Hello All, I have been wondering a lot, how do I get the Pushback turning to work? I looked in MSFS2004's Help Section and just says to Push, Press Shift+P and then 1 or 2. I did this and it didn't work. It would help greatly because when Online ATC Tells me to push tail south, and my tail is facing west I could turn. Any suggestions on how to get this to work??

Would someone kindly suggest where to find information about how to implement AFCAD files in MS2004 to show airport traffic? Many thanks, Rudi.

I know that this will sound like a stupid question -- but just when does AI traffic fly? For example, let us say that I am flying in a certain area - I know that AI traffic is flying in my area because I can see and hear them. But is it also flying in other areas at the same time. Are there 'thousands" of little AI a/c flying all around the world where I am not flying and won't be flying. If so, is the computer doing lots of computations that aren't needed -- what effect does this have on FPS performance. Is it in any way possible to "turn off" AI traffic in other parts of the world where I am not flying.Hope you get my drift.Thanks Barry

Can anybody tell me if AFCAD2 for FS9 will also work in FS2002, andif so, does one have to delete the FS2002 AFCAD file? Or, can oneuse ARCAD2 files with the original FS2002 AFCAD folder??Thanks for your helpJumbo

I have an ongoing problem when changing views in FS9. As soon as I minimize FS9 (to start another program, etc.) and then come back the Cockpit view is gone. Virtual Cockpit is OK, Spot and Tower, OK. I end up having to switch to windowed mode and then push Shift + 1 to try and somehow get back the main cockpit view. Eventually it works but this is a royal pain. Any others have this issue?Mark.

Hi guy's,I was wondering what other people's settings are in the visibility and clouds settings. What gives you the best overall quality and performance. I've been playing around with the settings but can't seem to decide as I don't know what some of the settings actually do if modified. If you have any insight as to what the values should/could be set to, please tell me.ThanksMikkel

Does anybody know what has happened to either of the two sites above? Although you can still access them, they do not seem to have had any updates or new aircraft/paints for a considerable time.

I am new to all of this voice stuff. I have set AVC up with Vatsim and online flying and it works fine. My question is , Can I talk with another pilot privatly. Gday guys just got a quick question!Im a student Pilot in Australia and we use the QNH standard 1013hpa.Now all the FS aircraft seem to use the QNE 29.92 inches standard.My question is can you setup flightsim to work on the QNH standard?I've looked but cant find it! I thought you would have the option of QNE or QNH on yor Altimeter as both are major standards! I thought QNE is only used in the USA and Canada! and most of the world uses QNH. I have downloaded Pillai Praveene VOCI airport scenery but evenwith the FS2002 patch it causes the simulator to hang whilstloading the elevation scenery at the 16% stage. I have sent an Email to Pillai but evidently it has not beendelivered.Have anyone else had this problem and if so how did you resolveit. Clearly, with the issue of a FS2002 patch to stop FS2002`crashing` the designer knew there was a problem but the patchhas not achieved its objective.Jumbo

Not sure whether I'm in the right forum here. I have the freeware AVG6.0 antivirus. Trouble is, you only know if you have trouble when you run it. Does the Pro ver. stop virus's before they can infect, or at least warn you that it is trying to. These last few weeks, I've had a few, after my son has had his mates round ( I wonder why ) Any advise would be welcome.Russell.

hello! I jsut received FS9 and am very excited! I usually post on airliners.net and they told me to come here!First thing I did was install a whole bunch of AI fleets from PAI.Also, I dnlded this afcad 2 installer program but am not sure what I am to do with it. I tried to download that fsfrance Concorde but I am having trouble installing its guages and flying it, thinking it may be the flight dynamics. How can I remedy this? Help....please!I've had FS9 for a week or so, and have a couple of questions that no doubt you can help me with.Firstly, I was flying into Marseille (not that that matters!)and was given a visual approach, which I promptly changed to an ILS approach. I have a FFX 737-300 in a Southwest livery and I would like to change the registration number on the plane and add the blue color to the main landing gear hubs.I have never painted a plane before, so could someone give me some steps on how to make those changes I mentioned? I have WinXP (pro) and I heard (not sure where I heard it from) it comes with a paint program, but where do I find it? (only had WinXP for like 2 weeks, so it's still rather new to me)If WinXP does not come with a paint program then you can just forget this whole thread :-lol

Taking my Kids down to Pearson tomorrow for some Spotting. Can anyone reccomend where I can obtain Departure/Arrival Listings a day in advance, the Official Pearson site is only good for about 5 hours ahead.Secondly, I know Weather will dictate the Runways in use. Hey All,Please do not bash me. I am still an FS Newbie, especially when it comes to VOR navigation, SIDS and STARS and flying on VATSIM. I want to get connected to VATSIM and fly online after almost a year. Would anyone please give me some constructive guidance on how to do this as I have all but completely forgotten. Anyone downloaded and tried it yet?Just wondering if it solves the radical shifting winds aloft problem with MSFS download weather.Since it appears to use FSUIPC, then maybe FSUIPC can correct the wild winds.Adam

I think it is impossble to land 747 and 777 with ILS using a joystickthe only way I can land them is using the APR bottom and auto piloton and control the throttle only for ALT when landing using the throttle Quadrant. FLAPS 30 speed 168-172 on the runway in Redding,CA

I just installed fs9 on my new rig and I cannot find the fs9 cfg file.On my old machine it was located doc_settings/my_name_/application data/microsoft/fs9.I searched the entire computer and it cannot be located.The games runs fine so I am not sure what is going on.Any help would be appreciated.I am using a RAID 0 config could it be hidden or do I have some xp settings turned off.Thanks

Could some please provide the link, or the file, for the software to program the buttons on the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick?I cannot locate the original disk and MS no longer supports the product.Thanks a lot,Howard
