I've been downloading loads of FFX 727 but there are no FS9 specific 727 sounds or panels. I'm kinda new to this forum, so please be gentle! :)I have searched and searched on avsim.com, flightsim.com and am finding some beautiful repaints for both FS2002 and FS2004, for the FFX/SGA Boeing 727. I seem to be able to ONLY find repaints. Does anyone know where I can get the BASE files please? They are NOT available on either of these sites. If they are, they aren't showing up in the searches, or maybe I'm looking for the wrong thing. Any help would be appreciated.Either email me, or send me a good link.Thanks.Capt. Wes

I just did my first test flight in the gorgeous FFX/SGA Southwest B733 using the default MS 734 panel. All went great but I observed a fairly constant and moderate surging of N1 when reducing speed on descent below 10,000 feet and during the ILS intercept and approach. This destabilized the speed by about 4 to 8 knots at lower altitudes. I disconnected the AP and AT at 1000 AGL and landed fine manually. This is a superb visual model and it seems to fly very well except for this thrust surging. Is this a known feature and is there a fix for this?Appreciate posts, thanks!JS

I am encountering some problems getting ILS to work. I can do the actual landing in the lessons, because Im already established on the localizer, and I sort of understand how the needles work. My problem is how do I get established on the localizer? When I try to land outside of the lesson with ILS nothing happens. I have an IFR flight plan filed, and follow all the ATC commands and handoffs, but the needles dont move at all, even when I am flying on the localizer heading, and the panel marker lights dont light up either. After ATC tells me to expect vectors for ILS, nothing else happens. If I stay on the last heading they give me, I just end up flying past the airport. I…

Help!Everytime I try and create a high altitude airway flight plan from Toronto to Europe, the flight planner adds some strange waypoints which take me to the northern coast of South America before sending me on to Europe. I'm sure it wasn't designed this way, but that's is what it is doing. I usually only have the JET ROUTE button checked. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CORRECT THIS SO THAT I GET A MORE DIRECT ROUTE?Tapa340

Hi All In the library there is the above mentioned panel which will only work in FS2002. Does any one know how to tweak it so it will work in FS2004,or if a update is in progress. Thanks in advance Shaun

I know the PSS guys are crashed for the night. I just wanted to see if anyone else is missing the panel that goes with the A340 package. I tried it for both FS2002 and FS2004 and it's the same issue.

I just downloaded Norway Airpors v8 (just for Oslo-Gardermoen) Now Gardermoen looks great, but when Im on the runways the planes wheels sink into the ground (they sink 3/4 down or more) this does not happen on the taxiways or parking areas. Is there anyway I can fix this? I was going to email the guys who made the scenery, but couldn't find the email address in the readme file.

I know this has been mentioned before but I've not been able to locate the original post so apologies for the repeition...........Has anyone worked out how to get other traffic to show beyond 10 miles when flying online using FS9/SB Relay/SB/FSUIPC?Checking the 20/40 mile options in SB has no visible effect.Is this the fault of SB not being fully compatable with FS9 or is it FSUIPC? Can someone point me in the direction of a good A319 and A321 for FS2002 and FS2004? I prefer freeware, but if there is no freeware A319 or A321 I will look into getting payware one.

Hi, everyone.Many pilots have asked me if the IFR Check ride can be satisfactorily completed, and after I spent some time trying what I knew that would work in real life, and never got it, I decided to look at the code and see if it was sound. The code looked like it was written by a 12 year old that had nothing better to do in his spare time, but the logic / flow chart, looked correct, except for some of the error checking. I hope this guy never gets into Medical instrumentation, or other fields where lifes depended on it. Hey,I was using SBRelay to play online with FS9. I followed all the instructions on the vatsim.net homepage on how to set it up. For some reason I notice that when I run HOSTSB.dll from inside FS9 I get a fairly drastic FPS drop. When I run SBHost.exe then SBMain.exe with FS9 minimized it seems to be better... however... After starting SBRelay, then starting FS9 multiplayer and minimizing it to startup SBHOST.exe and SBMAIN.exe from the desktop, after I connect I can not get back into FS9 no matter what I try (Alt-Tab) ect. It works once and a while but I was wondering why it does that or if there is a better way to use HOSTSB.dll from inside FS9 without such a hit on FPS…

hi there,i just got fs9,and i was wondering what the best drivers might be for my geforce4 ti 4200 128mb..this videocard is mounted in an AMD 1800 xp,soltek mobo,256mb ram,win98 os.so far i've tried the 29.42 and 45.23 from nvidia's website,but it just does not feel right...every slider is at min,and it still stutters.so,advice on the drivers you guys have the "best" performance with,or feel the best about,is very much appreciated.and:i just love that dc3....ms finally made some really great planes imho ;-)

I have got over most of my gripes about FS9 and have now settled down to learning how to fly it properly. But I do miss some classic 2k2 aircraft. Amongst them is Milton Shupe's fantastic -7. Does anyone know whether Milton has upgraded the aircraft for FS9. I would be grateful to know,as it is one of the best add-ons ever and flies closer to the real world than almost any other,commercial or freeware. I would like to be able to carry on enjoying the great challenge of landing it short of a steep approach.
