What and where are they so I can delete them.I was not able to do UNinstall so I had to delete the files manually. I ran defrag, and now I want to delete all the Registry files from Start->Run->REGEDIT-> then what? and which files should I look for?Thank you.

Hello all. I have MSFS-2002 pro. I must admit I haven't used it in a very long time. My system is ancient by today's standards. Athlon 1.4 512mram, Geforce 3, Winxp pro,.....I have a real desire to get back into Flight Simming but I'm unsure if the new MSFS-2004 might be a bit much for my antiquated rig.Does FS-2004 bring much more to the table that I should really try to fly that? Or would FS-2002 pro be good enough for someone re-introducing himself to flight simming?If FS-2002 is the better choice for me, what free downloads would you suggest I get? Hello,I was just wondering if any of you think there will be any problems having both FS2002 and 2004 installed at the same time on my computer?I will have them on different hard drive partitions. I have so many FS2002 add-ons and it is tweaked perfectly, that I don't want to remove it.Do any of you think that there will be any problems using both versions? I've got a 3 monitor set up. The main monitor and a secondary are being run by the same GF FX 5900. The third is being run by an ATI Radeon 7000. This setup worked very well for me in FS2002, and I could drag panels to any given monitor. Now, with FS2004, I can still drag panels, but when I attempt to return to full screen mode, I have problems. If I drag a panel to the monitor run by the Radeon card, all haze, etc. disappears from the main monitor! If I drag a panel to the secondary monitor on the GF card, the both displays flash and/or go black when I try to return to full screen mode.Anyone seen this before?

Well im german and i have the american flightsim 2004. Nice game so far, i really like it. But when it came to lesson 5 of the private pilote lessons, i was asked to push ctrl+]. On a german keyboard there is + where ] should be, and ] is done by pressing AltGr+9... Hope you got the point. Any ideas? Please help!!!Thxhatkai

My specs : P4 1.9/512RAM/GEforce2 MX400/XP. PC is 18 months old so I know the video card is way behind. Nonetheless my first impressions with FS2004 with default settings and real world weather is very poor. Frame rates around clouds down to 4; like a slide show. Point is, all the reviews and hype must have been on a state of the art system, so if you have anything close to mine, save your money and dont get 2004. Of course if you want to chase MS and get new hardware then by all means. Better video cards are $300 plus, and they are all having some kind of problem with 2004 from what I am reading.I remember beta testers for 2000 said clouds were 3D in beta but was release…

What is the best video driver for FS2004 for a GeForce3 Ti500 card with WinXP? I went to guru and could not find one for that card. Should I update to DX 9.0b before, or after, the new driver installation? Thanks, Bob.

From what I have read over the last month or so, FS2004 performs at least as well as FS2002 (in the case where the two sims are compared at the equivalent settings - which of course means in the case of FS2004 some niceties need to be turned off or sliders moved further left).I'm just wondering if a major reason for this might be that the actual scenery objects have been significantly overhauled and / or replaced? Can anyone else confirm they are getting this issue?I'm flying in the U.S. western intermountain region where ground elevations are typically around 4,000 ft. ASL.I'm seeing cumulus clouds that extend out of the ground, meaning their bases are sitting at ground level. When I tune ATIS or ASOS/AWOS at local airports, I hear reports of clouds at -900 ft. What's up with that? :-lol I'm running the real weather 15 minute update setting and I have the weather dynamic set to minimal.It appears the weather engine is trying to build cumulus clouds without reference to where the ground level is. If I was at sea level, the bases would be at 3,100 feet, which seems normal. I can't …

I just bought FLIGHT DECK III for Fs2002 and the aircraft animation,catapult lunch and cable-grabbing system is awsome. It took me a while to stick the landings with my Lago F-16. Any ways after flying around and practicing manuvers and landing on the USS George Washington it suddenly dawned on me. Where is every one?? There are no other aircraft on the carrier no animated flight plans of any landings or takeoffs! So would it be neat if we saw aircraft coming from the bottom level being transported to the top? Hello all,I am planning on a new computer system and have the option of installing a 64MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce4 MX

After downloading the new FSUIPC v3.0 I started ActiveSky wxRE v1.86. Then started FS2004 et voila, I got the real weather at EHEH (which I could verify with my own eyes). Switching FS2004 to Seattle (KSEA) and verified the weather there through Wunderground.com. Correct!Then I tried FSMeteo v5.1 but no luck. The program kept waiting for FSUIPC while FS2004 (with FSPUIC) was running. Just today, I tried to do a flight, after it working for months and months. I tried almost all of my different aircraft, but none of them would turn on the ground. They all went straight. They can turn fine once in the air, but they won't turn on the ground or during taxi. Can someone help me on how to fix this? It's not my joystick, because it works fine, but in the game, the keypad won't work either, so it has to be the flightsim.

Hi all. I have been fiddling with the weather settings and am tying to make sense out of a few things. Just curious what others have heard/observed?1. How does the dynamic rate of change slider interact with real weather? Under what conditions does the weather change? That is to say, if I am using the static "snapshot" real weather, will the weather slowly change over the same place over time? On the other hand, if I use the 15 minute update weather, how will the rate of change slider affect things each time the weather is updated? I have two planes that work in FS9 without any error messages. They fly very well. 1. Realair Marchetti - Completely funtional w/e of No spins yet.2. Iron Knuckls DC8 - Completely functional w/e can't start engines manually. Just hit cntrl E and away they go. The GPS does not work, however, a simple cut and past from an MS big jet into the panel config and it works fine. Please copy then paste any plane you have found that work. Maybe we get a quick list of what is compatible so far. Thanks.BobP :)
