"Terrain error factor" and "Terrain Max Vertex Level" that MS will allow in fs2002.cfg file? What are the values? I just got 38m source data for the U.S. and I want to get the most detail out of it. Again, no consideration given to frame rates....Thank you!Christopher

One thing quite dominant in real-life flying in regard to radio navigation is interference.Something missing from FS200x is realistic needle deflection due to interference; I've yet to see a VOR needle stay perfectly still the way it does in FS200x. In fact, they seem to bounce around quite a bit in real life - obviously not to the point where they're unusable though!A randomized needle bounce would be nice.. in fact, if it's possible, smooth instrument movement would be welcome.Also regarding interference, I'd love to see (hear) radio interference modeled (randomly I guess) - In real life, all types of odd radio interference are clearly audible during transmission...Last…

I downloaded the Omegas for my ATI Radeon 9700 card, but when I went to install them, the install routine mentioned that they only work in certain resolutions...and I run at 1028 x 1024. This is the recommendation for the UltraSharp 18" LCD monitor that came with my new Dell.How can I take advantage of the Omegas for flight simming? Stan

HiI have two monitors running off the same PC, one via an AGP GF4 Ti4800 card, the other one off and old PCI card. Latest offical drivers are installed. Monitor is a 21" Phillips and a 15" monitor with no brand name.The problem is if the larger monitor (running off the GF4) is enabled as the primary monitor I cannot drag the cursor over to the other monitor, however if the 15" monitor is the primary monitor then I can drag the cursor to the 21".Can anyone possinly help? I'm at my wits end, I've tried everything.And I am sorry I know this is not the most apt place for this post, but it seems I have the best chance of a good reply in here :-)Cheers

Hi,A couple of months ago I flew to an airport which is based in between high mountains. It is almost not possibleto land there. I thought it was in the nord-east part of the USA. You need to be very carefull with the landing, becausethe mountains are very close. Strange place to build and airport...Does anybody know the name of the airport? Would be great,FlyerNL

Good day folks. I have a problem. It's about panel's...For example, when I installed Eric Marciano A320 panel in a PA A320, FS2002 closed because of a error(it says that the error was maded at KERNEL32.DLL). I re-installed FS2002 with no sucess. But this is not the only panel that dosen't work. Some other's don't work aswell. I have to use Default panel :( I think it's about the VC. But I'm not very sure. If any body could help me please. :(Regards & g'day

hi,Ive had the klax simflyers scenery for awhile now and its had static aircraft at the gates along with some room for the AI. I used to remember there where to files you could download from the simflyers site one was a file to allow Ai aircraft to park in the right positions but with static aircraft still present the other one did the same thing but it removed the static aircraft. Now I look on the simflyers site and it still says there are two files available to fix the Ai parking positions, but I see only one available. Can anyone point me to where I could download the "LAX2" file (the one that fixes the AI parking positions and also removes the static aircraft include…

I was wanting to add taxi signs to our local Murfreesboro airport(KMBT) and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get started and where to go to get some information on how to add scenery and GA aircraft at this location.I have gone into AFCAD and added some parking spaces and taxiways. Hi folks,just installed latest release of Omega drivers and...here's a good one for you.After new driver installed all Riva tuner settings revert to default (as usual); what should i do at that point? Suppose i can again o/c my Ti4200 (running pretty stable at @275/530)but, what do i have to do with other settings given that during install procedure i have selected PERFORMANCE option and not QUALITY? Better to stay with default settings and ignore Riva Tuner? And, which setttings in FS2k, can i stick with my previous saved FS2002.cfg?Also, is there a site where i can download the full DX9 and not an online install?Thanks in advancefly safe ;-)Luigi

I just installed the latest Omega drivers (performance ones). I had the 30.82's installed. Now it seems that it is taking longer for textures to load, not much but it is noticeable. Does the 40.xx series drivers require DX9 cause I have DX 8.1 installed now. I am not wanting to go to DX9 cause of the inablilty to use Squawkbox with it. Thanks for any help.

I am unable to open the Douglas R4D-6NATS panel.I have loaded the wjrdc34a.zip,wjrdc34b.zil and the Jan Visser DC-3 DCA N1776 files.When I open FS2002 ,using a default aircraft (as suggested) and then select the N1776, the cockpit view shows: "Douglas DC-3 by Bill Rambow and Ray Chaffen Click a photo to choose panel"When I click nothing appears.I can hear the fantastic engine sounds,see the N1776 in Spot Plane and Tower Views ,but can't see the panel!!!The R4D instructions say to copy the contents of the Pilot folder to the "FS2000 Pilots folder"As I didn't have a Pilots folder in FS2002 I created one .I notice the files in "Pilots"are:Start-up Situation .FLT and …

In the aircraft editor it says you can use WEP and Boost like Water injection ect. Well I have no idea how to assign a key to the boost, I've searched high and low through the key assignments and there is nothing about WEP or boost. How can I assign a key to trigger the boost? Hi all, I know this has been asked before. I even found topics about this issue. Unfortunately I can't get it to work as I intend to. What I would like is the Phoenix PSS Airbus panel, including virtual cockpit, combined with the Project Airbus plane (A320 with IAE engines). I also prefer to use the PSS flightmodel, as I guess the PSS panel was built to use the PSS flightmodel? If that doesn't make sence then it's sufficient to 'just' use the PSS 2-D and virtual cockpit (IAE engines). Can anyone tell me how to achieve this?
