/GTS to a new nVidia 4/4200Ti/64, I now have blurry textures at times. I use nVidia detonator driver version 30.82, but I have received them with all current detonator versions up to the latest.When FS2002 first loads, everything is fine during most of the flight. When I start the decent, I then start to see ground textures beginning to blur from the horizon back toward my plane, to the point that all ground textures blur.Has anyone found out why this happens and what the cure is? I currently have a Celeron 1.3ghz w/384mb memeory. I'm thinking of getting another 128 to up it to 512mb but I'm not sure if it would even make a difference. I'm planning to build/buy a faster system in about a year. Just curious as to whether I'll notice a difference. $45 could probably be better spent... Thanks.BTW- Still running Win98....

But the reference to the guages in the Panel.cfg ie gauge00=sd3_inst!PropRpm1, 850,541,79,79gauge01=sd3_inst!PropRpm2, 931,541,79,79gauge02=sd3_inst!Oil_PT1, 772,541,80,80gauge03=sd3_inst!Oil_PT2, 1009,541,80,80Am I missing some guage files? I didn't see any in the zip file I downloaded from the flightsimnetwork web site?Any help would be appreciated...Barry

Hey Guys,As Of This Morning Flight Simulator 2002 (Pro) has stopped responding when I go into the ALT menu. This also happens when chaning aircraft or getting weather using the default weather system in the sim. This is mostly happening with third party aircraft- and sometimes with the default aircraft. Last night we completed trasferring everything over to a new 80gig HD and after that I reinstalled FS. The only modules and addons I have installed in flight simulator are Active Camera, FSUIPC (Latest Version) ,Project AI airlines, the FSD Commander115TC and MelJet 777. I hope it does not come to reinstalling again and losing all my AI- hopefully this isnt the reason. Any…

I re-loaded Windows, but kept my FS2002. I was just flying over Oshkosh and there is a large gray square where the MS scenery should be. Appearently it needs to be in the registry and so I need to re-install it, but I didn't save the orginal. I searched MS and Avsim with no luck.Any one know where a copy can be found?Thanks,Ken

i have been using FS 2002 with pai planes involved. i just installed frontier but the atc never uses its name during transmission. i went through the edit voicepack thing twice and still no luck.is there a place i could go to find call signs for airlines?

Well, I finally ordered all the upgraded hardware for my Computer and should have it all ready by May 10th. The big delay is in getting the new ATI Radeon 9800 PRO video card. Seems no one has it in stock until the early part of May.I should be able run the new simulator with this new setup when it comes out in July.It is rediculous how much money we spend on this hobby, but i should not complain, since I used to spend more on Golf when that was my passion.

I added some aircrafts to FS, and FS hung up during startup... it says that my pc is out of available memory. I have Pentium 4 1500Mhz 512RAM 60gb and 40gb hard drivesFs is on C: (60gb). I have about 31gb of free space on C:and I'm using Win MePlease Help.....Thank YouJacek
