I have had the PM2 Concorde since January when you guys first made the version for 2004. For the first week weeks, it has been great. But now, after I try to load the Concorde to use, when I go to choose the panel that I will use, it crashes my entire flight sim. Any help? As it shuts down, I get this a Microsoft errors type window. AppName: fs9.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.30612 ModName: cm_conc_hrs.gau ModVer: 1.0.0.0 Offset: 00001670 How can I fix it? Wouldn't this be nice to have? A hot key that could be used to increase or decrease scenery density on the "fly." Need higher frames during approach? Just reduce density with one keystroke. Maybe this is just a dream!!!!!!!Airbus

I've installed the generic panel by Guy De Smit.I can't get any of the gauges to show up. I've installed both the "gauges" and "XML gauges" in the gauge folder of FS9.Do I need something special for the XML gauges? Thanks Bob McDuff

I am getting closer to upgrading to a new computer. Either a laptop for travel (yet, I doubt there is anything great for simming on in that area ...as good as a desktop machine) or a nice desktop.I recently plugged in a USB virtual pilot pro and was horrified that USB in use, cuts down framerates in FS9 by 40% on my older P4 1.5 with USB v1. Is this the case on a newer computer with the USB2.0? If so I guess I better stay with analog old pilot pro with a new machine.I really love the Saitek stick / throttle combo seen in most stores. It has the most real feeling stick and throttle I have ever felt compared to real aircraft. Is this a great product or not? However with USB…

Hi,how is it possible to observe or to track or to teleport to a ai plane? Would like to see the different ai planes in air and so, or is that not possible.In FU3 there was a special key combination and one was "sitting" in the ai plane. I there anyone out there that knows whey certain aircraft require excessive up-trim while trying to maintain level flight in FS9. I have the FFX 737-200 and when watching the aircraft in external view at 31,000ft I've noticed the horizontal stabilizer pitched at an angle that would cause most other aircraft to stall out do to an excessive nose up pitch angle. The FFX bird needs this to maintain level flight. The rest of the fuselage has the correct pitch angle in level flight, it just seems the trim setting is off. So how does one correct the trim setting of an aircraft so the correct amount of trim is used in flight versus this unrealistic pitch angle I'm seeing from t…

I am trying to evaluate and purchase a good flight planner/ navigation aid for FS2004.I am familiar with FSNavigator but have always found it to be a little more difficult to learn and I don't know how to create a flight plan.I tested FSbuild and I like it but it's only for building flight plans.Flightsim Commander looks like a great combination of both FSNavigator and FSBuild.. am I correct? Does anyone use this? I'm wondering what your opinions are, what you use and why..I want to by just one package.. if that's possible..Thanks!Jeff

Good Day. I am looking for a GOOD Airbus 340-600/500 in Air Canada or South African colours. A friend recommended Simubuild's A340-600 but I have been unable to locate it. I was wondering which is better? Simubuild or Flightcraft? How can i merge the PSS 340 panel with the SB or FC model? most importantly, WHERE can i find the simubuild base pack? I finally decided to take the plunge and purchased fs9 a week or so ago, at first I hated it, dreadful frame rates, default scenery over my favourite area (European Alps) so unrealistic, I couldn't disable the force feedback on my old and trusted MS forcefeedback Pro, and of course I couldn't use my beloved DF737. After a bit of playing around with various settings I got the frame rates just about acceptable on my modest Athlon 1900/Radeon 8500 system (those clouds are absolute FR killers though), I downloaded Raimondo Taburet's Alps mesh (156mb/8 hours) and the scenery was once more reasonable (though not quite as good as Lago's Terramesh on my fs2002 setup), and unplugg…

Hi,Every now and then I notice screenshots in the Screenshots Forum that shows a couple of guys having fun formation flying with fast jets like the Eurofighter, F-16 etc...Well I would love to do some formation flying like this using multiplayer if anyone is interested? I have had a problem with add on aircraft probe heat. I first started having the problem after I added the LAGO Falcon. My airspeed would go to zero. I fixed that by making a joystick assignment for shift + H. The problem continues and was only fixed by actually using shift + H so I deleted the assignment. I have been flying the PMDG 737 and 1900 and they have click spots for probe heat. I still have airspeed of zero shortly after takeoff with each of these aircraft. Can anyone think of anything that could help in FS9.Thanks

But I wait until most of the sceneries add-on and planes were ready to run on it.I found plenty issues to let me continue with it, however I'm finding it more unstable, since it's crashing constantly. Due to circumstances out of my control (a Non-simmingGirlfriend) I am unable to buy one of the more realisticyokes on the market and have to manage with a low endforce-feed joystick, but like all simmers I am striving forthe most realistic flight experience with the hardwareavailable to me. Im just starting to look at this afcad phenom today. I downloaded an afcad and installed it the directory in the readme for KATL. Did not really see much. Can I assume I need to install something like ultimate traffic in order to really get the most out of afcad files for an airport?TIA

Still can't solve the stutters and pauses issue. I am getting good performance otherwise, 15-20 fps, most sliders midrange, and I get those annoying pauses and stutters in 2D view, and they get worse during turns. Virtual view isn't that bad, just an occasional stutter. I have a P4 2.8 with 1 gig rdram, and a NVIDIA GF4 TI-4600 128 meg card. I am flying the DF Cardinal, Archer, or FSD Seneca most of the time. I also have the 38.2 FSGenesis terrain and Landclass scenery installed. Someone suggested setting sound volume to low instead of high, but there's no difference. Everything would be fine if I could get rid of those darn stutters!:-lol Thanks. Tom

I just realized that even though I'm launching FS9 from it's standard shortcut, my recently used application list on my Start button shows FS9 in "safe mode" see below. From what I can tell, I have been running fine.
