Does anyone know anywhere else I can get hold of this scenery, as I've tried downloading from the ISD site, but it doesn't load the page. I've tried emailing them, but i've so far had no reply. If anyone out there has it, could you send it to me at [email protected] or perhaps you could link it to a website so that I could download it :-)Thanks

When changing views in the 2D cockpit from front to left, right, etc., I get flashing white squares for a second while the scenery redraws. Anyone know of a solution to this?Thanks,

Hopefully this will be unusual enough to generate some responses.....I'm wanting to know if I can find somewhere in the reccesses of my PC the AI aircraft flight plans for any given airport, particularly NZWN.I'm assuming the info is all there in the myriad of files that is FS2002, but I'm stuffed if I know where to look. I'm keen to time my approaches to airports at the busiest times.I have neither the skills nor the inclination to download files, or change anything on my system, purely a "read only" situation.Can someone tell me (in baby-talk) where I could find the flight schedules MS has programmed?Thanks in advanceAllblack

FS 2004 keeps crashing due to the above dll file. Has anyone else had this problem. Running XP.

Hi all ,I recently bought the radeon 9800xt 256mb . Expecting an amazing performance boost I started fs2004 only to discover that there was hardly if any performance gain at all in comparisson with my old TI4200 64mb!!!.I tried every possible driver and configuration but to no effect.Now what to do. After 5 days of surfing the net and trying out every tip I decided to return the card. It seems that this forgotton Beauty, is as rare as they come.Does anybody know where I can get the Virgin Atlantic Repaint for it.Im working on a PSS merge, and I think ive nailed it. But id like to do a test flight From EGLL-KJFK using the Virgin Atlantic Livery.Ive tweaked it to perfection, the Autoland looks so nice, with the nose wheel slowley falling to the RWY on landing. :)Then if all goes well, I will do the New A340-500 Emirates long range flight.Oh Yeah baby, much Airbus fun to be had.Jason

Im new to FS2004 and I would like to know if they changed anything from FS2002 when doing a ILS approach in FS2004? I have not been able to do a ILS approach yet. When I press the APR button the heading disengages and takes me to the runway like it should, but the altitude never disengages. What am Im doing wrong in FS2004? With FS2002 I didnt have any trouble.

Hi all,I wonder if there is something wrong with my FS2004. If there is departing traffic before me, I'm told to taxi into position and hold, but NOT after landing traffic as well, as would be logical. Can somebody check how this works in their versions? The reason is that I'm using an MS-issued press gold version, and was wondering if the box-version works this way too, as I have bought the box-version too and will be installing it instead if it has been changed to work the way I described, although I strongly doubt it.Greetings,Ilari

Hi Guys,Out of the blue, a problem started with FS9. Here is the chain of events:I downloaded the latest critial updates via Windows update (XP Pro). It included IE 6.0 SP1. After the load and reboot, I launched FS9 and chose real weather just as I have done a thousand times. But this time, the sim errored out to the desktop after the weather downloaded. The error was showing a problem with weather.dll.So, I restored my system back right before the updates (assuming there was a problem with one of the updates) using System Restore. All went well, and my system was back.I then launched FS9, and again tried to download real weather again. It downloaded fine, but then…

I mostly fly in Europe, after all it's 'home'. I fly all over the place, but there's one country I tend to avoid: France. It's not that I have anything against the french (one has to keep friendly with the neighbours), it's because there are hardly any interesting addon airports to fly to, be it freeware or payware. There's an abundance of airports available for almost any other European country: Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Great Britain, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, ... What are the settings to get a steady image. And then especially from the outside world like trees, buildings, ground, mountains, etc.The panel is OK.I have tried all different ATI drivers (3.7, Omega, etc.).I have Rage3Dtweak so I can also cahnge deeper settings like Z-buffer, etc..Rage3Dtweak makes it possible to have different settings for different games. Works great.Should fast write be on or off for this card?I have tried 6xFSAA and 16xAA with quality settings and 1600x1200 display, but still flickering (FPS 15-40).Is it the monitor (crt flatscreen with the 2 lines)? Just to pose an odd question out there.With the new talk about Longhorn (Microsoft's newest version of Windows in 200?) do you think Flight Simulator 2006 will be delayed or put out just before that.Window's ? (code-name Longhorn) will have a completely different file system and api structure...what are your thoughts?Just a question to make a long day go by faster.

hi, thanks for taking the time to look at this, first of all, i have been flying the lear 45 and 747 recently, and a couple of times the ias indicator has just gone to 0, sometimes it comes back but it did it once when i was on final and lets just say i didnt make the runway! Also how do you set up for an ILS approach!! i have done the lesson and completed it ok, but that was all set up for you plus it was in the cessna which has a nice big ils display, i cant seem to see anything when entering the glideslope in either the lear or 747, can anyone shed any light on the situation? cheers in advance, James

When I run FS9 lessons on my rather low end machine, the instructor's speech stutters significantly, as if some syllables are repeated many times. FS runs ok otherwise.I can't find any place to tweak my sound settings, so I'd be glad of any advice.WIN98SE, Soundblaster Live Value sound card.--Bryn

It's too bad that I don't have the skills or the software to design freeware so that I could give back to the flight sim community. I feel guilty that all I do is take, and the most I can do it seems is sponsor freeware sites (which is a really good practice that enough of us don't do).
