I'm looking for any kind of scenery (whether it is mesh, airport, landmarks, etc.) covering Cairo and Alexandria in Egypt. Does anyone know of any?Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have a problem with the realair C172. The LED digits for the COM1 and NAV1 radios are very weak and indistinct. Why? I have to use the pop up window to see the values.Also the same problem with the LED in the cockpit to the right of NAV1 and NAV2.Even some digits in the Clock is indistinct though not weak.

I am reinstalling FS9. I have done some things to it over the month that make me want to start fresh. Pain in the butt with all the scenery and aircraft and tweaks I have done. But that's why documentation when you do it is good ;-)My question is regarding compressing the FS9 folder in windows. Is this still considered a performance gain at all? I know a few months back that thread had some life. After a few months of running FS9 I was wondering what people thought of it at this time.I'm doing a monster defrag as we speak... Sometimes when you download scenery you need to put textures in the main texture folder of FS2004 (like Nova Gold textures)Is there a tool the will remove those textures if you decide not to keep a scenery that uses those textures? Or a tool that removes unused textures from the main texture folder?

I have a gusty wind sound that starts after I download Real World Weather that I cannot turn off. It does not matter if the Real World Weather wind speed is zero and is present in any flight, anywhere, anytime. Has anyone experienced this or something similar and know how to turn it off? Thanks,

The POSKY 757 with VC is a wonderful piece of freeware -- but the texture sizes are so large that it sends my system into overload with much Hdd thrashing when changing views. I remember a posting where you used a programme called DXTBMP to reduce the file sizes of the textures -- but have forgotten how to use it.Can anybody find the post that says what to do?Thanks Barry

Why is it there seems to be no kill switch for the Lear? It's disconcerting to not be able to shut down after a satisfying flight.

All,I rarely fly this FS9 default jet, but today I decided to try it out. My learjet 45 was completely shutdown from the start. I just can't find the avionic master switch. Where is it on the this jet? Also, I can't turn on the radio stack or my GPS! Is this because of the avionic master not on? I appreciate your help!David

Hi All,First of all, let me say that all of the scenery I've installed from ISD (FS2002 and FS2004) has been excellent! They continue to get even better in their scenery efforts for Italy. I've installed Milano VFR and well as Linate and they are truly works of art. Malpensa as well. Also, framerate friendly on my old system. It may be worth a visit for A320 fans to ifdg.net.... The site's still being worked on, but the forums are active and there's new preview shots of the '320... It looks outstanding, with great attention to detail right down to the static wicks off of the flap pylons... There is a lot of addons in form of airports scenere etc designed tobe used with FS2002. I would like to know if it is certain that they will work as well in Fs2004? Or should I await specific FS2004 versions?

Hello.I just stated in the Eric Marciano panel post that i'm having problems using Tony D'ambrosio's Navigation Data and the Eric Marciano panel. The Navigation Data software is designed for FS2002, I tried to install it in FS2004, but i can't make it work with the A320 panel. Does anybody has the same problem that i have?.Thanks a lot,Pedro.

Has anyone found a way to change the color of the on-screen text? I'm specifically referring to the displays of altitude and airspeed, etc, i.e. the "Z series". I have a color vision problem and red just gets lost in the background a lot of the time. I'd love to be able to change it to some color I can actually see most of the time.Jim

I have found that many of the panels for FS9 do not have asimulation rate change feature (usually found on the clock). The "hot key" to change the rate is suppose to be "R", but nothing happens when I hit the R key. Does anyone know whether it is possible to adjust the sensitivity of the up / down view adjustment in FS9.cfg or panel.cfg ?I find that when using the Shift/Enter and Shift/Backspace to raise / lower the view, the view changes too much at each key press and I would like to adjust the degree of movement in the view.Best regards,Stuart Hyett

I know this has been mentioned before but I had to comment on this again because my stutters are GONE plus framerates overall have improved. 1. If you go into your Display Properties under the Settings Tab you'll (usually) find a screen that shows monitor 1 and 2. 2. Click on monitor 2 and go into advanced settings. Find the tab that has the Hardware Acceleration options.3. TURN OFF HARDWARE ACCELERATION ON THIS SECOND VIRTUAL MONITOR, (you only need this if you have a laptop/docking station situation)...That's it and it actually make since. Untill a few weeks ago I managed my sceneryfiles simply in the sceneryliberary of MSFS 2004. Last week I couldn't delete files anymore. That means: I delete the addon scenery files from my sceneryliberary. After closing msfs and restarting (parts) of the scenery do still appear. Even deleting the scenery from the the map Addon scenery doesn't have any influence. Anybody an idea what might be going wrong here?Herman
