Hi!Does anyone know if there any revised navaids with workingglideslopes for FS 2002?They often look OK, but my planes (various) don't lock to themand, instead, fall far below the glideslopes making it virtuallyimpossible to land using them; I have to land manually.Any tips?Grateful for them.........Hans HermanssonSWEDEN

Hey folks, long time lurker....The last time I picked up Flight Sim was back in the old Bruice Atwick Vs Microsoft days. So after a long absense to the hobby I came back with MS2004 I'm happy with it per-say. But I do have some questions if anyone could be of assistance.I am trying to get my fly areas pretty reasonable on scenery/airports/addons and right now I am working with florida and the carrabian as well as a bit of latin america. So this means I have a lot of scenery packages added on. Does this effect performance if im say flying in seattle. Firstly, many thanks to R. Young for once again taking FS to another level. The C172 now feel just like the ones I was lucky enought to fly out of Key West and Teterboro. Can't wait to take the FS9 SF260 out for a spin.One problem: when you look all the way back in the VC, you get tearing such that you can see the outside world through the interior. I do not get this problem inthe VC with any of the other 172's. Anybody know of a quick fix (I tried substituting other textures, but did not help).Many Thanks

I can not do a full instal of FS9,I receive an error message which says that either one of the FS9 cab files is corrupt on the FS9 discs (which I know not to be the case) or my swap file is too small. I have succesfully completed a compact installation.I searched the forum for "swap file" and I see that several of you experts have changed your swap file, may I ask how you do it for W98SE and also how you make FS9 high priority.Many thanks in advanceDon

I finally get around 40-50 fps in the POSKYA330...but it involves some sacrifices...1st...you have to set your VC Quality to Low...2nd you must remove the texture for the VC if you haven't already...and 3rd...you have to remove all entry's in the panel.cfg that say [VCockpit] my specs: P4C 2.6Ghz, Radeon 9800, 512MB PC3200 (oh and make sure you haven't selected "system cache" in the advanced options of My Computer...it will really cause alot of frustration)

I made this today and last night in Visual Basic 6. It installs and uninstalls liveries for the POSKY A330 much like Captain Sims' TCE and the Flight 1 Text-o-matic. Does anyone know if its possible to fly online in multiplayer with someone acting as pilot and co-pilot in the same aircraft? Seems like this would be great fun.

Hey everyone.Sorry, I wasn't sure where else to ask this question. I'm trying to get onto a number of different search engines, such as Google, AltaVista, Yahoo, etc. and they will not work! For all except Google, I get to the search page, type in what I'm looking for, and get the old "This Page Cannot Be Displayed". On google, it's even worse...I can't even get to the search page. I recently purchased and installed MegaScenery USA2004 LA/San Diego. I did so knowing my machine was/is not capable of handling such a program. But, since I've had MSFS from day one, I just had to have this scenery.As fast as I installed it, I un-installed it. I set all the settings as recommended. After un-installing, I put the settings back to where I thought I had them before. It took awhile to get the ground textures back the way I had them (even though they're still not what I remembered) but I'm having one heck of a time to get my aircraft (default and add-on) to look as good as they were. I have a Dell XPS system that came with ATI Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card. I would like to upgrade the drivers to version 3.8, however,I do not know exactly how to do this.1. Is it correct that 3.8 comes with an uninstall utility, to uninstall the old drivers?2. Is it advisable to uninstall the old drivers?3. Do the 3.8 drivers come with an .exe file which automatically installs the drivers?I am not a computer guru, and do not want to screw up my system trying to mess around with the Registry etc. At present, I run the FS9 in Windows mode to eliminate the flickering etc.I understand that the 3.8 drivers do not eliminate this flickering entlirely. I love to look at my plane as I fly from ALL views available to me. One of my favorite programs is, of course, Active Camera 2004. As I cycle through my views...2D, VC, Spot, and Active Camera Fly-by, I notice that my plane is inevitably "crabbing across the sky". I cannot see the indication of this inside the cockpit (no slip). What is causing this? It looks positivly unreal and wierd. Is it a problem with Active Camera or is this really happening? I would appreciate some explanation of this or any suggestion of settings that I could check. Thanks, Stan

what's the visual/performance difference?

I've attempted to add at least three of the available A330 addons for Posky but cannot get any of them to show up.The installer thats provided for installation has no idea where the files should go...but at least I thought I did..What I did was extract files to a temp folder, copied the texture.xxx file and insert it into the correct A330/A3320 folder ( I've done it a thousand times before) making sure its properly installed in the aircraft.cfg file and also matching with the correct engine type..However, still no aircraft...Has anyone else expreince this problem or at least know what I'm doing wrong...ThanksTroy

How do we turn off / disable the automatic switch views button. When I was in "Tower view" for several seconds, it automatically switched to the next view, then several seconds later, it then turns to another view, which is quite annoying.

Any word on when a patch will be out for this to work in FS2004?

Anyone tried them yet?? In the library, just wondering before I d/l it and attempt the install. well i've just made a test.i start a new flight in my local aiport(poor scenery not to kill frames),the weather is fine,and frame rate is locked at 30 fps.i chose the B737,B747,B777,A320(from project airbus),A330(from PSS and POSKY) and A340 (from Aerodesigns).the boeing panels are standard microsoft panels.for airbus:-A320 Marciano's A320 Panel-A330 Default 777 then Marciano's A330 Panel for Posky,and PSS panel for PSS A330 of course.-A340 AeroDesign's panel.the test was quite simple:just a take off and a clim to 8000f with panel view most of the time.the results are:-with the boeing's panels the fps are at 28~30 all the time even when i switched the views(VC,spot..).-wi…
