Hi folks,i notice that more than 600 fellows downloaded BAHREIN scenery from new files list.Anyone can explain how can i get it to work?It's in my scenery.cfg but when i go to OBBI can see anything but default airport (with lots of Gulf Air AI ;-) )Thanks in advance for helpingLuigi ;-)

I have the Martinair paint of the IFDG 767-300 plane and the front landing gear is sunk 1/4th to maybe half way into the ground. Is this a known problem for this plane? Does anyone know how to fix it?

For those with ATI cards, the 3.8 drivers will be released this Wed, Oct 8 at 1500hrs Eastern Daylight time. Still unknown on the FS9 releated issues.

Hi, can anyone tell me why the latest download of DX9b from Microsoft gives a "debug" ver. of Directx.cpl. which it says will run slower than the retail ver. Where the heck do I get the retail ver. Thanks for any help.Regards,Russell.

Hi all!I currently get 30fps just about all the time in FS2002 on my laptop (1.0Ghz, 512MB ram, obscure and fairly slow Intel graphics card). That's with all display settings at close to maximum, apart from autogen at normal. I've also got multitexturing turned off because my graphics card doesn't seem to like it (I get disappearing textures). My question is: what kind of frame rates could I expect in FS2004? I obviously wouldn't be able to have all the sliders at maximum, but would it still be flyable (mostly 20fps+) with a prettier view than FS2002 manages?Cheers,Bungo

I am using payware version of FSUIPC by Pete Dowson.Having CH Yoke USB I have assigned mixture axis lever to provide for reverser input and it works pretty well. I have also tried to assign prop lever to act as a spoiler lever but unfortunately the values in the respective window referring to spoiler range do not change.Is there any way to activate that?Thanks for your help,Dom

I find that the trim is very annoying on tyhe Lear45 inasmuch as the rudder trim is always "out" of wack ever so little when on a constant heading Im tilted to the right by 3 degrees or more.Any remedy other than the constatn try and error of adjusting the trim?Allen

Hi! I have a problem with the Wonderful Rio Scenery... Because of problems with my system, i have to uninstall the scenery. But the automatic uninstaller does not work and is showing some errors.(Cannot find file irunin.dat..) Then i tried to manual uninstall all files that are related with Wonderful Rio, but now every i start FS9 there is an error ("Scenery.cfg error cannot find local scenery directory in FS9/Scenery/Brasil/Scenery") When i remove the scenery from the Library it is there again when i restart FS9!Really strange, because I am unable to locate any remaining files of the scenery..Thanks very much for your help!Matthias HoheiselHannover / Germany

Hi All,Is it possible to have the runway lights on during the day in COF?I am sure they are on during the day at real airports but i may be wrong.Is there something i can change in the cfg files to make them appear?Many thanksMike.

Anybody else have this problem?FS 2004 all realism settings switched to easy. However some planes (not all I think) still drift when taking off. I have to use rudder to compensate. Is there a fix?Victor

Hi guys,I got a Radeon 9800 Pro to replace my Gainward Ti 4200 card and while I wasn't really expecting a huge boost, I actually got no improvement at all and instead a system very prone to crashing and freezing (which I now believe was due to overclocking my CPU from 2,4 to 2,66).However, the other day all the sudden I had great performance and ran FS9 in 1600x1200x32 with most sliders to the right and AA on. From outside view, in rainy and foggy weather, I had about 60-70 fps with the Cessna Amphibian. I ran a 3DMark 03 test and when checking my results against other machines of the same specs in the online database I was in the absolute top!Then the next day, my comput…

Is there anyway to adjust the power setting for the takeoff gauge?On some of my third party aircraft, (probably all FS2002 conversions), if I use autothrottle/togau for takeoff, my power is a bit weak. There is ample power with full power by simply opening the throttle manually. Is there a line somewhere in the aircraft.cfg or airfile which can be reset to increase power for this function without upsetting the other power settings?Thanks:RTH

Has anyone else experienced uncharacteristically poor support from SimFlyers as of late? In the past, these guys have been right on the money with answering support e-mails and responding to messages in their forum. Lately, however, support seems to have dried up and died on the vine. Judging from the state of the forum, I get the impression I am not alone in this sentiment. Anybody know what's up?I'm beginning to rethink my next SimFlyers purchase, considering I can get no assistance on my current one. Disappointing *sigh*.J

Any ideas of what I do about my dual monitor problem would be appreciated. I have read all the threads on dual monitors but I cannot get FS9 to work in full screen mode with any windows such as the radio stack on the other monitor. I have XP Home running two video cards - a Geforce2 Pro GTS and a Velocity 128 (yes I know they are not state of the art). I have tried taking the window to the edge of the main screen and closing and reopening it but get nothing on the second monitor. If I use window mode then, yes, I can seperate them but, soon as I go to full screen mode, it pulls the other window back onto the main monitor. With FS2002 I can successfully seperate them …

hi to alli have a 9800pro with 3.7 catalyst drivers, in fs2002 i can't see 2d panels, 3d cockpit and scenery is smooth, but the pannel blinks and it's absolutely unreadble.i'm running on xp sp1 updated.any idea on how to solve it?tks for your attentiontk

I searched for this one on the forums, but to no avail, although I am sure this must have been addressed somewhere.I have just started doing dome IFR work, and have discovered that no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to set up adequate cloud cover at very low levels (eg 300' AMSL). This is probably associated with the overcast cloud problem, but even broken clouds at these levels would be nice.Any pointers?ThanksRichard

I currently use CH padals and yoke (USB) with FS 2004. I have noticed that if the CH pedals are connected, it renders the (.) period key on the keyboard useless. It will no longer control the brakes.While this is fine with most situations, it poses a small problem with some of the California Classics planes as their prop reverse function is simulated by a file that activates the brakes to a small degree. As a result of the pedals controlling the brakes, the braking action of the prop reverse does not work unless the pedals are diconnected.Does anyone know if this is a known issue with the CH pedals or is my unit malfunctioning.?I called CH products directly and they were …

Just wondering if anybody is using the current version of WideView with FS 2004??I would like to link two systems together and use a laptop for the instrument panel and a desktop connected to a 21" monitor for the scenery...Anyway to accomplish this??Barry

When flying in mountain regions, depending on visibility, when you get to a particular altitude, a strange level of fog appears below as a tranparent level surface with some peaks sticking above it. I find it rather destracting. Is there any setting to make it more realistic or get rid of it?
