Does anyone know where I can find textures or models for Arnz (ai)in American Airlines? I searched the file library but couldn't find any here. Just wondered if anyone knows where else I can look. (I tried Arnz site and none there either). Thank you.

There are a multitude of available setting with the ATI 9800XT card which are very confusing. As anyone come up with the best combination of setting for FS2004?. My system isIntel P4 3.0ghz 1Gig DDR400 RAM ATI 9800XT card, 120Meg Serial ATA H/DThanksAndrew.

There is a strange glitch bedeviling FS9. There are isolated moments when you are cruising along and suddenly FS9 shuts down unexpectedly and throws you to the desktop. No error message, no nothing.A fix circulated here on the forums from a German site relating to the change of seasons. However, even after applying the fix, the random exit still occurs for me. I wondering if it might actually be certain geographical spots in FS9. One occurrence to me was at about 34 miles East of Bergen, Norway on a flight from Oslo. I happened to have saved a mode right before the shutdown. I went back 4 times and got the same shutdown at the same spot. It was on the 5th time that I slew…

They said .... "The release is very near as the A330-300 mdl is done to.. For now the engine variants ge, and pw are attached to the mdl. and the paintkit will arrive this week.. Release date for now is still early till mid december.... We are trying to hand it out on 6th dec, but if the paints take longer as expected it will get pushed back do 24th dec. wich will be latest release date so expect a release within the 6th and the 24th. I have a problem since I got FS 2004 when I fly for some reason my pitch goes all the way up and I cant change it. If I turn on autopilot the plane just nosedives. I also noticed that when i just get in a plane the pitch is at normal is moved to the upper position. Can someone please help me? Yuri Sheykman

I know this has been discust before and I saw where there are major bridges missing in NYC and Tampa areas.I was wondering if any of the missing bridges in the Tampa Bay area and the New York City area have been made? I did a search but it didn't find anything, I not sure if the bridges haven't been made yet or they have been made and Im using the wrong keywords to search for them. Also what were some of the other major bridges missing in FS2004 (I found the Coronado bridge)

If you don't own a force feedback joystick, or always thought it was a waste of money, you're going to want to buy one, and you'll certainly change your mind about the "realism" and fun associated with such a stick ( I recommend the Microsoft FF2). A while ago I remember seeing something about editing the fs9.cfg so that no matter what autogen/ scenery complexity you were set to you could always see the cars/gates/taxiways. I dont want autogen but I need to have it on in order to see taxi lines and other objects at airports. I want no autogen but would still like to have all of the other goodies... is this possible?ThanksBilly

Iit possible in FS9 to remove the default tail number (I hate the display method) and still have ATC work? I do repaints and want to use ATC but don't want the tail number to display on the a/c.Any help appreciated.Ray

Maybe someone can shed some light on this problem. I'm running an HP Pavilion 933 (XP home) with an onboard 16 mb Vanta card/chip. I've upped the RAM to 512 (on a 133 bus), and have really nice results with FS2002. Thinking I might want to run FS9 on this system (a challenge, I know), I thought a new video card might be in order. So, not wanting to buy a card worth more than the computer, I bought a Radeon 9600SE 128. I installed the card, drivers, etc., and experienced an unacceptable drop in FPS and the loss of some texturing on certain aircraft. I installed the new 3.10 drivers and experienced the same thing.Upon removing the card, and installing new nVidia drive…

Hello everyone, got a question. Does anyone know if it is possible to disable the "reset" after you crash; so if you crash, it doesn't reset back to the last map point, just stays focused on the crash. Right now, even if you pause it right as you crash, it still resets.

:-hmmm i have a saitek cyborg 3d gold usb joystick and win xp home with updates, now it works but i noticed that the yaw (the twisting action) does not center! - i have a registred ver if fsuipc and ive tried to configure it using that and that did not help, i try d/l the latest saitek drivers from ther home page and that doesnt even recognise the joystick! but yet, win xp does see it, ive calibrated it under win xp and still no good, the all other axis work fine. except rudder, i allways have to twist in a little right to keep it straight other wise it will turn leftany ideas anyone?thanksciao!Brian S

Hello Gang!I am in the process of installing a scenery for SCEL (Santiago, Chile's Intl. Airport - AMB). The scenery is very nice indeed, and comes equipped with an AFCAD file. This is an FS2002 scenery, therefore, the AFCAD file configuration is a .txt file, rather than a .bgl file, as it is in FS2004.Can a good soul out there enlighten me as to how easy or how difficult it would be to convert the AFCAD file for SCEL to an FS2004 AF2_SCEL.bgl file so my AI can park at the right spots in this new airport scenery?Thanks in advance for any help!Sincerely,Dennis D. Good morning !I am planning to initiate a series of flights throughout the Americas and I would like to do it on a good single engine aircraft. Would you please recommend me one? I have thought of the Carenado's Centurion or one of the Flight1 beauties, unless you know of a good freeware aircraft that is FS2004 designed and comes with good documentation and panel. Hi all!At last my dad has agreed to install the graphics card of my dreams on the PC: the GeForce FX5200 128MB!!!!! It's the best I can afford at the moment and I've been waiting for it for a long time.Anyway, it says on the bax that it supports up to 8 AGP slots on the mobo, and we only have 4 on ours...what will that change in the performance of the card?Looking forward to hearing form ya!cya!Matti

I noticed some of the helicopter models have a dust effect when landing on dirt? Does anyone know how to edit the model to add it to those that don't have it?

Has anybody produced replacement textures for the ugly blue and completely unbelievable VC raindrops (that are all presently named *.bak in my texture folder :)?
