I have a new computer and alienware 3.0ghz with 800fsb, 512mb pc2700 upgraded to 1 gb, Win XP, ati 9800, sound blaster audigy 2. It is a high end system but I have twice gotten an out of available memory and FS will shut down message. I never had this problem with a sony P4 1.3 ghz with 512mb, Win ME. I have no idea what to do. Can anyone shed a little light on this.Thanks in advanceAndrew

Hello, I just downloaded and installed Mr. Probst's excellent new 727 panel. I have encountered one small issue after installing it however:1)the simicon that should open the overhead panel(not the lighting but the main overhead)isn't active.2) the overhead gauges show up when i press shift+7, bt there is no background bitmap.when i opened the panel .cfg to see what there was, the overhead panel refers to a bitmap, that isn't included in the zip file. the only bmp. file is the up.bmp and if I modify the .cfg fie to point to this bmp., some of the gauges appear in the wrong place.Has anyone else experienced this problem? or did i get a corrupted download? …

I have been in school in asia and europe for the last year, so my flight sim experience has been now almost forgeotten. Now that I have actually been able to come home and relax....for bit..I have reinstalled the software and am trying find some help. There was some software some-where out in cyber_land that could download a fleet of all kind of aircraft to you with out having to serch. Is that software still out there? Please helo!!!

the city gets a lot of grief, or used to, but I was impressed with what I saw and the city seems to be a pretty happening place...anyway, they have a nice dock area next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and next to that is a Coast Guard station and the Burke Lakefront airport. The airport looks very similar to Meigs Fields, which made me think it would be a nice default replacement since Meigs was torn up...would be nice if we had an add-on scenery for the area as the RnR Hall of Fame is not shown in FS2002 scenery...

Just wondering, all the pics I've seen show a woman in the left seat- is this an option that can be changed? I'm guessing most simmers are men (large majority), and to me seeing a woman at the yoke in spot view sort of takes away from the "as real as it gets", rather than a generic male. If a woman is the set pilot, I wonder what the developers were thinking in making that choice?Best,Joel

Hi,For some strange reason, the propeller lever of my CH yoke doesn't allow me to move it in its full range in the FS2002 aircraft... It seems to have a limited motion and cannot be pushed forward or pulled backward all the way.I tried to calibrate the device with the latest version of the CH manager...without results.I'd love to get some advice if anybody has an idea...ThanksTwister

You guys ever experience this? I think I have just once. I even remember the airport...San Diego in a 737. Everything just came together. Right on power and glide slope. I couldn't really tell I had touched down it was so smooth. It just felt perfect. Most of my landings are fairly decent, but that one was special. It makes it challenging trying to repeat that.Todd

I'm not normally a payware afficianado, but could be convinced to buy this one. I fly C152s here in COS (I77 actually, field elevation around 6800 ft)If anyone has this plane yet, I would be curious on a "pirep" flying out of I77 (Meadowlake) on a nice hot summer afternoon (or warm summer morning for that matter). Cessna 150 pilots get pretty good at thermalling here, or take off at reduced weight, or, when really hot, don't fly. If you get a climb rate over 500ft/min, it's way overpowered. My current model (a "detuned" Carenado model) climbs about 200-300fpm in the summer. DAs get up over 9-10K here regularly. The only 152 I know that gets the higher climb rate is the 12…

Upgrading my system in anticipations for FS2004.What do most people use now. Windows XP or XP PRO.There is a $100 price difference for the PRO version.Any comments are appreciated

The Tower View on some airfields appears to be nowhere near the tower but appears to be a view from somewhere completely outside the airfield.I have actually had instances where this view has appeared to alter and revert to the proper tower view , but I don't know how it came about.The proper tower view is best for viewing replays of landings etc.Does anyone have any idea how to toggle this view between the two options? I have tried the view options menu but it just comes up with one tower view option.;(
