I remember seening screenshots of a very nice looking payware scenery of the Honolulu International airport, but can't remember which company made the scenery. Does anyone know who made it?

Don't know why, but I'm getting engine fires on the POSKY 747 on takeoff. I've tried applying less thrust, just enough to get airborne, but dosn't seem to help. Anyone else getting this? Nice graphics, but they stay--loading a new type of aircraft dosn't take them away, I have to end the flight and restart it. But I think the idea is to fly it in such a way that the engines don't blow up in the first place, I just want to know what I'm doing wrong. :-)billg

I was hoping that someone could share a link or point me where to go to download the FFX/SGA B727-200 base pack for FS9. I have looked everywhere and all I find is textures for the base pack, but no base pack.Any help would be awsome!!ThanksBrett

While flying I accedentally hit the 'E' key on the keyboard and now I can only control the left engine throttle with my throttle on my CH flight yoke. I have presses the 'E' key several times to select the right engine, but the throttle on my flight yoke and the throttle key on my keyboard will only control the left engine.Is there any way to get the throttle to control all engines on a multi-enigne airplane while in flight, without re-starting the sim?Thanks!Scott :-)

I use Windows ME on a computer I built myself. It has very little by way of software which starts up behind the scenes. I can typically get typically get free System Resources in the mid 90% range at start up. I was getting around 15 FPS on the ground or in the air. (Not too good to start with, I know.) I now am getting 9 to 10 FPS and lots of stutters. I get this whether I use FSAutostart or not. Seems odd, since the concept of the program makes a lot of sense, but that's my experience. Hi There,Due to work I have not been able to play FS for many many months. Yesterday I decided to buy FS2004, and thus far very impressed :).In FS2002 if I remember correctly AI traffic would go direct from airport to airport and not use waypoints as with our own created flight plans.In FS2004 is this still the case? Will AI aircraft take off and then assume a direct route to the airport, or do they follow waypoints. I heard the ATC has been improved with IFR flights etc, but I do not know to what level.If not and AI do still fly direct, is there any 3rd party software that simulates this better?Thanks for any help.

Does anyone know of a "hotkey" or some way to temporarily turn off AI traffic during your approach and landing, then turn it right back on again? I love to fly with other planes but don't like to take the FPS hit when smoothness counts most.Best,Joel

I've been searching around various file libraries in search for a good short hop airliner, turboprop prefered, but short hop jet would be fine. With a dynamic Virtual cockpit, anyone have some good ideas? I didn't look through the FS2002 planes well, but if theres a real good one go ahead and post it. I downloaded that russian one, it's great, but I have a heck of a time reading the gauges, any others? Thanks! ty89m

I've just acquired a computer with Windows 2000 professional as the operating system. It had COMBAT flight sim 1 enstalled, but it will NOT enstall my joystick. Microsoft's Sidewinder website says that it should work, it does NOT with the original drivers (1998). I can NOT find any new drivers to make it work. Anybody have any info on this problem? I took a FLT from KLAS to KSLC lastnight and I noticed at FL310 I had some slight stutters outside my left window.I use MSFS weather and clouds and was flying a PMDG 737NG,UT set @80%,Frame Lock at 20,Weather was mostly cloudy Cumulus Tops @ 12,000 AGL.My FPS straight was ~19 Left side ~14 and Rightside ~9.When I reduced my MipMap from 4 to 3 I saw an increase of about 2 FPS and the slight stutters got smoother.In my ATI control panel I have a slider under 3D for mipmap where should I place this slider and what is the optimum number withing FS9 to use for mipmapping ?? Does a program like FSMETAR help with weather ??Thanks

Hi,Does anybody here know what the current state of play is regarding an FS2004 compatibility patch for the PSS Avro Vulcan XH558?This fine a/c does work in FS2004 but was originally modelled for use in FS2002.A month or so back I asked a question in the PSS Support Forum regarding the absence of the engine howl which is heard as the engines were wound up to full power in FS2k2. The first response (not from the PSS Support Staff) stated that this and other issues would be addressed in an FS9 update. Hi all, I have downloaded and installed RXP's Jetline 2 Gauges today. However, when I start up FS9 and load a panel with these gauges, ADI and HSI seem to be in a standby mode or something like that. Only the Reality XP banner and red, green & blue rectangles (propably for color calibration) are displayed.I've already read the manual but couldn't find and answer to this issue, so any help is apreciated.Thanks in advance,Holger.

Purchased a download item from avsim store -- no download, no correspondence/confirmation, but apparently charged twice for the item (scenery upgrade). I cannot communicate with the store, and if I can, it isn't obvious how to do so. Any suggestions please. Greg.

I keep getting this error everytime I launch FS2002. I know that everyone has tuned the ATIS at airports to see where they are landing, what weather is like, etc. Well, just recently, I have been tuning it, and the green bar up top appears for like 1 second, and then it dissappears, and all I can hear is the sound, no scrolling green bar with white letters!

Does anyone know what issues are covered in this update? The press release was terse. I'm not sure I was even aware there was an update 2, unless it was one of the things released last summer in the very first weeks after the initial release.Does Flight1 still maintain a support forum? I know it used to do, but I didn't see a link on their main site.Thanks

Hi all,since I still saw nobody reporting this I thought I should inform you that the new pilot client software from Flightproject.net is available. After a non-successfull introduction in beginning december a complete rewriting of the unstable server software was necessary. This has been completed now together with some new enhancements to the pilot and controller software.
