Hello all!Alright, I'm really confused. I tried downloading the FS Sky World SE package and haven't got a clue what to do with it. I've tried the instructions/readme and it doesn't help at all. Can anybody tell me (step by step please) how I can get these clouds installed and working in FS2002? I suddenly cannot install Nvidia drivers. I get an error that states "incompatible RPC Stub. Installation Aborted! Any help much appreciated. FS looks terrible in standard vga!Dave

hi,I downloaded and installed the Fsgarmin 530 from the library and I start fs2002 then I try to start the Garmin 530 from the modules menu it gives me this error message "please install the Garmin simulator" <-------what is the garmin simulator?thanks, Andrew

Fellow Captains,I've searched the forums here and elsewhere and found no information on how to make the taxi lights visible from the flightdeck on this bird. Any clues?I know how to make the landing lights visible (tailhook) and the air stairs (wing folding), but haven't found the appropiate command to see the taxi lights from the flightdeck. I have also searched, but could not find this info in the documentation included with the airplane. With regards,Dave Vega

Hey gang,I'm using David Durst and Marco Ravanello's excellent PC-12 panel. Included in the download is a module to simulate an ADF2 radio. So I installed it, and I see in the panel.cfg there's a gauge called "pc12.adf2rec.gau," but I can't find anywhere in the panel to actually use this gauge. I tried looking at the position coordinates to find other gauges nearby, and tried opening the panel in M$'s default editor, to no avail.So...does anyone know where this mysterious gauge is, and if it actually works? I know that the ADF2 modlue documentation included says "for FS2000"...maybe that's the issue. I've read the main panel documentation (I would hope thoroughly), but ca…

Does anyone who has the VANS EAM2002 scenery for Mexico have a problem with missing textures? I've been thinking about what to do with the gorgeous new B732 FFX model because the IAS decays severely during climb to cruise especially with heavy fuel. Somebody kindly responded to my post recently and suggested I change the Turbine Engine Data to 22900 in the aircraft.cfg file. I didn't do this since it struck me that this would overpower the 732 quite massively.Since then, I've fiddled with some alterations and after experimenting, I have settled on a thrust entry in the turbine engine data field of 18000 (compared with the default 15900). This allows me to climb a typical profile with heavy fuel without losing IAS on the way up. I think 18000 is optimal for this…

Some help from the esteemed group of individuals here in this forum. I have lost all sounds within FS2002. All other sounds outside of the sim are fine. I have no idea how this happened. I did D/L the flightOne Cardinal a few evenings ago but have not fired up the sim until this morning. Hi friends,i need infos on subject.If, for example, i have an aircraft, let's say B737 with a B737.air and a B737.mdl and want to change its .air file with BX737.air, can i simply replace B737.air with BX737.air and change entry in aircraft.cfg (sim=B737 > sim=BX737)?Or i must rename BX737.air to read B737.air and do not edit aircraft.cfg?My question because often .mdl file has the same name as .air file; so i ask does this matter? Hello all,I have just installed the latest nvidia_w9x_omega_14345.exe for my GF3 TI-200 from www.omegacorner.com. I extracted the quality and the performance versions to 2 folders and installed the quality version. Then installed DX9.0a. I couldn't get DX9 to install properly (no D3D) under the old 30.82 creative drivers I was using. Anyway all went well except that now I have stuttering during flight. Especially over a high density area/airport. Also frame rates in cockpit drop to less than 15 (20 max set). I never got this with then older drivers. I thought of trying the performance version, Can I just install them over the top of the others using the update driver meth…

Hi all,Newbie to this forum here. I have a very serious problem in my sim. I recently installed Lennarts texture set for the benifits of Alaskan sightseeing. I take off from Ketchikan Rwy 29 and fly heading 300 after airborne. At approx N56.13.30 W131.20.90 ???? I got this from the F1 421C GPS, I see a perfectly straight water texture running over the ground, up into the mountains, over them where no water should be. Eventually it makes a perfect 90 degree turn to the left and goes even further off into the wilds. Hi all I wonder if anyone could help me with a reinstall MS2002 has been hanging on startup and I cant work out why, so I copied all the folders from ms2002 like scenery Aircraft Textures sound and effects to cd 's as I have all Lagos mesh, and gary summons UK airports, plus other addon scenerys, and also a lot of add on aircraft freeware and payware.My question is after I reinstall FS2002 can I just drag and drop these folders back to FS2002 and drop them in there respective folders, if I do will they work correctly. as this would save me so much time over re/installing them all individualy thank you for any help you can give me regards Mike

I was looking at my add/remove software in control panel and I have a lot of Win hotfix programs listed at the bottom.Reading "Help" I am sure they pertain to downloads I have installed.Can anyone explain what these are and if I can delete them?Thanks,Ron
