Hi, I installed AFCAD and a scenery related to it recently. I cannot load FS2002 anynore, it hangs up at indexing, and have already done the recommended modifications mentioned in the readme file. I changed the *.original to *.bgl and deleted the old one. I have windows XP home, and have previously installed payware programs such as Turin from Lago. Can anybody help me or give me an idea how I might fix this? I made no backups, so I can't rely on this option( my fault). I am sure this has been posted before, but I had no idea where to start. Wondering if anyone can help here... I've recently downloaded a few of the IFDG 757 with Lonny Payne's panel. I'm having problems with the UPS livery though... departing rwy 18 CYWG, winds 163@22. No matter what I do the plane pulls to the left side of the runway, and the only way to bring it back is by tapping the right brake! None of the other 757s do this... I got the file form the avsim library lastnight.Thanks,Chris

Hello,I'm wondering if other eDimensional 3D glasses users have these issues:1) Control tower never seems to fit into the 3D landscape - it is always double and out of place with the 3D effect on.2) Taxiways/ramp areas at airports don't lay down well over the airport, making VFR navigation to a distant field a bit iffy.3) VASI lights never appear where they are supposed to be, and the 3D effect is the same double-vision-screwy-glitch as with the control towers.4) Strange "stuttered" effect at horizon, especially during turns.5) I just cannot get the 3D effect to work with the Diamond Katana DA-20 VC. Every other VC looks at least good. The Katana makes absolutely NO effor…

Has anyone made a four throttle set-up?I have been messing with two controllers, one for the foot pedals and extra buttons and one for the throttle and other axis. But I would like to make a throttle quadrant. With usb can you just add throttle pots? I mean can you make up a box with four old joystick lever throttles and y connect to a usb port?Ok, another one. I have an authentic B-17 leather flying helmet with intercom and oxygen and goggles. Could I somehow hook up this to the game sound and then filter just the voice so the voice comes through the intercom and the rest of the sound comes out the speakers. Could be done. Hello fellow enthusiasts!I often enjoy browsing through the many excellent threads at PPRUNE. When I read the one below I started to wonder how often we that are not flying various types of aircraft in the real world become annoyed/upset/very angry when we think we detect strange behaviour in the airplanes in FS. There have been plenty of topics where people with more or less experince point out how bad some aspect of an aircrafts behaviour have been rendered in FS. I am getting a message that states "unable to load 3rd party software'when i try to load mike stone 727 with richard probst updated panel i have installed the latest version of FSUIPC so i am perplexed as to why i am getting this message. can anyone help me out?

I'm trying Pilot's B314 (download version) for the first time, but unfortunately I cannot get the engines to start, or do anything. - If I follow the "cold start" checklist, nothing happens.- If I load the Foynes.FLT flight (that came with the B314 package), the engines immediately shut down as soon as the flight loads.- If I start engines on a stock FS2002 aircraft, then switch to the B314, the engines again immediately shut down. I am a veteran FS2002 user and know how to start many finicky planes, but the B314 has me stumped. I've followed the checklist very carefully--still no joy. I want to fly this aircraft. Am I missing something? Can anybody help? Thanks!

Hi, Just curious if anybody knew of a site that would provide all your basic fligth planning information regarding weather (free) on the net. Or, can you get it directly from FS2002? Hello!I today downloaded ISD's latest brilliant release - Olbia LIEO. This afternoon I flew East Midlands EGNX - Olbia in a Project Airbus A320 but experienced the following problem. At about 300ft from touchdown the runway became obscured by a layer of grass. I managed to land on this and taxied off onto the taxiway which also had patches of grass scenery on it as well. This is obviously a layer problem but how do I fix it? The parking apron was not affected.Also, when I taxied onto stand I needed nearly full thrust to reach the end of the parking position, as the aircraft stopped about 10 metres from the required stop point.Any help appreciated as I love ISD's scenery.r…

I live in the western US (near Denver). I'd like to experiment with some scenic sim flights in the eastern US, in a GA (like C172) aircraft (VFR flight). I'm wondering, for the area east of the Mississippi, if anyone has some suggestions of perhaps a "round robin" of scenic flights in that area? My own visits to that area are limited, but I have noted some very beautiful country up the Ohio valley, and hear that the New England coastline is very nice too.Maybe I can drum up some similar flights here in the Rockies! My system works fine until I try to run the Meridian. I've got low frame rates (4 to 6fps) with a very capable system according to what I read on the forum. Every thing I read in the forum say it is caused by AI Traffic. How do you remove them? HiJust wanted to say I'm very impressed with MS's promise to model weather accurately in their forth-coming release. They say it uses frontal systems. This for me would be a very significant step forward for a flight sim, and seems to be aimed at attracting the more serious user, without detriment to the other stuff for the regular crowd. I'm very curious to see how this weather simulation works, and how well they make it. I mean, if you set the dewpoint close to the temperature, will there be a risk of fog being formed?
