Hi everyone!I'm a commercial pilot who wants to "keep current" with ifr in a multi-crew environment using fs2002. What I'm looking for is the poosibility to share the same fs2002 game with the same aircraft between two pc linked via tcp/ip, in few words the possibility to play in a real multicrew environment using 2 pc both running msfs. I was quite surprised to discover that multiplayer options in fs2002 only allow multiplayer in different aircraft.I've tried VNC (virtual networkin computing) software and also microsoft netmeeting program sharing, but doesn't work. with VNC only one pc run the application and it transmits over the net full display image to the remote pc …

Does anyone know when the Flight 1 Dreamfleet Boeing 737-400 for FS2004 is being released and does anyone have any information about it. (I know for a fact it IS coming out because it says that on their website.)

The landing lights in fs/9 are visible on the outside of the plane but not from the inside.I had installed a A-330 panel with 2 modules FSSound.dll and gps_export.DLL when i ran fs-9 it said that they were not compatible so i removed them could this be the problem,How do i get the lights back on from the cockpit!!!

I have just upgraded to FS9 and I am therefore need to upgrade my registered copy of FSMeteo. While I enjoyed using FSMeteo on FS2000/2, I now see that WxRE for FS9 is due out imminently.Does anyone have any views as to which one is the better option.One thing I must have is the ability to download weather from a previous date- ie the server must have an archive etc..Thanks in advance.M

Hi,I am trying to fly the great 737's by FFX in FS2004, when I move these over from FS2002 it seems that the cfg and air files are a little "out" in FS2004.This means that the plane is quite a bit over weight and also it crashes the payload editor.Does anyone know if there are any updated cfg or air files for this plane?.ThanksDan.

Has anybody tried out this addon a/c http://www.t37sim.com/It look just like what I have been looking for. I have always wanted a high quality aircraft addon which came not only with a high quality manual for operation of the aircraft but also with another high quality "training" manual. Looking at this site , this addon seems to have it all. Now the only thing I am not sure about is whether I am ready to step out of my Cessna into such a jet training aircraft - so is anybaody aware of another "intermediate" type a/c addon which would be more suitable.Thanks Barry

Hi Guys,I have just installed FSCOF on my computer, but it's a nightmare!!!It crashes, sometimes after 10 minutes, more likely in the first 3-4 minutes. Most of the time my PC totally hangs up. Sometimes it jumps out to desktop.I don't know what to do...HELP!!! Never had this problem with FS2002.I have winXPpro+SP1a (installed fresh), a Matrox G400Max with latest winxp drivers driving 2x 17" Monitors, Athlon 2Ghz CPU with 512 Mbytes ram.Any idea?Thanks,GG8

I recently upgraded to a new Dell P4 3.2 XPS system with 1gb of ram and a 9800 radeon pro card. Very nice and very smooth BTW. I have a question, perhaps one of you can help me with. The driver currently in use by the ATI card is the 6 14 10 6396 driver. I can't tell at the ATI site if this is the latest driver, or if there's a newer one since then. Any tips would be appreciated.Lee

I currently have a Thrustmaster Joystick that has idle and afterburner detents.As it stands, I have to assign a button on the joystick for "reduce throttle rapidly", so that I can do thrust reverse and deploy spoilers during touchdown.What I would like to do is set the idle detent, as the "zero" throttle setting. I would then like to assign the area between the idle detent and the throttle stop as reverse, And the area from the idle detent to the max throttle stop as the "normal throttle" area.I tried the button assignment tool that comes with it, and also tried to see if it is done in FS9.Does anyone know of a tool that will allow me to "split" the throttle into Reverse…

I've been a regular AVSIM visitor for many years but never had to post until now.I was running FS2002 on my Athlon XP1800, 512 Mb DDR, 128 Mb nvidia FX5200, a Philips sound card, and Win 98 SE with no problems at all. I had tons of add-on planes and some scenery.I just bought a Pentium 4 2.6 Ghz 800 FSB, 1 Gb of dual-channel 400 Mhz DDR, 256 Mb nivida FX5600, Soundblaster Audigy 2, and Windows XP Home. I figured I'd be running FS2002 like a champ. Problem is it won't run at all. Is anyone out there successfully running FS2004 on an Intel 865G board USING the onboard Intel Extreme 2 graphics chipset? Mine will only run in "safe" mode in a window, the display comes up a black screen otherwise. Before someone tells me: I know this is a cruddy chipset and not suitable for games, etc, etc, but it's what is in the box until either I find a decent board that will fit or mod the case.Laurie

After installing a new joystick - SAITEK Cyborg 3D Force plus XP Updated drivers; disaster struck! First my Nvidea GE4 Ti4200 was corrupted - Updated Drivers cured that, but since then I have been unable to Boot up FS2004; it refuses to go beyond the opening window e.g. DC3 and Flight Simulator 2004 - the window just freezes, the first time this happened an error window popped up asking for a MFC70.dll file - got that from Disc 1 - since then just refuses to boot! Hey guys,When I set the 727 on VOR hold, I experience sever oscillation left and right to my intended course. It eventually settles. I believe the intercept angle is too steep. Any ideas on how to fix it? I'm thinking correct the autopilot entries in the aircraft,cfg?Many thanks,Toni

OK, what causes the stutters? Or maybe they're not stutters, you tell me. I've recently purchased the FSD Cheyenne 400 and installed my new drivers-and can't stop flying this awesome bird---but I've got a frame rate dip of about 10 fps every three or so seconds, it's really annoying. It happens when I'm on the ground or in the air, but I notice that I get this drop when the plane is standing still with nothing on. The FPS constantly will hang around 45, then dip to 35-29, then get back up to 45, over and over again. It happens with other planes as well, just more with the Cheyenne because of the extra load I assume. I don't get it. Is there something I'm missing?If…

You made a new LGA for FS2004, you have a patch for Cleveland, and I think I read that you are making a new Santa Ana for FS2004. Will you be doing anything to your Regean Nation scenery? I haven't installed it in FS2004 yet because Im thinking you might do something for it.

I downloaded the Chriss Willis reduced cloud package and was happy. I never tried the originals to see how they would run on my computer; i want to try that. I have downloaded a 9800 pro driver from Dell. Comments on a forum suggest these are better than the ATI 3.9 for the Dell 8300.I have uninstalled all drivers from my PC but when I try and install the Dell 9800 Pro driver, it first errors with 'inf file not found'. Then a message tells me no video driver was found so I should install a standard VGA driver and then try again.So I try and install a standard VGA driver but all I get from windows are old ATI drivers - where did the standard ones go? I have XP now but I remember in W98 I could select 'all drivers' and pick the VGA - why do I only see old ATI drivers in XP?So I am stuck with no driver - I even tried the ATI 3.9 …

I've checked a couple of AFCADs from the bunch released from UT and there are no navaids listed. NO ILS's at all. I flew into KDTW this evening fo the fly-in, and had no ILS to fly to. Anyone else notice this?Do all the UT AFCAD's have to be fixed?
