Two things I would love to see either as a freebie or even, dare I say it, as payware by some creative designer is a pushback tug (like in FSAssist 2002 but with rolling wheels) and a working gate that swings or extends out to meet your aircaft perhaps when you apply the parking brake.Surely with all the automation going on these days this is now feasable?

Hi,Does anyone experience a crash to desktop with FS2004 ???I have it on a new computer, fresh mounted.AMD 3200 - ASUS A7N8X-8 Motherboard with 512 MEg of RAM - Pixelview GEforcce FX 5600 XT 128 Mg with Forceware drivers 53.03for Win 2000 Pro.There is in my opinion an issue with the video or the RAM. I do have too much black screen also when toggling between views.Sometimes, when toggling, I do see for a short moment the last open menu screen. Very strange. It is a machine just dedicated to FS. Nothing else installed.The only Add-ons are the Mesh scenery by Lago but I have them on a other computer running stable.Thanks and peacefull Xmas to all.Roger

I have been flying the excellent freeware F16. I have been thinking about maybe going for the Lago version. Can anyone give any input on this. I was interested in the different models availible for the Lago version and I have really liked what I see in the panel. I just hope to get a little help in making the decision. Thank youAndrew

Hello there guys, due to the fact that every post of this matter is not "published" on PSS forum, I would like to share my thoughts with all the guys that have PSS A320 and cannot fly it on FS9.The thing is that FS9 has been out for months and still PSS has not released the patch for our and their A320. I think I can speak for all of us that we love this product or others from PSS. We love the way they help us when we have some tech problem with the a/c. But despite it, the fact is that we cannot fly the bird on FS9. Apparently they decided to first cure A330/340 and then take care of A320. I realised yesterday that I am unable to make a transatlantic flight plan from Europe to North America regardless of departure and/or arrival points without having a flight plan made by MSFS9 going through ADREW intersection (somewhere in Alaska I believe), which of course is unacceptable and creates problems with FMC airplanes which will reject the flight plan EVEN if you amend it manually to make it realistic and according to published transatlantic routes, the FMC keeps the original distance and computes the fuel range accordingly, i.e. including ADREW even after you deleted it.Is there a way to circumvent this problem and if so how?Note: No such problems for trans pac…

Can someone please tell me the correct method of installing the Navdata for FSbuild 2.1.......Do i install it to the FSbuild Directory or to the Fs2004 directory?Thanks

Over the years, I've seen people ask for various things, and sometimes being answered by a rather curt "try doing a search" Well, I have to say I find this "searching" easier said than done. I'm looking for a B747 panel with FMC,So I type "B747 panels" in fs2002. It gives me 3 files, all colour changes ( but no actual panel)So I type "Boeing747 panels" It gives me zilch. Is there a secret code? If I want 747 panels, should I type something like "Views from Mars" Only joking, but you see what I mean,but, how the heck do you tell it to look for B747 panels? I just find it far more frustrating than tediously going thro' every file.Russell.

Greetings,I want to get some more scenery and needed some input from those who know more about this than myself. I read that RealScene2004 was just released. The original RealScene got good reviews when it was reviewed by Avsim for FS2002. I used to have the FSGenesis scenery for the four major areas of the US. I went to their web site to see what they have and there are so many choices, it'll make your head spin. They have 76.4 meter terrain, 38.2 meter enhanced terrain, 9.6 meter terrain, etc. Then they throw the landclass at you. At FSGenesis alone, you could buy a bunch of different scenery areas just to cover the US. I just want some good looking scenery, prefe…

Hi, over the last few years, I have struggled with my PFC control quadrant as well as trying to get it to run within FS okay.. now with FS9, it is no exception... using the pfc.dll and fsuipc DOES cause hangs on exit, and during situation saving. Without those modules and unfortunately the use of my control console, there is never a problem....Since recently upgrading to WinXP, I have had out of memory errors when using PMDG 737. I recently (yesterday) reformatted my drive and have reinstalled FS9, using it right out of the box as of now, using the default aircraft with the execption of using my PFC quad ...meaning the .dlls are back! And yes, even on my "new" XP computer…

After I close FS9, it still shows active in my process group in winxp. Any way to fix this? Causes my computer to run very slow even after closing it.

I just recently got the CH yoke and pedals which work perfect. My problem is that in both sims I have the sensitivity maxed (far right) and the null to 0. I still need more elevator and some aileron sensitivity, for my add-on planes aren't as responsive as the default ones.Any help?? Chris

In Madeira Airport I see a very strange phenomenon: the sea water climbs the cliffs and almost reaches the runway!Is this a problem with my installation, or has someone else experienced the same problem? In that case is there any known fix for it?

Any free flight planners for FS2004, that will export to FS2004 and Squawk Box. I was using NAV3, but deleted it with my FS2002. When I try to install a new NAV3 it won't work with FS2004. Any ideas? Thanks, Bob McDuff

I've been using the upgrade that has been available here at Avsim for quite a while, the one where you have to manually change config settings. Is it worth downloading the official upgrade from this unofficial one?

The creative folks at MS still need to fix this issue. Even in cloudy weather, aircraft and building shadows appear as if in full sunshine. Do we have to wait for fs10 to see this dealt with?EytanLLHA

I am having great problems flying when i use fsmeteo to provide me with real world weather.Winds and barometric changes are just to sudden and the winds are way to strong, making flying impossable. I have the latest versions of fsmeteo and the FSUIPC module. I have tried setting up the fsuipc to control these changes better but, things are still may to sharp.Results include altitude changes or a few hundred feet, wind changing directions by almost 180 degrees and the wind speed gusting to high ammounts.Are these known problems, and is it possable to tame it down.

Hello all. I have downloaded and installed the FFX 737-500 and an American Airlines FFX 737-400. What I cannot seem to do is get the amazing looking panel/interior textures to show up. All the site says about this is that they must be put in the "2002 Textures folder," however, I am using FS2004 (FS9, as it were) and have tried putting the textures into the main textures folder AND into the particular aircraft's texture folder. Neither has yielded any results.Also, I'm assuming there is no VC for these planes given the cool engine/wing view. If I had the nice interior textures/panel I wouldn't care about VC a bit!Thanks for any help folks!GRIZ
