Hi everybody,Been using ACS-GPS for a long time now. (FS98, 2K and now 2K2)When I am flying in Eastern Canada the heading for my target destination will read higher than 360 degrees. Wind corrected heading is ok. For example from Goose Bay, Newfoundland to Davis Inlet, Newfoundland the heading is 381 degrees. Tried to make the same problem happen in Western Canada but the ACS-GPS gauge works ok. Anybody else notice this or is it just me? Seems to be related to the magnetic variance because if the heading is greater than the mag variance then there is no problem and the reading is ok.Thanks for any insight or input.John Cottreau

I am currently using a CH Pro Yoke and using one of the rocker switches for trim. However, this produces too mcuh trim with each tap of the switch. I am wondering if someone has a better idea for accuately timming the planes in FS2002 Pro?Thanks and best regardsRaymond

How can I put dirt on my repaints?

Do I need to edit something in the cfg file or some such thing to look out the window and see the trailing edge flaps in this amazing a/c? I get engine views from the virtual cockpit but I don't get the glorious over-wing or rear wing views and cannot figure out how to get them. Appreciate any advice, thanks!JS

just purchased the MSfs2002 pro runs great but where's all the AI traffic is it not a standard feature that you can turn on the AI or do I have to download AI from this web site

I am curious. Having a P3/800, I've always used AI sparingly. Too much of a fps hit. But I've always noted the many AI specific aircraft that have been floating around in the libraries. Do these really have a positive impact on performance over the default MS aircraft? Is buzzing around with five AI specific aircraft in the pattern doable with these AI models, like the recently released Emb-120?Regards,John

I'm not the most computer literate when it comes to the guts ;-) I'vebeen experiencing very crappy, slow graphic performance as of late, to thepoint now where I see very definate hard line of in the distance not to far.It goes from average graphics to just solid green blur (if over land). NowI had this baby humming before with crisp graphics as far as the eye couldsee, even on shore lines. Hello all.Does antone know how to get some info to Rick Sasala? I love his new A-6 Intruder and have a favor to ask. I would like to see the A-6 flight controls to be more like the real thing. The spoilers on the wings would be "flaperons", and the wing tip "speed breaks" are exactly that and should not serve as ailerons. HeyaI just got a new computer recently (AMD 1800 XP, Radeon 8500LE, 768 ram, volcano 7 fan, 2x 80 gig) but FS wont run for more than say 30 mins in full screen. What usually happens is i would go to look left or right out the window and it black screens, and freezes my whole computer. has anyone else had this problem, or am i plagued and cant play fs till next one is released? :xany help or advice would be great, as i want to fly but i cant :/

Well, after many many hours of trying to get my new motherboard to work (Epox 8rda+ Nforce2) I was unsuccessful :( I installed my new mobo and reinstalled all my hardware, but when I turned the system on there was no video signal and the comp started beeping at me. At first I thought the new RAM I got (2x512MB PC3500 Kingston HyperX) didn't work so I switched back to my generic PC2700 RAM and still no video signal. So I removed and reinstalled my video card several times, and that didn't do anything. I went so far as to take the GPU cooler off my video card and remove the silver compound I had applied, and reapplied it but that did nothing. I changed the cooler on my…

hello simmers The ariane 737 analogue panel really caught my attention with it's tempting price. Is there anywhere I can find more info about this panel a review somewhere? I found that it seriously lacking infomation on the ariane's site (http://www.arianedesign.com). Further more can I merge the panel with other gmax 737series model?VatinVTBD

Hello guys from the sunny Italy. I'm a real life pilot and of course a virtual pilot with FS2002. A couple of weeks ago I had to chance to fly the incredible 15 milions $ simulators at Alitalia and I was stunned and breathless for the A320 they have. So I wanted to buy the simulation for this airplane. I know nothing can be compared to theirs but at least I would like to study this plane. I have seen that the two chances for the A320 is PSS and Wilco. Now the question: what's the best of them? I know they are somewhat different but can you please help me to choose with your advices?I know both companies are great although I own some PSS aircraft (747-400 pro and Dash-8). …

What will all of this mean to fs simmers and me? I fly both Posky's Gmax and FFGs older 757s and I would like to add those to Century of Flight. I also fly both older models and newer models in fs2002 and I am hoping that this will be true in the new version. This programming language I don't really understand so if anyone could post some replies on the subject that would be very nice. I don't know what to believe with this new messege on the avsim front page, and compared it with the msfs webpage.

I have bought also the south photorealistic mesh scenery for Germany which is amazing,However do not buy the Airbus FLY By Wire product,It looks fancy, comes in a nice box. displays real wx terrain. that's itThe sound is ####. The model is from Project Airbus.The virtual panel looks crapp,The Fly by wire is really complicated to use.I have used the PSS A320. For the first time I had my first real crash within fs2002/winXP.After installing the nice looking/functional Saab340 panel from Igor Suprunov, FS quit without a warning, and no error description in the event viewer either. Anybody in this forum with a solution or hint what might be the problem?Airplane in use is the FFG_saab340_crossair.Fs2002/winXPpro, 512Mb Ram, P4 with quadro2 pro 32Mb video card.With Regards

We often talk about the Bells & Whistles....opening exits, movable trim tabs, virtual cabins...But I wanted to draw attention to a great aircraft which doesn't have these extras, but was recently updated to offer what I feel are very accurate dynamic wing views...Search the file library for Harald's A310--released in almost all it's variants. I recently opened a thread in the screenshots forum, and was surprised how little response it received. I've download the Czech, Air Transat, and Lufthansa liveries for the 310-304 alone. Hi All,I've searched high and low for answers this problem I'm having and now I come to you all as my last resort :-)When using the Instructor Station application I can join as a student but when ever I try and host (be the instructor) the student connects for a brief second then my session ends and then I get that XP error window apologizing for shutting down. The error log report mentions something about my system not being able to display messages from a remote system!?
