What is considered to be the correct/best zoom factor for the default Cessna Skylake using the VC. I've tried many settings - 0.6 looks good for the scenery but airport/runway lighting looks like big blobs - lighting ok with zoom factor at 1 but then there is little point in having a VC.Any suggestions appreciated.Andy

My MS Flightsimulator 2002, keeps crashing, telling me, that I have an Terrain.dll fault or a atc.dll fault. A reinstalle has been tried, without any sucess. What is the problem here.KindlyJakob Arnholtz:(

Since Project Opensky does not allow any queries which could be related to PSS software, I would like to ask the question in this forum. I am just looking for some confirmation and reference to other sources of information. Good morning,Last night for the first time in... well, ever, I decided to check out Hawaii. Nice! It's an interesting flight environment, and the real-world wx was kind of amazing.. sort of my own stereotypical envisionings seemed to just pop up there.. .low puffy clouds.. gentle wind... tropical drinks.Anyway, I'm gonna keep flying there, and am hoping to get recommendations for the "must-have" library files. Hopefully someone can help with the following problem, after all a complete re-install hasn't helped.The rudder control on the planes is very erratic, in fact is more often than not stuck on full right. Sometimes I can get it back to straight, but then after a random time it will jump back to full right.The joystick is fully calibrated in Windows XP Home, with no obvious problems.In the joystick tab of FSUIPC I can set the range for max and min, but it doesn't solve the problem. I have also checked the spike option for rudder, again no success. I have noticed that the numbers in the FSUIPC boxes are not very stable (is this the problem).I am hoping that someone can hel…

Hi all, I just downloaded from today's library files a scenery program titled F13 Bravalla AFB (bravalla2-2.zip) authored by RB Design. All you get is over 200 texture files and that's it. No scenery files, read-me's, author's name, nothing.There have been over 49 downloads and I was wondering if everyone has the same problem or has heard of this author or anything at all to complete the installation.Thanks,

Hello. I'm wondering if someone can point me to a flightplan for FS2002 for Hawaiian Airlines. I found one at http://mostrealisticai.projectai.com that is supposed to be somehwat current. But, the only aircraft it has in it is a 717 & 767.I was hoping to find a somewhat current plan with their entire fleet.If anyone knows where I can find such a plan I'm all ears.Thanks,Gary

I am thinking about upgrading my machine, but am wondering if it is really worth it. My current specs are a Dell P4 1.9 (old socket), 764 megs of RAM ( or whatever that mutliple is ), TI 4200, Santa Cruz sound card. I have been eying some refurbished Dells with the 2.8 to 3 gig chips as well as their new gaming machine with the newest Intel 3.0 gig chip with Hyper threading etc. I fly: PIC 767; DF 737; IK DC-9, Flight 1 Commander, Flight 1 Cheyanne; Briefing Time. I run in multiple monitors with the second one running off an old Matrox card - only static panel pop-ups on the second monitor. I use FSNavigator, and sometimes FS Flightmax. Say your at home just on an ordinary Saturday, how will you know? Is there a phone call given or something? Once you get to the airport what do you do? I remember reading some time back and reviewing their many livers of the Fokker 50. Last I read they are looking for real Fokker 50 pilots and real Fokker 50 sounds. These aircraft have been in the works since early 2002. I am just curious to find out if they plan on delivering their Fokker 50 or if they have given up on a good looking aircraft. It also looks like they are starting on a 757. I don't know why, they didn't finish the Fokker 50, unless I have missed something along the way. Just a quick question, has anyone done a repaint for this combination? I know about the Vmax rules for submission etc, but no one has posted a user repaint of this aircraft on their website. I do have the EAL 747 from the avsim library and it is very good. I know that I could probably do a panel swap, but how about flexing wings? Any help would be appreciated.Regards Nitram

Is anyone using the MS Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro joystick with Windows 2000 Pro?? If so and you have installed the MS software SWGameEN.exe version 3.02 can you tell me how you installed the software??I downloaded it from MS but when I try, I get an error that it can`t find a file . Looking on the original software CD v v3.0 that I used OK with W.98SE I located the "missing" file but where would I place it so that the installer would find it.Alternatively is there another "profile type" softeware for W2K??Many thanksGeorge

Hi,Are there any FS addons that re-create emergencies. ie, engine fires. I know you can set FS2k2 to shut down a part of the plane within a certain time but this is not very realistic.I have searched but found nothing!Martyn
