Hi, I am currently having problems with FS2002 and want to de-install and re-install the current sceneries from the CD. If I choose to uninstall FS2002, it seems it does not give me an option for just uninstalling the sceneries. I don't wan't to go ahaed and press OK before making sure it does give me the option later to just uninstall the sceneries and does not uninstall the whole game. I know this is basic stuff, but I have not had to mess with this before, so I am green on this. All my troubles started when I uploaded some 3rd part scenery from another site. I beleive it has to do with AFCAD. Any help would be appreciated,regards,Max

Hi AllI'm looking for a paper-based collection of recently outdated FAA/USA Sectional charts for use in simming but I don't want to pay $7.25 each for them which is the cheapest I can find.Ideally, I would pay a single fee and get a copy of each of teh sectional charts either by region of the country or the complete set. I would like to know which freeware panel is the best to use with the Project Opensky Boeing 747-400 version 3.As an ALTERNATIVE to the above (I would really like to try out both options!):I have bought the PSS 747 panel in the FS2000 days...it was good and in my opinion better than the default FS2K 747-400 panel. Can this be successfully merged with the POSKY 747-400? What are the most effective procedures to achieve this. I loaded the first tutorial and am trying to complete it. I am having problems performing the following items:autothrottle. I can't get this to work at all. I set the speed as instructed but nothing happens. There is a knob on the right side that appears to have a "IAS" selection. Sometimes this knob moves, sometimes nothing happens when I click it. I'm a little confused about the following at the "Perfect Flight" website (advertised on the AVSIM front page):"...Perfect Flight Adventures include realistics flight plan, Sid, Star and all well known Pf2k Adventures features. The ABL adventures, instead, finally enables the complete interaction with the FS2002 AI/ATC..."Does this mean that the "perfect flight adventure" is not ABL code, but rather the old APL adventure programming language? Doesn't this mean that the AI a/c are not displayed or even a part of the flight? Then there's a reference to "ABL adventures", but the site appears to imply that these are not as complete as the "perfect flight adventures".Thanks…

I'm looking for a flight planning system that will incorporate enroute winds. In the real world, this of course is a big deal and sometimes makes the difference in a go/no-go long-range situation. FSNAV, FSBUILD and the like are fine but unable to incorporate winds. FSMETEO does a decent job in the wind feature, but how to incorporate into a flight plan like real-world ? Some of the add-ons like RFP offer a feature for the B742 flightplanning that will allow +/- winds for fuel calculation. Sometimes, I use my company's flight plans for FS and that works fine for the heavy iron. For the lighter GA stuff, I don't have any ideas as of yet. I just finished a FSD PA42 flight …

On my system the mode select button has stopped working - making it impossible to use. I am haveing some problems with "panels" in fs2002. This just started couple of weeks ago. I pull up an panel,it is mostly covered in colored "dots" It is hard to read the instruments, although not impossable.This condition will "pop" in and out for a few minutes,once I get in the air,its a lot better.is something failing in the game,or what??Ray

Hello, I had to reformat my computer, and before I did, I had fsnavigator in fs2002 and it worked fine. But when I tryed to install it again, it worked, but fs2002 sound was gone. Does anyone know why? I do have the registered version?

Hello, I installed dreamfleet 737 (download version) for fs2000 and the update for fs2002, and when I went to use the FMC tutorial and follow its direction, a "Run-time error '5' Invalid procedure call or argument" window came up when I pressed the LSK lines. Seems like it's what all the fuss is about. (Read: Marketing impetus.)I've been complaining that FFA has barely even been considered in the program until now (or for add-on scenery for that matter). Maybe it's a boring area, I don't know! :)And if that's not it, then, perhaps, upon running 2k4 for the first time, the program will simply ask you to choose a default airport.Meigs should remain, but be bulldozed.Heck, you can still land a copter there if you like.2

Do any of you good people have ideas way the frames rates tend to go down after flying a flight for about 30 to 60 minutes. All is well at T/O with about 20 to 25 FPS then at landing and rollout the FPS goes to around 10 to 4 FPS.
