All the LCD 17" monitors I've checked on "only" support 16.7 millions colors i.e. 24 bit "true colors". Does it mean that they cannor run FS in 32 bits and default to a lower 16 bits scheme or is FS able to run in 24 bits ?do I miss something or what ?Dominique

Help! For some unknown reason I've lost all my AI aircraft that show up as traffic in FS2002. My ACT still works OK and I can call up all my stored IFR flights and get ACT interaction. The only problem is ACT never calls any traffic even though I have my AI aircraft traffic set to 98%. I don't know how long this feature has been missing because I do not use the ACT function very often. I used to have all kinds of traffic when the sim was installed, but now, not one AI aircraft shows up on a flight. Does anyone know how I might have turned this feature off or, even worse, eliminated it?Buzz [email protected]

I just re-installed my OS, and continued after to re-install FS2002. Before re-doing my OS, I backed up all the folders that contain my months of hard work on the aircraft to my other HD (I've done this quite often - I've screwed-up Windows 4 times in the last year and a half!) . When I put everything back in, I get 'unable to load 3rd party software' errors on a fair amount of gauges that worked fine just the day before! I went in to the gauges folder, and every single gauge it says it can't load IS in there. Any ideas guys? I've gotten that message before, but it was because I actually didn't have a few gauges that the panel.cfg was looking for.Thanks in advanceScott

After installing some addons, everytime I would start a flight, I would get this error message: "Scenery library object not found", and then a whole list of nunbers. I would hit the OK button, and at least ten more such windows would show up, so I kept OKaying them until no more appeared. Then FS ran normally. Occasionally these windows would show up when changing planes.How do I deal with this annoyance?EytanTJSJ

Everytime I pushback with the default pushback, my FXX 737 goes head up and tail down. See pic. How can this be fixed? Thanks

hi allall of a sudden some of the ATC menu has stopped working..i can access the menu,but if i try to contact the tower by pressing 2,it doesn't work.if i press 5 to go back then that works??? any ideas.. thanks steve

I haven't found the answers to these questions elsewhere, so I have decided to ask the forum.1. In the FS2002 Scenery Library it askes you to specify a cache size.It only states that the more MBs in the cache, the better (smoother) your scenery will run. How much should be specified? I think the default setting is 100 MBs. I don't know what limits there are. The "empty cache on exit" box can be checked to free up hard disc space when you quit the program. This makes me think that the cache size that is available is the remaining hard disc space that you have.2. Some time ago I posted a question and got a couple of different interesting responses. My question was: Who was the first person or company to charge money for an add-on to MSFS? I found a link to MSFS's past, and I believe that I have found the answer. If the information stored in this website is infact correct, the first add-on was from BAO (Bruce Artwick Organization). My PC is an Alien Laptop P4 2.4 Mkz running on win Xp professional with SP1.When I go to the second page of multiplayer and click OK or whatever Ive got to click, the HD does nothing except spin, but it does not activate multiplayer.I installed DirextX 9.0a but that did not do anything.
