Direct X version 9a (latest)3.. nVidia offical release graphic drivers version 43.45On a Celeron 1.4 Ghz Abit BM6 based system using a Gforce 2 (32 meg) graphics board, and 512 megs of 133 Mhz System Ram I am getting incredible performance.No matter what I am doing now, whether at taxi, taking-off, in the air, landing, or sitting amongst intense A.I. movement at airports, there is no stutter, no freezes, only smooth and fabulous rendering.Fantastic animation.I have never had it so good. Flightcraft's website is either down or they pulled the plug for some unknown reason. I hope it is the former rather than the latter. Anyone know more?

Although I have been flying 2002 since it was published, I have just noticed a very odd problem with the date. I have found that when starting from the "Create Flight" dialogue [and with system time selected] FS 2002 often opens with the wrong date - and with a slightly odd time. For example, at the moment, starting with the default flight [Cessna at Meiggs etc], the create dialogue loads on 21 April and at the current UK Summer Time - ie one day early and not the time which would be the Meiggs local time.Grateful for any help in sorting out this very odd performance.

1. When I switch the rotatin beacon light switch on the top beacon light comes on and the left strobe light comes on. Then when I would switch on the strobe lights switch the bottom beacon light would come on and the right strobe light would come on. How do I fix it so that both beacon lights come on when I turn on the beacon switch? and how do I fix the strobe lights so they both come on when I turn the strobe light switch on?2. There are 2 white reconition lights at the rear of the plane, is there a way to get rid of the light that is near the bottom of the plane?3. right bugs on the airspeed indicator, any ideas? They are off by about 10 knots, and sometimes not at all. i think its only when thers clouds and when im below them, but my speedometer like bounces around. not all over the place but like maybe from 225 to 230. it may be abouve the clouds also. i was doing a CS727 flight yesterday and i had that happen. does anyone else get this?Ada,

Hi All,I just started having the problem of a god-awful noise occurring in FS. It scares me half to death when it happens, but as soon as I hit alt (I use full screen mode), it stops and I can resume flying. It is sporadic and occurs with various aircraft, and the resolution doesn't seem to matter. I installed the Radeon card not too long ago, could that be it?Thanks for any help,Todd

Hey All,I just reinstalled FS2002 and now when I select the "Create A Flight", the sim freezes. Whenever there is anything to be displayed (i.e. Plane, Scenery), the sim will also freeze. I just reformatted my hard drive, so I have a fairly fresh install of everything. Hello Gang!For some reason, all my contrails / vapour trails on all my aircraft do not show up anymore. I have installed the pertinent effects files and made the proper entries in the panel.cfg's so they automatically show up. I downloaded and installed Milton Shupe's latest Aero Commander, file name AC560AV. It's a terrific plane, but I am having one problem, and I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. I can't tune (manually or automatically) the Nav 1 radio. It seems to be stuck at 110.50. I checked the docs, but they indicate normal operation. I don't know if it's a problem with my installation, or if it is in the file itself.Joe LaBracio

I have a problem that only seems to occur at Hamburg Airport (EDDH)Any plane I choose will sink through the pavement, and since I've switched ignore crash on, it goes up and down and doesn't stop moving.It doesn't do this on the runway. Can anybody help me?

Someone in a forum mentioned using 10% fuel in the 747 for landing practice which I tried also. What a difference it makes! I always felt the landings didn't look quite right for some reason but couldn't put my finger on it but now I have. They aren't perfect yet but ALOT better! There are flap settings for speed and weight but where do you find the aircraft weight at any given point during a flight? The flap speeds are listed on the panel. In the display under fuel flow it has fuel in weight but what about total weight? Aircraft and fuel weight combined? I'm also assuming you want to land with about the 45 minutes reserve fuel onboard, right? Somewhere around there? For …
