Hello all.Does anyone know what classes, procedures/functions and declarations must a DLL expose to be recognized as a module bye Flight Simulator? I'd want to develop some tools but I can't find any documentation on the web.Regards,Y. Ecarri

One of the small aggravations I have with FS ATC - is the timing of the handoff from Approach - to Tower. Although I'm licensed private, I'va had little experience with larger airports / IFR / approach control guided arrivals. Seems to me the handoff to Tower, for landing clearance & sequencing - comes alfully late in FS. At KORL, our local ILS equipped controlled field, you are usually handed off to Tower after intercepting the ILS - even below the glideslope. This occurs usually about 8 -10 miles out - on busy days at nearby MCO. Just successfully installed the Commander from FSD - beautiful plane. The main reason I am posting is that I had a "problem install" on my old antiquated system. Anyway Tim at FSD was great emailing me constantly and having me try different things, and I think even doing a few things on his end too. I just upgraded video cards from Voodoo3 to GF4 (4200) and had to do a few cleanups in registry, drivers, and ran a mcrepair utility and wallaaa!- I was able to load up the Commander! Just wanted to say thanks to Tim for putting up with my problem install and also to post just in case anyone has any problems like mine (doubtful).:-)

So you've got the PSS 777 installed? You want to use Mel's great new model with it? Well read on...I've made some changes to the PSS aircraft.cfg that allow you to fly the PSS panel and FDE with Meljet's new model. All I've done is make the changes necessary to swap the visual models. The PSS FDE remains unchanged. This means you will still get the poor glideslope capture inherent to the PSS FDE, but you will also get realistic VNAV performance as well as correct fuel predictions from the FMC.So far I've only briefly tested these changes, so if you're brave enough to give them a try let me know how you get on. I need help in trying to get the contrails to display in the King Air when flying at or above FL300. Before someone jumps in and says contrails are made only by jet engines in FS2002, what do you think is spinning those props on the King Air?I looked at the aircraft configuration files and it seems that both the 737 and King Air have the same "Effects" codes for the contrails. There must be some other line of code somewhere that tells the contrails to display when at or above FL300 "And" in a jet.I hope there is a solution to this problem and if not, hopefully it will be corrected in FS2004.Terry

AllI added up the cost of my addons and it is a small chunk of change.Some were great, some were good and some not so good. NonethelessI think many out there have been curious including myself as to what will work, what will not work, and whether some addons will have limited compatibility. Hiya all,I know this isn't the best forum but...RE VATSIM:Reading the getting started it says tht only certain sectors are online at certain times so I take it that sometimes you get ATC, sometimes not. If I am flying from EDDF to KLAX then, what happens if a sector that I want to fly over is not active? Am I left without ATC? What about NAT and oceanic clearences/reporting? Can this be done with VATSIM, you should report your position every 10 longitude so can I do this and get oceanics?Cheers

In a completely unfortunate and unforeseen manor, our web site went offline sometime Monday night just 24 hours after release of the Airbus A330-200 on Easter Sunday. To this day we are still unsure of what caused such an event but there has been little helpful response from the server company. In a drastic action we had to find a place to get the site back online for our users. I miss the Airbus 330-200 from Flightcraft, because the flightcraft website mysteriously dissapeared i can't find them anymore. Maby someone can upgrade the Airbus 330-200 downloads to this forum.I wonder what is going on with flightcraft, first they said that there was a host error, but almost 1 1/2 week later there is still no sign of the site online, so maby they pulled the site. It seems like taxiway signs comes and goes like a rare gale. I see that they've been working on KBOS for a while now and if I could just get my hands on it I would be so happy. I'm curious if anyone knows if a more user friendly version of VATSIM might be on the horizon soon? I really love the concept of VATSIM, but I find it takes forever to get it set up. Also I find the learning curve to get all of the different applications working together can be a bit akward.As well, i'm wonding why none of the programming guru's out in the community have come up with a basic FS server that works like a napster/gnutella network. I think it would be fantastic to have a dynamic web of servers that would help make one gigantic ATC/voice/online community.Any comments are welcome!

Recieved FSTrafic 2002 last week and installed it. Loved the product, so nice to finally see real airlines busing around the airports. However, I still thought it was a little sparse so I started looking around. After a short search I found Project AI and was reading the instructions for their installer. Unlike the comercial products, their installer ADDS to the traffic already on your system, rather than replacing it. I quickly (2 days later, only having a 56kbps modem at my disposal) downloaded everything PAI had to offer and installed it. Everything worked perferctly. Hai everyone,I have a problem with the engine`s off all aircraft in fs2002.When i am at 5000ft,220IAS,autopilot on,autothrottle on ,the engine`s will not be stabel but go from 50 rpm to 25 rpm and then back to 50rpm and so on.I have reinstall fs2002 on a new formated disk but the problem is all the same.Anyone knows what to do?freddy.
