hey everyone, this is my first post here and i have some questions about the PSS set. I use the meljet 777 alot, but i want to take it to a new level with the PSS 777 panel which i here is extremely realistic. What is the cheapest way for me to get the 777 panel. The only place i know now where i can get it is the World Airliners set, but i have no use for the 747 panel. I'm using FS2002. Thanks for you help!!!!!!!

Lately, I've encountered a wierd situation that I've never had before. It seems that when I start MSFS and go to my default airport (or even if I select another plane or location at INITIAL startup), my engine and throttle start to accelerate and rev up. I have to touch a button on the joystick or change views or something to get it to calm down. I've tried re-initializing my default set up with the Cessna, but it still happens. What's causing this and how can I go back to my simple engine idle at startup? Stan

Just curious, but how do medium range or short range aircraft such as Cessnas, Piper Archers, Biz Jets, commuters, 737s, etc. get delivered to far off delivery areas from the factory? I have seen many Just Planes videos with 737s or shorter route commuters such as the Dash-8 in Europe, Tahiti, etc. Are they ferried by pilots using shorter island hops for rufueling or is it done another way? I just installed a new XP-2600+ chip and FS2002 crashes and I get a serious system error.I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe board with 1 gig PC2700 memory and a Leadtek A280 GeForce4 Ti4200 8x AGP 128mb video card running 43.45 drivers. I also have DirectX 9.0a installed. I have FS2002 maxed out on all setting for display, scenery, etc.......I also have Flight One 421C Golden Eagle, DreamFleet 737,Radar Contact, and a ton of downloaded aircraft.What could be making FS2002 crash? Going from a XP-2400 266 bus to a XP-2600 333 bus should make this thing run like a rocket. Should I delete most everything and start fresh (flight sims that is)? Will reinstalling FS2002 do anythin…

Hi thereI've just orderd a Radeon 9700. At the minute i am using a Geforce 3 , 64mb card.Ive been told that the Radeon 9700 really eats up the power from the computer and this can be a bad thing. I dont really understand how the "power can be lost" from the system so i am asking you, have i done a really stupid thing and wasted $300+ on a graphics card thats not even going to work right with my system ?System Spec as follows:Dell Dimension 4100930Mhz30GB512mb RamPlease help me out here because 1) i really need to know if i have to cancel this order 2) i really need a new graphics cardThanks for your time, i Appreciate it!!!

I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with a P4 2.0ghz in it now with 512MB RAM. How hard is it to upgrade the CPU? Does it require a reformat (don't feel like installing everything all over again). I don't think Dell offers a CPU swapout do they?

I ask the question not as a potential designer, but as a user. I'm curious about what difference, if any exists, between the two design procedures and its effect on usability...thanks!Sherm

Hi,Since a few days, I can't use FS2002 any more because I have a strange message during FS2002 boot : "FS has detected 3rd party modules that may not work with FS2002.Name : traffic.dllClick yes to use it or no to avoid loading this module".No matter what I click, FS exits.The funny thing is that this module is perfectly valid, made by Microsoft. it appeared with no reason, just a day. I tried to reinstall FS but it always appears at the second launch.Do you have any ideas ?

Where is the Flightcraft site, i hope it is not pulled back by them.Is it a server error, or did someone say some nasty words about there new released Airbus 330-200?. I hope it is not the last reason, that would make me red hot angry ( remember Simubuild Airbus 340-600).Best regards,

I re-installed FS2002 and noticed I had misplaced my serial code for emma field. So I went to the lago website and used their code return system, it said it worked and that they would send the password to my e-mail address. It's been three days. I sent them an e-mail asking them if they could do it manually (as stated by them if the code return didn't work) no go, i can't even register at their forum because they never sent my my forum password, just curious if takes a few days or what. This is day three and I really want to get Emma Field up and running again. Thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated! Ty89m

I have a couple of aircraft that the red flashing beacon light on top is way too big. Very distracting, and frankly, ugly. Is there any way to change this so that it looks like the light on the other aircraft I use, or even disable it altogether if I can't do that? Thx.

Is there any way to increase the performance of the instruments with the default planes? The slow refresh rate makes it difficult for IFR. Is there a .ini setting that can fix this? My system is definately up to it (2.6 Ghz)- everything else is smooth as glass. Thanks for your help.

H, I'm looking for a way to change the way one tunes the radios. By default, of course, clicking "c" selects the whole units, which you can adjust with "-" or "=", then clicking "c" again selects the fractionals which you adjust the same way. Is there any way to tune them as one set? ie as you hit "=" the frations will increase till they "roll-over" to zero, at which time the whole units increment by 1 ?Also, how - by keyboard only - can you select Com1 or Com2 ? (I need keyboard only solutions as I'm making a hardware panel that works as a keyboard emulator)Richard

Maybe someone here can help,I've been having some trouble with the Dreamfleet 737 FMS crashing when I first try and activate it from the lower corner of the cockpit. The error first occured the other day, and wouldn't rectify itself with either a reboot or restart of FS. So, I reinstalled the 737 and managed to use it fine for one trip last night, however, the same error just occured again this afternoon. I don't want to keep reinstalling the program and hopefully someone can help. I've tried the DF forum but no replies there. All the particulars are below. Hi All,One of the latest uploaded file is the scenery file for Tacan Beacons by Marcel Ritzema. I have downloaded this file as I always download everything concerning the Netherlands. :-)However, due to my lack of knowledge in aviation I do not quite know what to do with these beacons. I normally fly into or from Schiphol by Lago. I have the latest Sids and Stars for Schiphol. But, what can I do with these Beacons for the other dutch airports? How should I use it, what do these Tacan Beacons do?
