I thought this might be a fun topic. Do you have any airport scenery installed that you never or hardly ever fly to and from?I havent had FS2004 that long so I don't have alot of scenery installed yet, but I do have a scenery I installed that I really don't plan on flying to alot and that is the freeware scenery of Hong Kong (VHHH) made by Thomas Kwong. I have this scenery mainly because I figured if I have better airport scenery around the world I would see more AI planes in places that I do fly. (North America and Europe)

Hey all, i have a new pc.pentium 4 2.8gig512ddr ram80gig hddgeforce fx go5600I have tried all drivers old 1's new 1's on this video card. i have all latest drivers for everything else. and yes i completely remove the old 1's b4 i install the new 1's. so how come i still have this 2 panel problem wheras the 2d panel is just a black screen???? and all other views work fine!!! Is there anything else i can do? plz help me, for the first time in my life i have a comp able of playing fs2k4 smooth and i cant play cos of this! help me plzzzzlol thanx ian

I have just about finished my very first scenery project (freeware), but it has taken me so long to learn the basics, that I have not been able to learn about AFCAD/AI aircraft, but I think that my scenery really needs this to add that "extra bit of something".Is there anyone out there (in our FS family) that could possibly provide me with AI aircraft and possibly even static aircraft that could be used in my addon project?If you could help, please look first at my site, http// capncolwa21.mysite.freeserve.com to see what my scenery looks like (I will be updating it very shortly). Hi AllMy apologies if this is the wrong forum but i wonder if anyone has experienced the problem of creeping whenever the aircraft is in slew mode, ill explain.When trying to design scenery selected aircraft and took off numblock and pressed 'Y' to enter slew mode. Instead of my aircraft standing still it is slowly moving to the right as i look at it. If i press 5 (freeze) it stops but once i release the key it continues to creep to the right. If for example i press 4 to move left it fights me and will go left eventually but still trying to pull to the right. The same happens when i press 8 to go forward or 2 to move back it ends of going in a north east direction if pres…

I saw on Guru website the new Nvidia (beta) drivers 53.30 They have a paragraph that worries me before you download:"These ForceWare (previously known as Detonator) drivers my friends are Quadro FX 1100/3000 drivers that originate from Dell. The .inf has been to support all nvidia graphics cards yet need to be considered BETA ! Personally I strongly recommend not to use them on a gaming platform. Quadro driver are very specific and you'll likely loose something somewhere in the gaming process, history has learned that over and over."... Hello!I have problems using AFCAD2 for FS9.Having installed FSUIPC (but not registered;Lee Swordy said it wasn't necessary), I still can't slew round airports and AFCAD doesn't lock to the sim.Does anyone know what could be wrong?I even reinstalled my OS including all applications today to geta new and fresh setup.Still doesn't work.Do I have to register FSUIPC to make it work?Grateful for any help.........Thanks!Hans HermanssonSWEDEN

I began using VATSIM this week and I suspect I have been suspended.Today I got connected several times and every time I had no controllers, traffic or anything, not matter how long I waited. I did a search and found that there are some good new cloud textures out there for FS9. Do any of the new textures solve the default lack of solid (no see through) overcast?

Today I flew from Amsterdam to Milan using a FFX 737-300. When I was adjusting the fuel it kept telling me I was over wieght even with as little as 40% fuel in each tank and 0 on the payload. Was this because I was using a default 737 panel in the plane?(never made it to Milan cause FS crashed to desktop, might of been the seasonal crash to desktop thing I read about here....happened yesterday to on a flight from ORD-BOS)

I just configured my PC to receive COX Communications standard rate hi-speed internet service and I downloaded a dozen files from AVSIM and another noted flightsim website for testing. Normally my dial-up permits me to download about 3K/sec. accelerated to 6K/sec using the excellent Internet Download Manager utility.The COX HSI service seems to be several hundred time faster than this. I achieved downloads of zip files of well over 2MB/sec. and perhaps closer to 5 MB or even 10MB/sec. for smaller files. I have noticed the past few days that my Ultimate Traffic does not have American Airlines. I first noticed it at the wonderful KBOS scenery all the AA gates are empty. Then I went to my home airport (KORD) and no AA. Does anyone know if I have to download an additional pack that includes American or is my install just bad? ThanksRegan

Anyone know how to use an225 as AI?I'm using an124 and everything is fine. When I'm trying to use an225, he's ok in the air, but I cant get him to show up on the ground, when he's landing, he's disappearing few seconds after touchdown (just like others Ai when there are no gates available).But there are many gates available... so is he too big for AI or... hmm?? any ideas?Jacek

HI simmers Realism is top priority for most I guess, and in fact sometimes FS seems so real (and the sim-pilot so brilliant, he, he) that it almost become too much of a frustration not to be sitting in the clouds for real...But, alas, real flying costs money, so I guess I'll have to stay tied to the screen until my soon to be degree starts giving me some cash. Hopefully within the next ten years, sigh... So, one of the ways I get the "real" feeling is by reading real pilot-stories that spell out details of a flight experience and then translating that into the sim. After adding the Flight one 421C and some repaint to my fleet I added them to UT repaints of Cape Air, Nantucket Airlines and Island Airlines which all have routes in UT. But dont see the planes. Does this mean that i also have to add the flightplans for these airlines? The schedules are there in the status board and the routes show on the map but dont know why I can see the airlines. I have the unpainted airlines of UT enabled. If I do have to add the flightplans which is available how do I go about it since I only want to use certain paint schemes once which I set already in UT?Many thanks for any help.NP

my friend and me are trying to fly online by connecting to each others computer directly in multiplayer.Now the past month or two we had nothing else than problems :first there were connection problems :he changed OS to Windows XP and reinstalled everything.we are using teamspeak an FSHostSpy.Now his problem :when he goes online he cannot control his aircraft: it goes up and down, sinks into the ground etc... : it is like his joystick is broken.After reinstallation of FS2002 everything is fine, but the moment we go online he has no control over the a/c, even afterwords when not flying online.
