VC panel lights flashing when nav lights are on!lago tornado, virtual cockpit only:as soon as the nav lights are pressed, the cockpit light start flashing on and off (as if it was a beacon...). The same happens with the captainsim f104, but this time pressing the strobe lights.I'm wondering if it's my computer, or my fs9. However, because other people at the captainsim forum found the same bug, it can't just be me.ANY IDEA?thanksLuca

I have been attempting to change the type/model entries in milton Shupes excellent Aero Commander 520 to reflect the accurate designations. While trying to save the changes I get the following, "Read Attributes Only, Save as Another File Name". I tried saving the file using both selections in the dropdown menu (text and all files) but cannot get the file to save. Would like to get ATC/AI pilot to use proper a/c type/model instead of flght# 1946. Any help would be appreciated.

In FS2002, I had the eyepoint in the VC adjusted to my preference via this line in the aircraft.cfg file [Views]eyepoint= -4.4, -0.85, 2.1 And now I have done the same to the Cessna 172 and the Real Air 172 in FS2004.BUT -- I can't seem to get it to work with other default a/c in FS2004. Doesn't matter what changes I make to this line in the Baron and the Cessna 182, the eyepoint remains the same.Help!! What am I doing wrong?Thanks Barry

If I take off from LFLG and head towards LSMI (Interlaken,Switzerland), with or without a loaded flight plan, FS9 suddenly disappears clean as a whistle to the desktop. This same thing happens when I go from Spokane to Yakima. Nowhere else does this happen. Anyone have a clue what is going on with this? I do use FSGenesis mesh . . .Noel

I'm getting a line down St. Maarten with BlueSphere textures on one side and default on the other. If I disable default St. Maarten textures the BlueSphere covers the island. Anyone else?Randall

I have just finished the fantastic ITVV DVD on the Concorde. Being on the west coast of the US, I have never had the chance to see one (but will soon in Seattle). I just wanted to say that I mourn the loss of this symbol of British aviation. This DVD really drove it home on what this plane can do and didfor many years. It appears that BA now is just another airline, along with all the other majors. As a side note, I cannot recommend any of the ITVV products enough, they are simply the best (yes, I own about 15 from many different producers).Concorde, what a loss... for all of us.With that said, can anyone give me a recommendation on getting a good plane and panel se…

Hi All,Well I've been flying with the great cloud textures from FSW for a while (their first version, actually) and more recently the new water texture setup recommended last week.I'm ready to install the new BlueSphere textures and FSW night texture upgrade, but am concerned about keeping my great water and clouds as I'm guessing that some of these files are going to overwrite other the other authors' work as I install.Is there a "right" order to do this in order to get BlueSphere land textures, the Recommended water textures, FSW night lighting and clouds?Any advice appreciated, thanks!Joel

Hi,I have been trying to download a file from the library with no luck. I keep getting a message that says that the file may not exist! I did a search for this file and get a "hit", the file seems to be here at this site but can't download it. I am trying to get the texture files for the POSKY CRJ-200 in TWA Express livery (file name tw_express_crj-200.zip). Does anyone know were I might find this file?Thanks,Tom

Had to reinstall FS2004 becuse I was having .dll problems causing it to crash. Used the uninstaller and then cleared the FS9 directory completly. After doing that I used a register cleaner to get rid of any entries. When running the sim after reinstalling, flight sim said there was an aircraft not installed (a third party A320 I was using previously and which was the aircraft I had used in my saved flight). How did it know this as it was a complete reinstall. All my saved flights were there too. Where does it keep this information? Is it not possible to do a completely clean reinstall?

Real quick, anyone having trouble getting Gary Widup's new Salt Lake City airport to show up in FS9? I've got it added into the scenery library and it's in the scenery.cfg, but nothing comes up. The AFCAD2 file works though, got plenty of UT Delta RJ's lining up at an imaginary terminal.Thanks,

Hello..I'm interesting in viewing and editing .WX files presently for FS2k2 to build a custom weather profile along certain routes or even globally. Am seeking docs or links to .WX related articles or application notes. Would like to find out about and download an app or utility that can read and alter a .WX file.. mostly would like to control the wind layers, gusts and visibility.Any advise would be appreciated..Cheers!!

What is the proper response to this if you can't actually see the traffic? I usually just end up answering traffic in sight, or they cancel my IFR. Is there a better way?Thanks,sg
