OK This has been bugging me ever since I put the new MelJet 777's into ACOF. When I look to the left side of cockpit I stare into the wall and flightdeck door!.Since I'm not a lucky owner of Active Camera 2004, does anybody have the viewpoint numbers to change and put into the panel folder?I tried searching but couldnt find anything about this..Side question; Is there a way to get ActiveCamera 2002 to work in FS9? My sim closes when i get passed the splashscreen.

What is the third METAR display window used for (the one with the scrollbar)? Is that for reporting the current conditions in the sim due to changes made by FS2K4's dynamic weather?

i fly at night a lot and man that gps is very bright, any way to tone this down a bit?thanksciao!Brian S

GEt third party landclass to exclude the ground scenery around the enhanced defult airports (JFk PHX and the like?) I'm using third party landclass and I lose teh aerial photo tiles that lie under thse airports, and would like to keep them, as they make a real difference when flying into these airports.Tim

First off has anyone heard from The Project Airbus guys lately? Also back when Keith's Vitual Helipad was still active there was a pice of scenery there that I have not been able to find. It was for Tampa General Hospital right out side of downtown Tampa, Florida. If there is a place that I can still get it or someone can zip it up for me and email it to me I would be grateful. Ok now this is true torture for me. I buy the game install my new hardrive which gives me a fit with its desire to reformat my computer to fat32. Then I get MSFS9 running. Its great. I love it. I install some old planes that are GMAX. Then out of the blue I click on the MSFS icon and no start. It just shows that first halfscreen initiation screen and never leaves it. Sits there hourglassing forever if I let it. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling. Everything. Nothing is working I am desperate. In another forum , I posted that I had, at age 57, done my first hands-on flight in an ultralight ( a larger mini-Cessna type Aussie a/c) and posted my thoughts and emotions experienced .I have reflown the same flight using FS2002 and have discovered that it left me completely flat, cold and unenthused. With my nvidia geforce 5600fx ultra card I was not seeing 2d panels in full-screen mode using the latest sanctioned nvidia driver (44.03).I installed the 45.20 beta driver and am now getting 2d panels and pop-up panels (GPS etc.) in full-screen mode with no problems so far. It also corrected the "screen goes to black" syndrome when accessing the main menu.I hope Nvidia comes out with an official version of this driver soon.Bob K

My system is having performance issues when I run 3d clouds. If I use Pete Dowson's fsuipc file to limit visibility to 30 instead of the default 60 miles, will that make a difference as long as I have clouds set at 30 miles?ThanksRoger

i have been using active sky wx and also just default updated wx in fs2004 (not at the same time, one or the other) and i also have a registered ver. of fsuipc, latest ver.ok, so the clouds, form slowly but i noticed that the visibility changes quickly jump from one to another.. like i was flying in seattle area and it was low vis then all of a sudeen poof, 15miles vis. i thought that stuff was suppose to be gradual, do i not have something not setup correctly in fsuipc? or anything else??thanksciao!Brian S

If I choose to bypass the opening screen is it possible to access the Scenery Library from within FS9? In FS2002 one could use the World Menu and then Scenery Library but this does not appear to be an option in FS9.Thanks for any help,Ted

Hi, is there a way to fix the view in 2d panel mode so that when, for example, I look left, the view will stay there even after I release the hat switch? I hate it when it goes go back to the front view. ThanksRoger

Hi, I have a private 737-200 and would like ATC to call me by Boeing and then my aircraft reg number, Is there a way to do this? It seems that FS2004 does not have Boeing in the airlines callsign list.Thanks,Bill

I have installed Mike Stones Beech B1900D FS2K2 Gmax in FS9 and everything seems to work Great, but I did notice that I did not have good cruse or climb power. In FS9 it will only go around 210 knots.My question is can this be fixed in the Aircraft.cfg or is this a model problem?Also are there any problems using any older non gmax models?I'm going to make the transition slow but it looks good for now.Any help would be great!Thanks in advance.

Project Majenta charges a house mortgage for their gauges and they are not offering a complete flight simulator!!! At $55.00US we are getting a product that is imperfect yes, that all cannot use equally, yes again, but a product that tries to perform on the average for the vast majority of us simmers. It must be a relative nightmare to code this program in such a manner when there must be several million permutations and combinations of hardware/software that we simmers use. On August 2, 2003 I had the honor and priviledge of getting to spend several hours with this magnificent bird. Add to this the fact that it was G-BOAD, the very same plane that set the Transatlantic record. When I thought it could get no better...I get to meet Captain Leslie Scott, Pilot for that and many other flights. He spoke of facts and figures for the plane as well as posing for a picture and signing my Concorde retirement certificate !!. Just saw a new program called FSConnect uploaded. From the readme file, it appears to be somewhat similar to FSUIPC, though I doubt if it can be used directly as a substitute. Even comes with what looks like SDK information. It would be interesting to see if anyone can make use of this. John Fitzpatrick

I don't know if this would be technically possible, but on the face of it I think it might be. What would you think of an addon that would replace the 'progressive taxi' lines with a follow-me car coming to pick you up and guiding you to your gate? It has been done before by Oliver Pabst in his Bremen scenery for FS2002. Imagine if you could have that option available in every major airport. Select 'progressive taxi' in the ATC menu, wait and after a short while the follow-me car appears and drives along the now invisible purple arrows to the gate ATC has assigned to you.We'll probably have to wait until MS publishes the SDK's for FS9 to find out if it is at all possible.…

I really hate to admit it, but I used ATC for the 1st time in FS2004. I didn't use it much in 2002 because I just enjoyed flying VFR and IFR using the GPS and "direct to" button. I flew from KABE, Lehigh Valley (Allentown,Pa.) to Washington Dulles in the new Lear. I really had a successful flight in spite of myself. I used the new GPS, filed a flight plan, and used ATC. I requested a runway, 19R, and it took me right there with no waiting or delays. However, although ATC sets your comm. frequencies as you request, DOES IT ALSO SET ILS FREQUENCIES AUTOMATICALLY, OR DO YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY SET THESE YOURSELF?
