Hey. I'm currently working on a KSAN AFCAD. I'm looking for anyone who has any information about the airport to please reply to this message. I'm currently looking for specific airline gates: who owns which gates... I think that makes sense. I am using the CH Products Flight Sim Yoke with FS2002 and FS2004.Here's the problem...The throttle will not remain high and it suddenly jumps back to idle. Thinking this might be a conflict with a particular aircraft and/or FS2004, I experimented and it occurs with all planes and even in FS2002.I have tried making adjustments within the simulator with no luck. I hooked up my Logitech Wingman Extreme and have no problems with the throttle acting up.Anyone have similar problem or suggestions on what might be wrong?Michael Hutton

Could someone explain the difference between FS2004 aircraft that are GMAX and those that are not GMAX. Thanks in advance.Chuck

This is my first post to this forum since I've FS2004 installed . Well , I've read many things from simmers and I can say that after 2 weeks ot tweaking , it has helped me a lot to leave FS2002 for FS9 . The reason why I'm writing today is simply because I want to thank all the persons who give their time to help us so that we can get nice results to run FS well , or very well for some Whenever a new version of FS is on the market , we need a lot of time to tweak , we need to be patient but this is so exciting to get nice results .... As things stand right now, I am using FS9 pretty much as it comes out-of-the-box, with the addition of a few new gmax aircraft (non-AI). My question is this, if I am just using the default AI traffic, is there any real advantage to upgrading to some of the new AFCAD2 files available for default airports? Will it give more traffic? Will aircraft behave differently? Or will there be no difference at all? Thanks for your help.

Anybody have any experience to report about using these alternative water reflection textures available in the library in FS9 available in the library? I was really hoping that these would give me back water reflections like I had in FS 2002.I still get water reflections in FS2002 even with FS9 textures copied and imported into the older sim. I don't have FS2004 working yet (will be able to use it this weekend) and when I do start flying in FS2004 I would like to add alot of the freeware airport scenery I had (have) in FS2002. Yesterday I went out and upgraded my computer with an ATI Radeon 9600 128mb video card along with a new 512mb memory stick (to bring my memory upto 1GB). After installing the video card and the memory stick, my video card will not work. My computer boots, but no display. Well I put my old video card back in and it worked great. So I thought I had bought a bad video card. I decided to take out the stick and put my new video card back in and it worked perfectly. Does anyone know of any memory limitations with a video card? Pk I saw the other day that there was a post one the main page of the AVSIM that SSW was releasing the 3rd patch for the 310 today. Guess what. Now out. What is with this company. They have said "next week" many many many times. People are just getting fed up with them. I can't believe that AVSIM would place a topic about them on their main page about their monday release of the patch.

Anyone know of any Airbus IAE sounds? (Specifically the A320). I recently rode the A320 3 times on a trip I just got back from... I love the way the IAE engines sound at idel/low power. So just wondering if anyone know where to get any sounds because I cant find any.

Greegings all..Have had the new video card a week and love it but want to elimiate the "hard horizon line" seen with downloaded weather and reported visibilites greater than 20mi. I'm aware of the references to the max visibility line in fs9.cfg and have tried to change it without result. FS seems to be overwritting the file on start up and resetting the default value. (Have not yet verified this with the file's date stamp however) Manual WX setup via the "Custom" weather dialog boxes works fine as I can set the visibility anywhere I want. The constant delays in the ship date of Megascenery New York is getting quite frustrating. I already paid for it. With the experience on the LA version, I can't understand why they couldn't forecast more correctly. They've done it before! There can't be that much different. Apparently, they were unable to use the lessons learned to more accurately predict resources and time. 10/15 --> 11/15 --> 12/7. Yuck! My Bae146 will not steer propery. It seems to be skidding after about5kts and will only turn very little. I looked at the CFG file and the N/W angle is set to 80 degrees and I dont know what else to modify...Would it be the C of G to far aft ?Anybody know ?Greg

Quick Background--I added an 80 Gig HD to my system. As part of the setup, I prepared the new HD as my boot drive, as the old one I'm prepping for XP on a new box I'll be building. During the six hour process, a copy error appeared on one of the files. I noted it was a bgl, but the error flashed so quickly that I put the thought of it in the dark recesses of my mind....After I made the new drive my master and booted from it, I launched COF.... No problems... Afterwards, I decided to backup COF to my second partition.... EveningSince upgrading to fs2004, I have installed my UK VFR scenery, and was finding the scenery became much more blurry than was the case in fs2002.Tonight I took a flight from Heathrow to Exeter in the amazing "fanda" DASH, climbing to 20,000 feet the scenery was pretty blurry.I then lowered the frame lock to 10fps thinking this would help with the blurring.It did the opposite, the blurring became WORSE.I turned the frame lock to unlimited and the change was amazingWithing seconds the scenery snapped back into focus and stayed there for the rest of the flight.I panned left, right and down the scenery was completely clear, any areas that were slightly blurry cleared al…
