When I installed FSUIPC308, I noticed the function of changing the frequencies does not work anymore. The cursor does NOT change into a functioning hand, it just stays as an arrow. Once I removed FSUIPC everything worked fine.Do I have to change anything withing the FSUIPC module to get that function to work?Would appreciate any help.Thanks.Abe

Hi Guys,I just purchased the Megascenery USA: Los Angeles scenery. It is a fabulous package. I have a PIV 2.8GHz, 1Gb DDR 400, Radeon 9800 Pro system, and have been able to run with extremely dense autogen and 60 mile full 3D clouds at 1600x1200 getting for the most part low 20 fps. Now over the gorgeous Megascenery areas, I get mid 30's pretty consistantly with the frame rate unlocked and the same settings. Is unlocking the framerate recommended for high end systems? I thought it was a bad idea, because it would starve other processes out.I've noticed that major 3-D landmarks are displaced from their satellite photo 2-D versions. Is there a way to fix this problem?…

Well, on day two of using the new sim, I'm pleased to report that the "Red Arrows" series put together by Mikko Maliniemi, Kari Virtanen and Mark Beaumont ALL work in FS2004, with full animations and no apparent problems. This includes the single FSDS aircraft, the full Diamond Nine in FSDS and the latest GMAX four, of course.You may get an error message the first time you load them up - I did, and hit NO to "disabling unsupported features" - and all ran just fine. There were no unsupported features. The aircraft look very crisp in the FS2004 colour tints and are, as usual, a blast to fly.You'll need to copy the gauges across, of course, as well as the aircraft themsel…

Is there anyway a user can adjust the amount of glass reflections show up in Fs2004? A lot of the aircraft I have look like the windows were blown out. I noticed some developers countered this by tinting the glas a little like in Caranados Cessna 210. I have the FSD Cheyenne and windows don't show up at all. Is there any easy fix for this or do we need to wait for a patch from Microsoft or the Aircraft delevopers.Rob

Well.. seen some posts that are knocking FS9 and so I thought I'd just post this little note to say I think FS9 is bloody excellent!!!!!! I spent several hours last night just flying some circuits and messin' about and I have to say, it runs beautifully and looks great. I haven't even flown a full-blown flight plan yet, I was having so much fun just flying the new planes and messing with the new cockpits, etc. The improvements over FS2002 really show. A few extra payware planes, FSNavigator, UK2000 scenery, VFR scenery and LAGO Mesh installations and it'll be perfect.Couldn't ask for more. Happy fella here :) :) :)Si.

HiI am getting terrible frame rates with FS2004 compared with FS2002. With the same settings that I had with FS2002, I used to get 18-23 F/S where as with FS2004 I only get 5-7! Am I doing something wrong?Pentium III 1 GHz512 RAMGeforce 2Stelios

I've enjoyed their Beechjet and Premier for a while now... And I knew they were coming out with a Citation X.... But I stumbled into a post at flightsimnetwork about a Citation II coming soon... Help! Help! Ive fallen and I can't find my beer!I Just installed Project AI and United Airlines of FS9 and when I went to the airport, to my horror, the planes were there, but parked on bare ground with a tan footprint of the airport in it. Ditto for the runways! I put in a eallynice rendition of KDIA for 2k2 by Harold Krause but the frame rate tanked and the runways still weren't there.Can anyone think of what might have happened and how I might make it all better?Jim [email protected]

Hi all,Does anyone how to fix the real weather problem when stations are reporting unrestricted Visibibilty in the European format? You know, in the USA, V10 means unrestricted. Here, 9999 is unrestricted, and the simulator sets visibility to a little below 10 statute miles on sunny days. This happens when you obtain real weather from airports across europe. Not across america. It didn't happen in FS2002.I can't get it to work.Cheers,Rafa.

Call me insane *:-* but I have embarked on a cross-Canada trip from Victoria to St Johns in the old Ford Trimotor. I love this plane.I just completed my first leg - Victoria to Princeton, BC.Hope I can stick with it. I can only give it a bit more than an hour a evening, so it'll definitely take some time.I may need some moral support in the future!Anyone out there who has done similar trips and is willing to give advice, please do.I'm going to record legs, time, fuel consumption. Gonna aim to visit all the major Canadian cities along the way, as well as smaller ones naturally. Any other suggestions?Adam

Hi Guys,I have a quick question regarding a missed approach on FS9 when flying VFR. Yesterday I was flying my VFR flight plan, and as I approached my destination airport, I opened up the ATC window, chose "nearest airport", and selected my destination. I was then cleared for landing straight in.Well, it was very foggy, and I was not lined up properly, so I wanted to declare a missed approach and go around. I went to my ATC window, but there was no option to declare a missed approach, or request a go around. I've seen it with IFR flying, but not with VFR. So, ATC held all traffic until I flew the pattern back, and landed.What am I doing wrong?Thanks in advance,JD

Hi. the _notes file for the AC 680S gives the max range as 1400NM. I'm having trouble getting even half of that. It's kind of important to me as I'm trying to plan a flight across the South Atlantic.So basically my question is, has anyone actually been able to get over 1000NM range out of the AC680S? If so, then I'm doing something wrong and I'll go back and try again. But if nobody else can do it then I can stop trying.thanks.

Hello all,I had Mytraffic on FS 2002 and was able to run everything maxed out with useable frame rates (to me anyway!). However with FS 2004 I have to run traffic at below 50%. I guess the reason is slightly better graphics and far better weather. How do the traffic percentages (with MyTraffic)of FS 2004 compare to FS 2002? Will 50% FS 2004 give me the same as 50% with FS 2002?Victor
