I just purchased and downloaded "Ready for Pushback", VMAX747-200.I also purchased the British Airways Aircraft.For some reason I can't get the plane to turn on the ground, or lift off.. It's like nothing responds to my joystick..When I turn the rudder I see the back wheels turn, but the plane doesn't move..when I try to takeoff, the plane does not respond to me pulling back..I have a Sidewinder Joystick and it works fine with every other plane.. never had any problems..Am I missing something simple??Thanks!Jeff

ok from my previous post I've flown out meigs no ai traffic, flown out of yakima wa to Seattle no traffic and also heathrow no traffic what am i doing wrong I have atc turned up fully but nothing can somebody help!!!;|

I am having a strange problem with add on scneries. what is happening is that with some scneries i add through the scenery library when i go back to a certain airport the scenery no longer shows up and when i check the scenery library it is no longer listed so i have to add it again-does anyone know what causes this and how it can be fixed??

Do you have an Enroute Frequency that you monitor when not operating on an MF during VFR flight? In Canada when enroute we monitor 126.70 but I cannot find anywhere about a frequency to monitor when flying in the States.. I have seen a Flightwatch frequency of 122.0.. is that what you use for relaying position reports to other traffic??Thanks,Chris

I was wondering how can I ajust the height of the view (head altitude) for the lack of better word) :-) while in the virtual cockpit? I know I can do it while using External View, but was wondering how to do it using internal pilot view.Here are two shots to better explain both on B737 from Airpirt2002 Wilcos... the one where head seems to be high above chairs is defoult while going to Virtual cockpit and traveling. The second one is after using CTRL+7 to go to in the seat position in the aircraft.So can this head altitude change in internal pilot view be done somehow other on other aircraft (CTRL+7 is b737 wilco command only).Thanks for any help.NOTE this is not CTRL+PgU…

Anyone else had problems aliasing these recently posted helicopters to sounds other than the default Bell? I've tried getting them to work with my blackhawk and pavelow sounds, but nada. Can't say I've had problems aliasing any other sounds to any other aircraft except for these guys. Any ideas? Thanks. - Matt Duren

Why is it when engines are started in FS2002 (and as far back as I can remember in FS)- the engine revs up once it fires then comes back down to idle? (and yes- I have throttles at idle upon startup...)I mean we're not starting a motorcycle here right? It seems to happen in ALL JETS, most piston/turboprop aircraft. The ONLY add on a/c I have seen that doesn't is the PSS A319/320/321. Perhaps more out there but I only have a few add on a/c.Is there a fix for this maybe in the air file or something?Thanks in advance

My english is very poor but I will try to explain my self regarding my problem with the calibration of my CH Flightsim Yoke LE...Why do I have to re-calibrate every time I turn on my computer? Every time I use my FS2002 I notice the elevator control out of range. I use the FSUIPC to re-calibrate the elevator and the numbers are: -16193 0 16105 ... ok Then after a few minutes in the runup check, the elevator change the threshold to: -2042 -193 4050 for example. The numbers could be vary but the point here is the range of the elevator. The ailerons and rudder remains the same. I use the CH Control Mng to calibrate the yoke instead of the Windows Game Controller.…

With my modest system (AMD1700+) I have now got 41fps locked and experience a minimum of 16fps at the worst airports.I now also have autogen 100%,Scenery complexity 100%, Texture size 100%, Texture 100%, Cloud density 100%, Terrain mesh 50%, Effects 50%,and shadows on aircraft - no reflections though.Like many of you, I read about some amazing framerates, I try new drivers, but my results with my modest homebuilt system (AMD 1700+, 512MB Ram, GE4 MX440 64MbDDR with 29.42 drivers , 6.4GB and 60GB HDDs with eight partitions, Win2000) I have had to fly around with 23FPS locked and watch in horror as the framerates plunge in some intensive airports. This is a question I am raising out of pure curiosity.When we tune an ILS navaid, the frequency we dial-in is only the LOC frequency. The GS is another equipment which works in a frequency that is about three times that of the LOC. In the LOC frequency range (108.1 to 111.95MHz) there are 200 channels, while in the frequency range of the GS (329.15 to 335.00MHz) there are 40 channels.So there must be a fixed correspondence between the LOC frequencies we choose and those of the GS, which is not a one to one correspondence. Does anyone know how these frequencies are tabled against each other?Regards,

When Sim Systems sold the source code to their products it was stated that FSFlightmax and FSGarmin in the current state would be available for free download.I haven't seen them though - anybody heard or know anything?

Hello,I was wondering if Ultimate Traffic and My Traffic can work together?. Right now I have My Traffic and twins installed. Can I add Ultimate Traffic or will it cause problems?.Thanks

I know there is probably an easy fix for this, but I thought I would post a question.I have the Saitek 3d Gold USB stick. I have had it a couple months with no issues. I see Saitek has a new driver out so I dl'd it and installed it. Now in MSFS2k2, I have no throttle. I pushed the lever up and down and it does nothing. It turns, climbs, lowers flaps...etc like it should, just the throttle has stopped working. Any ideas on how to fix this?PS I have calibrated in windows (ME) and it responds like it should. Just in FS is where it wont' move.

Since I'm not able to connect to the internet too often, I have to do most of my flying offline. And, in the end it gets quite boring to add the weather yourself.So, I was wondering if there is a program that'll add fairly realistic weather (like, rain during the rain season, snow during the winter etc.) without having to get weather data online?

Lost it on a computer "meltdown". I have searched on Avsim and Flightsim.com but can't seem to find it. This panel was for an airbus but what made it so great was the night lighting. Also it was a shade of tan and not the standard gray. Any ideas where to find it.Thanks in advanceEd

As I am sure many of you are, I am anxiously awaiting the first full preview of FS2004. We had our first full preview of FS2002 by this time two years ago, and it was not released until October or Movember (if my memory serves me correctly). Can anybody give a good guesstimate when it might be coming down the pipe?
