I keep trying to get decent frame rates with FS9,I am getting frame rates of 6-7fps.I have a AMD 2100 1.6 mhz,768 ddr ram,ATI 9800 pro with 128 ram on the card.I have Omega 2.4.96c video drives set at 1024 x 768 AA set at 4x and AF at 2x.I have all the settings in FS9 set to normal AA is off.I keep seeing all these threads about 15-20 fps with the same speed computer as what I am running.What more can I do to get higher frame rates? I'm looking for a ***freeware*** FS2004 737 that has accurate flight dynamics.I'm especially interested in one that corrects the excessive breakaway thrust requirements that plague the default FS2004 737.Anyone have any suggestions about a 'Freeware' offering out there that does this?Thanks!

The text file states that there are to be three ".air" files. What I got was three "air.cfg" files for the 620, 650 and 70. Mine are just the aircraft.cfg files, not the air files. Did I miss something here?GrantM

I just noticed on the front page of this website) that the SDK's for FS2004 have been released. Alot of us have been waiting for them and it will definately be interesting to see how they will be used!

Hi!,There is a question, I'd like to ask those who own these sceneries.Since they were designed for FS2002, how do they work with FS9?Are there elevation problem or other related issues?I have their WSSS which was build for FS2000 and it works good for FS9.Thanks for your resposnes.

Has anyone every checked the effects of using FS9 in relation to the CPU temps. This is quite interesting. Hi,A very nice stand alone panel for the Lockheed L1011 was uploaded to this site the other day. My problem is that neither number 1 nor number 2 VOR radios will tune. The RADIO section of the Aircraft Config file is the same as any default aircraft, but they will not tune. Any ideas??? Thanks.Bob I.... in sunny Florida

Preflight went smooth, there was no delay, the pax seemed happy. We got off the ground 8 minutes ahead of scheduled.Enroute received numerous warnings of traffic close. But nothing too much to worry about. There was some mild turbulence enroute. Im looking for a good A320 to use with my Project Airbus planes in FS2004. Can anyone recomend a good one to use?

Am running 2 monitors on GeForceIV, 256megs with no problems (FS2k2). Main panel and radio panel. My mobo will accept a PCI card. If I install it and conect a monitor to it for the overhead panel, would you expect good performance to continue, or could the 3rd monitor cause perf to drop (AMD 1.4 megas, 512mb)? Thanks, lr.

Flying from Honolulu to Maui, I get 20 fps and smooth flight. Going from Calgary to Edmonton (Canada), again, smooth flight but a flight from Montreal to NY-LGA ends at 3 to 4 fps with stuttttters...What's going on? Is FS9 alergic to "dense sceneries" like NY??? My system is Pentium 4, 1.5, 512 ram. My video card is Asus GeForce FX 5200.My settings are : normal. I diseabled Autogen.

Hi guys!I just want to have the conformation, that the B737 default modell is very poor programmed and that I am not making any mistake:- when I intercept an ILS with the Autopilot (LOC or APP) the airplane takes too little bank and overshoots the localizer - only after a few seconds it stabilizes on the localizer- at glide-slope-intercept it starts with a VSI of 2000 ft/min - going under the glideslope- with autothrust engaged the throttles often alternately turn to more power and then back to idle - always going up and downIs that normal with the FS2002 default-models? For those of you who are looking to amass a good stable of GA AI aircraft (which are somewhat underrepresented, relative to airliners) and want to add a little more variety to the interminalble "Cessna," "Mooney," "King Air," "Cherokee," and "Learjet" calls on ATC, I highly recommend Chuck Dome and Mike Stone's FSDS2 and Gmax aircraft, which consist of Falcon 2000s, Challengers, Adam A500/700s, Queen Airs, Aerostars and more!!! Did I miss it? I see that there is a nose fix for these sweet aircraft in FS9 available for download. I went to the Project Fokker site and DID NOT SEE ANY REFERENCE TO THE OFFICIAL UPGRADE TO FS9. Where are the base planes, panels, sounds etc. for the fantastic planes? In FS2002, the Fokker 100 was my default plane. I just loved the way it flew. Please fill me in on this....I'm confused. Stan

First off thanks to all of you who design freeware, whether it be planes or airports, your efforts certainly have made my experience with FS9 and FS2000 so much worth while and a lot more enjoyable. You have taken an alright program to a different height and MS should be putting you all on the payroll.Now that I have said what I have wanted to say on here for a long time. I currently have fs2002 and have quite a rusty computer to play it on, think I'll have to wait a while for a new one! I've noted that as FSMeteo updates all the wx stations in the surrounding area that FS2004 goes into giant pauses. This occurs during the course of normal flight when I assume that the stations are updated. Is this normal? Would I gain anything by using FSMeteo on another computer which is networked to my FS PC?Thanks,Bruce.

Does anyone know of a good method to pause an FS2004 flight at a specific point in the flight (other than pressing the "P" key :) ).There was an application called "FSPauser" around, but it appears to only work in FS2002. Thanks,Bruce.
