The FS 9 flight planner allows you to select a gate. I want to use FS Nav to create my flight plan. How do I specify a gate in FS Nav so it gets exported to the FS 9 flight plan?Thanks!Barry

Does anyone know where I could find some French Polynesia mesh compatible with FS2004?I downloaded Bill Melichar Tahiti International Airport scenery for FS2004 and he mentions about a mesh for CFS2 that works fine in FS2004 made by Rolf Keibel and John Applegate. However I can't find this mesh in the library after searching there names.Does anyone know where I can find this mesh or any other French Polynesia mesh that works in FS2004?It's cold and snowy here in Colorado. I need some tropical relaxation. :)Regards

Has anyone tried the new relief & building textures by Carlos Lorenz Benllock or the new colorized world textures by Steve Kempf that were recently uploaded at Avsim? Opinions?

Okay, I know at one time there was a program for FS2002 I think, that would let you manually add jetways to the default scenery with a click of a mouse. Does anyone know of where I can obtain this file, or any other method of adding jetways to the default scenery? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.Shawn Anderson

Guys, I'm going to lose my mind, I can't play any games (most importantly fs) because the second partition of my hard drive won't format. I get the eroor "windows was unable to complete the format" (to local disk D).Here's the story behind this. A long time ago, I upgraded my pc, so I decided to reinstall windows, but windows would never finish installing for some reason, but everything still worked normal so being my lazy self i operated the computer with windows always trying to finish its instalation. hi all, i have just downloaded the free uk scenery available on fsgenesis, i am however, wondering what benefit there is in installing it. now i know your probably thinking try it and find out! but i do not wish to mess up the game if i dont like it. so if anyone has tried this scenery or similar then please could you inform me as to the benefits / changes that the scenery makes i would be very grateful! Does anybody know how to get rid of the control tower at the base of the E-pier at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport? This tower does not exist in real life and I don't know why they put it there. Or is it just a bug at my own PC???Greetz, Ikke.

I bought my first payware in July... PSS AirbusPro which was both challenging and nice - the sad thing was that a new sim appeared in August. Now after waiting a couple of months a patch for making it (PSS Airbus) fs2004 compatible has arrived. But there are still many problems with it. Now when Christmas is coming I'd like ask you for help. Is there any good medium range jet airliner specially made for fs2004? It should be somewhat bug-free and frame-rate-friendly. I downloaded Pietro's Italy, France, Spain/Portugal, and Germany mesh updates which also update the mesh of Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, and parts of Belgium and the Nether lands plus a few other countries.However, in many parts of Switzerland, FS immediately crashes. This doesn't happen when I fly at night though. Only during the day.Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?Regards

Are there any major US airports that need to be done accurately with AFCAD? I was looking at KIAD, KLGA, or KEWR. I'm probably missing some. I'd appreciate it if you'd reply and tell me which airport needs to be done asap. What is going on with access to Avsim lately? Getting to the first page is slower than usual, but moving between pages is absolutely awful. In fact the system will time out ever so often.Download is even worse. Timeouts occur before being able to say yes to the download. On the rare occasion I do get connected, the download speed is only about 10% of normal. The way light reflects off the glass and airframe simply have to be seen to be believed!I've been flying around Sydney and I'm finding myself flying from outside this masterpiece simply gawking at it. Using the Trev Morson flight dynamics, I seem to be having big problems with fuel usage....For an aircraft that can allegedly fly 1800nm on full tanks, I left San Antonio with full tanks and landed in Guadelajara, Mexico (613.5nm away) with a mere 3.2gallons of fuel in each of the 3 tanks. That's with the mixture turned leaned pretty close to cutoff, prop condition reduced to just below the RPM yellow zone, cruising at 16,000 to clear the mountains in Mexico....Am I doing something wrong with fuel management, or is the fuel usage in the flight dynamics wrong?

Hi guys, sorry for being naif, maybe ... but I am about to buy myself a new PC and I would like to know what should be my basic concerns about h/w performance. I searched but couldn't find an answer (or fix) to this problem...all of FS9's default detailed airports have jetways that rise about 50 feet in the air. WAY TOO HIGH for any jet--even 744!Any way to correct this problem?Thanks.

I just happened to notice that i have gotten the same weather the last 3-4 days, strange it has not happened before. Weather updates are completely off current metar. There is no information on Jeppesen website, but i see current weather maps are nonfunctioning. Anybody else got this ?
