A local store offered me Gexcube Radeon 9800, anyone heard of the company? I was unable to find reviews on this card.

I created my flight plan from KSFO to KSEA (IFR). After takeoff from 19R, ATC told me to turn to 005 degrees. After the step climb to 32000 ft, ATC NEVER told me to "resume own navigation." When I tried to intercept the flight plan route, ATC told me to expedite turn to 005 degrees!!! I finally ended up in EASTERN WASHINGTON and had to cancel IFR to get to KSEA. Why does ATC do such a poor job?Airbus

Hi folksI'd be very grateful if someone could tell me how to reposition the wing view in FS9 so that one is positioned behind the wing. Also is there anywhere where you can go to find out information like this? I know its about editing the CFG file and I'm sure its simple if you know how.Many thanks, Andy

Hi,I have downloaded the amazing (and recently uploaded) Swiss airports of Daniel Gauthier .The "readme" file says that you need to first install the ASD, VOD, Airport, Nova, Novagold and Trees V3 textures.I am not sure if those textures are compatible with FS2004...does anybody know something about that issue ?Twister

Is there a way to increase the distance that the roadside telephone poles and lights show up? Autogen visibility distance is acceptible but the telephone poles don't show up until you are almost on top of them.

Just found a way to kill this form of spamming for good. Have you ever been flying along and "pop" "get your university diploma!"so annoying! more so in full screen mode.here's what works for me, use at your own risk of course.Click Start -> Setings -> Control Panel -> Admin. Tools -> ServicesScroll down and highlight "Messenger" (a single click).Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties.Click the STOP button.Select Disable or Manual under the "Startup Type" menu selection (we recommend the manual setting).Click OK.No need to reboot - You are now blocking webpopup advertisements!hope this helps to keep your flights uninterrupted. :-)joe

I downloaded the Jetstream 31 panel by BAe Panel Project and I must say its great, but if only I could get the engines to fire. I'm using it with HJG's Jetstream. I've swapped the .air files and such. But I can't get the dang thing to start, I've gone through the checklist countless time and have it printed out. The starter just hangs without progress and the battery goes to 20V after the first start.

Hi all, I connect to the internet through a big corporate lan, and I was curious as to why FS2004 will not recognise my internet connection when downloading realtime weather in the game. Squawkbox, ASRC and every other program that uses my connection works fine. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?THanks,Dave D

Is there a way to make them in the aircraft or somehow make a transparent color, but it must have distortion or you can't see it at all. color 255, 255, 255, 0 is transparent but you can not see it at all, if you use 1 as last then you can see it it's close to transparent but not quite it's more like greyish light, well don't look lake vapors that's for sure.. anyone knows anything about colors in FS2004 or maybe can make a transparent texture somehow that could cause distortion? Like fx_1.bmp but be transparent...Hmmmm.. I don't think I know what I am talking about :-)Andy

Chris Willis came out with a wonderful fix for the clouds/dawn and dusk textures... I've been doing more night flying now and have noticed that the ground is dead black while the sky is not totally dark. The look of the horizon doesn't mesh with the sky, it's like your flying over a black carpet. It's hard to explain but night flying above 32,000ft doesn't look quit right...Is there anyone working on a fix that will mesh gound and sky together at night like what I see during the day time???

Hi. Last night I tried to fly between Heathrow and Kennedy airport in a concord. I used fs2004 flight planner to create a flight plan between these two airports. I selected Heathrow runway 27L Kennedy as a destination IFR and high altitude after about 25 second the result was very funny a rout from Heathrow to Manchester and then to Ireland and then to north pole, Alaska, and back to the north of US and then Kennedy. An around the world flight instead of Heathrow to Chicago! And also in many other cases for example almost all flight plans that FS creates for domestic routs in Iran are wrong completely! Why?:-hmmm

I downloaded the demo of FSNav and have a few questions. First let me say that I asked the same questions over at the FSNav forum, but they are kinda slow.What I would like to know is what the normal procedure is in getting FSNav running. This is what I do...I start fs9 and hit the "fly now!" button. I hit the F9 and FSNav starts and I begin planning my route. I press export and select FS2004. Then I have to select flight planner and select "load" and select the one I just exported and press yes to place my aircraft at the departure airport.To me this is a very complicated way of doing things. Just purchase FS2004 today install it but at the end of the installation click on start and keeping me to put my cd4 and start the application, but the cd4 is already there, I did 4 installations and alway the same, I did do the installation on my old P11 and it work, I have Zone Alarm and install it with and wihout Zone Alarm and alway the same resultMy system is Window XP, AMD 2600, asus V7700 TI card.Cam

Have FS2002 on computer, but cannot add planes, though anly have half dozen installed - thinking of doing a re install over the original in hopes of picking up the missing pieces.Would this work OK or be a total foul up of the sim??Thanks guys for your help Eddie

can someone help me find a file with airport light replacement. I know there is a set from chris arrington but there was also another set which gave smaller less bulky lights. Hi, apologies if this question was already asked! While I was holding short and waiting for a 777 take-off, the 777 actually made a beautiful run on the runway, took off and started to climb, and after 3-4 seconds...disappeared in the thin air!Also, during flight I get calls from ATC in order to spot traffic nearby, but I can never see any of it, while in 2002 I used to enjoy the company of many fellow aviators in the skies.I imagine that may be some settings need to be changed, in order to improve the radius within which the AI can be seen. Having read all the tips on this forum, updated every last bit of hardware and altering every detail setting setting, my problems with FS 2004 are as bad as ever. I was hoping somebody could help me here.My problems are as follows:- Absoloutly no traffic whatsoever, even with traffic set at 100%.- An error message which comes up whenever I start a flight that reads like this: "Scenery read error.
