Does anyone know which airport Cessna's Citation X plant is located at?? Thanks!!

.... cause I sure as heck would like to jump forward about three weeks. This waiting is killing me.FS2002 made me a convert from the Flight Unlimited series (though I can claim to be a long-timer with MSFS since I used the early Commodore version), but FS2004 looks to be very finely tuned. The weather looks awesome, the improved ATC is going to be great, and I'm even hyped about the historic planes. What really makes me happy is that Microsoft stuck with the FS2002 engine. I've only spent about $350 on my computer in upgrades in the last 2 1/2 years, and I'm able to run FS2002 quite acceptably (fps locked at 25). I am thrilled that I am going to be able to avoid any major …

I'm experiencing serious troubles after upgrading my Windows 2000 installation with the latest "Service Pack 4" (SP4) from Microsoft. So anybody planning on upgrading make sure that you at least install with the "archive" option allowing to go back to the previous state in case of problems. I didn't and am stuck with these errors:- Developers: GMAX consistently creates corrupted files under W2K/SP4, this has been reported by a number of users and communicated to Discreet. Bottom line: GMAX stops working under W2K/SP4!- Users: Using Eric Marciano's great A320/330 panel consistently crashes FS2002 after some minutes of FMC operation which did not happen pre-SP4. Bottom line…

Back in the day when FS2000 was the newest version of flight simulator, the web site (which no longer exists) had a link to an "Around the World Flight". Microsoft set the route, including recommended planes, waypoints, airports, etc., and you flew it. It was pretty cool, and I wanted to give it another try with FS2002, but I can't seem to find it anymore since the FS2000 site redirects you to the FS2004 site. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the route?John.

I've done a search of the forum and I haven't found any details on AI traffic at uncontrolled aiports.I'm wondering how many planes are typically found at uncontrolled airports in FS2004. It seems like even just a couple of planes at every uncontrolled airport would lead to an exponential increase in the size of the traffic.bgl file (and a corresponding decrease in frame rates). So, did they just put traffic at the larger uncontrolled airports? If I fly from, for example, Thun Field in Puyallup, WA (1S0), will there be any traffic in the pattern, or will I have to use an add-on to put it there? Does the traffic at uncontrolled airports use position reports and proper proc…

All,I almost fell into this entire mess. I've been simming since my father came home with FS4 one day when I was 9 years old. I jumped on out 386 pc and started playing. Fell in love with the sim and even took the ATP route (great sceneries). Now I find myself investigating FS2004 downloading and had to say to myself, " What in the heck are you doing?" Sure, FS isn't coming out for a couple of weeks but it is worth the wait.I had to post this. TP

Apologies if anyone has already asked this question. I notice from the microsoft literature that FS2004 has improved multiple screen support. Does anyone know what this means? I have tried running multiple screns (3 screens) through a Matrox Parhelia on FS2002 and even though it was simple to set it up I kept getting jaggies whenever an airport came into view. I also successfully had wideview running on 3 pc's and 3 screens but found the time to get everything in synch took forever and my study started to feel like a sauna. I am hoping that FS2004 either solves the problems on the Matrox or has another way of running multiple screens from one processor.regardsBrad

Hello guys, what are your opinions on who has the better model? I did a test flight today and I have the feeling that the flight dynamics of the IFDG model seem more realistic (rotating was fairly easy on the POSKY compared to the IFDG model and the POSKY flew much more like a light 737 instead of a nearly fully loaded 767 heavy). That's my opinion.I didn't like the 757 flight dynamics of the IFDG model much (but beautiful exteriors!). What are your opinions on the 757?Greetings,Star Alliance

After trying out fs 2004 for the first time today I must admit I am very impressed. I have an athlon xp 2200 1gb of ram geforce 4, and my fps are better in fs2004 then in 2002, and the graphics look alot better in 2004. So those of us with slower machines I guess this is good news, if anyone has questions I will try my best to answer.

Hi all,I'll be travelling to New York on the 26th July, and leaving on the 29th at night, so I thought I would buy it on the day it comes out on the US, better than having to wait until August in Europe. My question is:Where to you think I can get FS2004 on the 29th in Manhattan? Is there any store known to have it on the 29th?Thanks,http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/3100.jpg___________________________________________________ Lu

Maybe I just missed it, but now that it's gone gold has anyone confirmed that the majority of airports have taxiway signs or is there still a need to create your own.

Hello folks, A couple of people asked me the progress of the B-717 and the progress rate is 5%.The reason we only have 5% done is because we lack designers and if you would like to join, please visit www.Project-SkyWorks.vze.com or contact James @ [email protected] .Thanks! Hi you lucky beta testers for 2004 ...>.!!Could you tell me/us if FS2004 has the same "expanding" of the runway lights when you switch from 2d panel view to no panel view.Always thought it was a little weird the size of the lights when you used full screen / no panel view......Thanks in advance to anyone who knows....!!!

Hi,I have about 186 ADDON scenery for FS2k2 and wonder if I can just move them over to FS2k4 when I have it without loosing a scenery or have to edit the listing very much. Same questions goes with aircrafts. I have 80% of GMAX aircrafts and can I just more and then fly them all to FS2k4?

Hello,I'm in possession of the FS2004 press beta (and no, i'm not a pirate, rather an official MS press program member). I would like to ask someone who may already have the gold version, this question: I've observed that my version only uses multiple rwys with parallel runway configurations. Thus, in my experience, airports such as EFHK with non-parallel multiple rwys only use one at a time. Has this changed in the gold? Geofa, anyone???

Hi guys,I was wondering what Microsoft are like with release dates? Not having ever been 'in waiting' for a Microsoft product before, I was just wondering if 29th July (or in my case 8th August over here in the UK) is likely to be a reality for seeing FS2004 released.I only ask as every other game I've bought during the last year has been anything from two weeks to two months late. Did FS2002 arrive on its intended release date? I can't really remember! You lucky lucky people across the pond will be marvelling at those fantastic weather formations from the right hand seat of a Lear or a DC-3 for about ten days prior to me getting my hands on FS2004. Hopefully my patien…
