Im not sure if this problem is a result of me having FSUIPC and Ive looked through all the options in the module. I want to know why I only get stratus cloud formations in real weather downloads - i've noticed this loads of times and its not a one off - its worldwise. Can anyone explain this and how to fix this. I want to do a longhaul tomoorow (NZAA-KLAX-EGLL) and it will be a bit rubbish with just stratus. ThanksJohn

Hi,Has anyone found a way to tune the radio(s) in this plane? The needles turn, indicating that the radios are tuned to something, however I can't find any way to set in any VOR or ADF frequencies.I do hope it's possible because I love flying the plane, but it's almost impossible to know where you are without utilizing FSNavigator - but that's almost cheating.John

I would like to post this in the FSD Forum but it is blocking my attempts. Not to worry. In my load manager for the Seneca the engine hours do not seem to increase by the same time the engines run in FS ? If the flight is one hour the time shown in the load manager usually increases by a much smaller amount. Sometimes the total engine hours does not increase at all. My theory so far is that something I do in FS might "flow on". Has anyone else noted this ?

Can any of you who have flown FS2004 comment on the two provided Garmin GPSs. In particular, are they easy to read, and how tough is the learning curve to feel comfortable using them?A totally unrelated question: Has the blurry texture issue from FS2002 been resolved? Thanks for any and all info.Bob K

Hi,I would like to find out whether or not FS2004 has any of those old, reallllly simple buildings that they had in FS98, FS2000, and FS2002. They can update the whole world and most of their aircraft, and they havent done the buildings and structures yet? lol... so I just wanted to know if they still have those of if all the buildings have been updated? If its not too much trouble, could you supplement with a couple screenshots? A great example is those *horrible* white hangars that you see at Moffett Airfield in California, that came all the way from FS98... and most of the airport towers, etc. Thanks in advance

Hi,I have developed a fault whereby the throttles are stuck in the quarter on position and always return to that setting, i,e willnot return to zero. Has anyone any idea how I can resolve thisissue please?? The only time they work correctly is when the auto speed setting is deployed. any ideas would be greatly appreciatedYoursJohn

I've been watching this forum for a while now, looking for (and drooling over!) every shot from FS2004 I could find. I've seen many comments in reply to these shots, with a very large majority very positive and a few who have (mostly) pointed out some deficiencies carried over from earlier versions. With all that, I'd like to perhaps summarize (VERY briefly) some of what I'm seeing overall that I think will make FS2004 a giant leap over FS2002 (which was a giant leap above FS2000, believe me! :-hah). I'm wondering how many have picked up on some of these few points, and you might want to go back for a second look-see :-).A few points then:1) Roads at night have lights a…

I've been impressed with the group of beta testers that have identified themselves recently. Great to see so many talented simmers selected by MS to give the new product a go-round ! I see MS's involvement of the beta crew as a real plus, and sign of respect for the level of sophistication our simming community has developed over time.Question, I don't recall many (if any) "outside" beta team members being selected on earlier versions ? I'm sure their were some, but seems like MS selected many more for this upgrade, and previous releases were kept much more "internal" to MS ? Just curious if any of those involved could share a comment on this - and if the beta proce…

Would current users please comment on how big an improvement various landclass updates (new england freeware in library, FSGenesis, others?) provide over default landclass? In practice, just how large do landclass 'tiles' appear in FS (couple of square miles, much smaller or larger than that?) Justin, is there a way to get some more before and after shots of your US landclass 103 in 2k2 and 2k4? Thanks for any info!sg

Hi All,I've got a question on the terrain mesh setting. What impact does keeping terrain mesh at a low level- say 50-60% - if you fly predominantly over very flat areas? In particular, I now do most of my flying over South Florida (using the excellent land class files available in the library). I'm trying to squeeze out all the FPS I can, and know from flying in more mountainous regions that the mesh slider has a big impact.I guess there are two questions here. First, over very flat terrain, what impact on visuals does setting mesh low cause? I've done some tests but can't be sure if changes I'm seeing are due to the low slider setting or my imagination. And conversely, do…

Quick question here for those who have BOTH FS2002 and ACoF (legal gold version) on the same machine please. I'd like to know if you can install and run both side by side from the same machine (not simultaneously). When I get ACoF, I might want to keep 2002 on for a short time till some of the aircraft and scenery get patched for ACoF.Thanks much,Glenn

>and do a flight from there all the way>to KPWT (Fresno, Ca. to Bremerton, Wa.) and tour Puget Sound.Watch out for the TFR at Bremerton... oh yeah, wait, that's another benefit of simulated flying. No AI F-16s to hunt you down ;-)I'll take the Eaglesoft Beechjet, load up real weather and go from Boeing Field to Bozeman Montana IFR
