Is it just me.If you select the default take flight (KSEA 34R) during the daytime and look northeast there are about nine fuel tanks right alongside the taxiway between you and the terminal. If you then switch the time to nighttime they dissapear - SPOOKY.Kevin.

Hi guys i have finally decided to switch to FS9 but frame rates are terrible i'm scared of running it. Quick question how do i compress the FS9 folder to improve framerates i have right clicked -> Properties but nothing has anything to do with compressing. I am interested in hearing how people benchmark FS9 performance. I admit the simulator runs well on my system but the inner techie in my wants to do more even when its fine AS IS. There are many *tweaks* so to speak floating around the forums. What I want to try and do is implement a *tweak* then benchmark the performance of the simulator in an environment that is the same nearly every time.I'm curious, when you make a change, do you simply run FS9 and eyeball the FPS meter and the overall smoothness of the program or are you using performance counters in windows, or what?I guess in the end I would like to know what might be the chocking point for FS9 on certain machines.…

Is there a limit to the number of traffic.bgl files that are useable by FS? I've been playing a bit with TTools, and was contemplating splitting my traffic beyond the commercial and GA to specific airline, and regional GA. Is there a practical reason why this would be unadvisable? Is there a naming convention for traffic bgls beyond traffic*.bgl? Thanks,sg

Hi all,Does anyone how to fix the real weather problem when stations are reportingunrestricted Visibibilty in the European format? You know, in the USA, V10means unrestricted. Here, 9999 is unrestricted, and the simulator sets visivilityto a little below 10 statute miles on sunny days. This happens when you obtainreal weather from airports across europe. Just wondeing if anyone has thought of this yet.Add support to open PDF files.. all our payware planes come with very detailed PDFS id like to be able to get that inflight alot of the time..And i think its somthing that can be done.. Acrobat can open in an IE window right.. so why not i the kneeboard.all you would need to do is have a html form where u can browse for the pdf file you want. and then once its picked it can open it or am i too late and someone has done this?

I would love to see the Grumman rebuilt or upgraded for FS2004. I've used the one that Heather repainted so beautifully (sorry I can't remember the creator of the model). We only had an upgraded FS98 panel for it though. Would love to see it made from scratch for FS2004. Any takers?Randall

Has anyone had any luck aliasing the great new PSS A330 panel to any of the POSKY A330 aircraft. Seem's to work, but I always get the A340 EWD. I have even copied all the .air and .cfg file's from PSS to the POSKY aircraft, plus sound files and still get just the A340 engine instrument's with only 2 of the 4 engine's running. Never had this problem with the A320 series from PSS. Have they somehow linked the .mdl files to the panel so we have to buy their liveries?
