Wow, I installed a texture or 3 today and realized that I'm at 11Gb of HD space used for FS2002!!!!! Man, I'm going to need a dedicated drive for the new FS I guess ;)Anyone have like 20 or 30 Gb of FS files???

I downloaded and installed the khesanh.zip file here for the Khe Sanh airport with the dynamics. It does not show up in my Scenery list. I also got another file danang.zip somewher else from the same author (Owain. Danang does show up in my scenery list. When I try to run it FS2002 aborts. I tried contacting Owain at the address given for him but the e-mail was returned as an invalid address. Has anyone got either or both of these sceneries to work in FS2002? I do have all of the needed textures installed as far as I can see. Maybe Owain will see this post, I hope. Thanks, regards, Bob.

Several months ago I thought I saw a zip which allows one to walk around their aircraft for a close visual inspection. Flight Sim 2k2 only has the Spot Aircraft feature. The zip I saw, or thought I saw, allows a visual inspection straight into the engine(s), between the wheels, straight into the cockpit, etc.Have looked through FS2K2 Utilities and Miscellaneous sections, have tried using key words as a General Description in the Extended Search section. Would anyone be able to give me a hint as to fixing the white box that appears in the sky instead of the cloud texture? This only happens to one cloud at a time, at certain angles. I am using FSW clouds (the newest set) and Weather-Maker 1.4. The way it seems to happen is you will be flying along level, and lets say you look out the window to your right... there will be a white box inplace of a cloud. Only one cloud though. When you go to external view the clouds will be fine, until you get the camera at the same angle. Eventually it goes back to normal.Anyway, I hope that makes sense. Thank you for the replies. Hello I have a problem which just started happening. My runway textures flicker when i go down the runway. Can someone please help me stop this problem.

from time to time in the FS2002 using a 3D party aircraft the throtthle loose sincronisation. I tried to use the CTRL+E+1+2 and it didnt work. Normaly I have to select the default 737 and go back to the 3d party aircraft.Is it possible to do it in another way? Sometimes with the PSS A320 I

This is one amazing freeware panel, as usual and as to expected from this devoted panel designer. Hi,I've gone into config and tested my microphone, set it all up, sounds great ;-)Then when I go into "Adjust" and click "Test Mike" the recording is very fussy with a sort of click, click static noise in the back ground, anyone any ideas? I was flying tonight and I noticed when I went to the spot plane view, my ability to zoom in and out had shifted. I could zoom very close into the airplane, but my ability to zoom far away from it was gone. The furthest out I could get still kept the majority of my plane on the screen (I could not even see both wingtips at once). Does anyone know how to fix this? I would really like to take screenshots with more of the horizon again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Couple quick questions about the Omega drivers.1) It states on his site: The drivers can be installed just by upgrading your current drivers, there is no need to uninstall previous ones, they are made in a way that all your previous settings will be erased when they are installed. Does this include going from the 30.xx series as well? I have the 30.82's installed now but want to give the 40.xx series Omega's a try.2) Where on the Omega site can you go to get the 42.86's that from what I read are the best 40 series out there. The Omega site has the 43.45's on there now?Thanks for any help.

I would like to add an ambient a/c cockpit background sound to my Ariena 733 cockpit at start up; not the usual air conditioning 'blower' wav but something more like the pic 763 background. would you have an idea as to how to achieve this. many thanks for your consideration. patrick.

i have a p4 2.8geforce ti 46001 gig ramhas run fs2002 and EVERY other game flawlessly until last weekall of the sudden no matter what game i am running the game locks upthe lockups last 10-12 seconds and then everything goes back to normal.. for about 20-30 seconds. then it locks up again.this continues until i end the game.changing settings within the games does nothing to cure the problem.i had made no (zero) changes to my 'puter when this problem began.i was running 40.72 drivers with perfect sucess.i removed (also used det destroyer) and re-installed 40.72, no helphave removed and installed 41.09 and 43.45. no help'puter is always defragged, clean, etc.ton-o-space on …

Flying for $40 an hour.I am a law student who currently flies about 2-3 times a week out of BED, Bedford, Massacusetts, while living in Boston. I am an instrument rated pilot with approx 200 hours, who flies Warriors, 172's, Arrows, a Cherokee Six, and a new 182S. I am building time toward the commercial, and as many will know, flying alone sometimes gets a little mundane. Now I will qualify this by saying that flying never gets mundane like some things in life, but relative to say aerobatic training, it gets a little mundane.
