Hi all,Something I'm unsure about how to get in FS2002 is that gentle "rocking" you get in good low-wind conditions (5 to 10 knot winds, with gentle gusts) The low turbulence settings don't feel very realistic to me - maybe it's the flight model - and maybe it's something easily addressed.Some other sims seem to have it nailed; it feels as though the 172 (what I fly the most I guess) is just too... "solid" or something, as it doesn't rock around enough in low turbulence settings - it just juts a little bit, or there is a tiny buck and heave, and I'm rock-steady again.Also, on a somewhat unrelated note, the 172 feels too powerful, but I think I know how to fix that.Any hel…

Hi flyers!I'm sorta a newbie on FS2002 and was looking to see if you guys knew of some good step-by-step walkthroughs for some common flight sim stuff. I don't mean like real-world instructions but more like step by step with the game. What I need is some help with a VOR-only flight and perhaps a GPS IFR flight. If you have no idea, what about some links to some great FS2002 (or in general) tips regarding those navigation topics?Anyhow, I thank everyone in advance.Bob

Hello Gang!It's been a while since I've posted in this forum, but I have been checking in and out daily to see the topics, so I've been around. In any case, I have been struggling a little bit with the Air and Cfg. files available out there for the different A-330's. The Flightcraft Air and Cfg file that came with their fabulous A-330-200 are not very realistic and they represent a problem during landing because as soon as you disconnect the Autopilot after you hit the "minimums", the plane goes totally out of whack and there goes your landing. In addition, that air file is waaayy too touchy and sensitive.POSKY's Air and Cfg. file work very nice with the Flightcraft A-…

I already tried the FSD site. Any one else having prpobs with brand new install of FSD command 115? It appears the registration dialogue is not in the installer since I never get the dialogue just file missing errors after it tries to install. Anyone have this problem with the new (full) install?x(

Does anyone know any cloud packs or software that can reproduce the British dull stratus cloud types. I have tried the RealityXP but i either have broken clouds scattered all over the place because of the stupid FS weather engine or that horrible line of overcast at EXactly 10000ft no lower no higher. I just love flying on the ILS to Blackpool with a low ceiling and emerging out of the clouds to land. Hello all,Well, last evening we had the storm of all storms, and my satellite modem and dish was blitzed by lightning . . .hence my year old computer will not turn on, have checked everything, it's toast.Am thinking of new hardware. Has the new Intel Cantelwood 875P MB been released yet?If not, I'm thinking of the Abit 875P skt478ddratx, and the 3.06 P4 CPU with 1 gig of pc3500 ram. I downloaded Real Weather, without winds aloft. In certain regions, the winds are turning continously, going from 175 to 250 degrees. very annoying and unrealistic.Any solution??? Thanks.

Can anybody explain why at a few airports (KBOS, KSFO, YSSY to name but a few) some aircraft at the jetways appear in strange positions such as at right angles to the ground and about 50 ft above the ground? I am using add-on airports and have AI set at 100 percent. Is there a fix for this? Any help much appreciated.Airdog

First of all I would like to thank you for helping me set up gradual spoilers! ThanksI tried to set up my 3rd lever for reverse trust, but in joysitck assignments for axis there is no such option...? How could I do it, there is an option for it in FSUIPC, but does not respond, I got my spoilers set up tru FSUIPC to extend nicely, but can't get the revers trust figured out...Currently I have:Lv 1 for Trust (all engines)Lv 2 for Spoilers (Thank you)Lv 3 wanna be for reverse...Thanks for helpAndy

Hi all!I recently purchased the 421C Golden Eagle from Flight 1 and I have found that after a few minutes of play the external view suddenly becomes jittery!!! Initially after the aircraft loads everything is smooth as silk (P4 2.2 + Radeon 9700), but out of the blue the frames drop and not only stay low, but fluctuate between low and high in rapid intervals!This phenomenon only seems to happen from the external view. From within the cockpit, including the virtual cockpit, frames remain smooth.If there's anyone who's had this issue (especially with a Radeon 9700) and you know how to fix it any help would be greatly appreciated!!!Thanks.James

Hi guys!Have just downloaded the fantastic LLBG scenery from Chanan Epstein. It looks great but I have a large white triangle in the centre of the airport (see attached screenshot). Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas?Thanks !!Jonny

Hello guys,Just thought I would like to ask your opinion.I have a Wideviewe setup with mutiple client pc's and each one has a G4Ti4400 card that drives two monitors.The pc's are Athtlon 2000 / 256 DDR.When descending from a high altitude at a speed of 260 knots and passing around 15000 ft , the scenery starts to get blurry.When flying at low altitudes ( 5000-7000 ft ) at a speed of 280 knots there is no problem.It seems that Fs wants to load a sharper set of textures and that that the pc's cannot catch up form that moment.One time I have tried 256 extra memory in one client , but took it out when I saw that the fps stayed the same when flying at straight level.I did not m…

I did the change as obviously my GF4Ti is damaged. It has done strange things sometimes lately.Well the Radeon seems to be a little faster when you throw those quality settings against it. The picture seems to be a lot calmer, a lot less shimmering and floating. Just what I expected.But!!!!!!:When I am moving around airports (taxiing) the fps break together in a ridiculous way. I have maybe half the fps in busy airports than I had with the GF4Ti. That is ridiculous. The card seems to run o.k. during benchmarking. Settings are FSAA 2x AF 8x.The textures stuff is maxed.Am I missing something here? Drivers are Catalyst 3.1.I am extremely disappointed. I want my GF back :-(.A…

Does the CRJ has a auto throttle? I ask this cause tonight I downloaded a POSKY CRJ (Iberia) and when flying it I discovered the auto throttle botton did not work. The auto throttle does work on my other 4 POSKY CRJ's I have. I am using the same panel in all of my CRJ's (a panel made by Marco Spada)If the CRJ does have the auto throttle, what do I have to do so that the auto throttle works on my new Iberia CRJ?
