Hi all,Do you think we should ask the mods to setup a freeware review forum? I think it would be a great idea - someone finds a good bit of freeware, writes a review with a few screens and then we would all learn about it.Also I think it would be good for developers as they would find out whats people think is good and bad about their release.What do all think?Cheers,

When I attempt to connect to Multiplayer, it searches, but never finds anything, no matter which on-line group I try to connect with....Any Ideas? I uninstalled FS9 because it was locking up when trying to fly with others, and re installed FS2002 without the FS9 to no avail. Really appreciate any help you can give me to resolve this problem Ednald

Hi - Does anyone know of a way to reset all of 2k4's settings at once?I imagine it may involve just trashing a file.Even better - is there a way to reset all the settings to a specific user setting? I want to baseline my system so I can experiment with frame rates.Thanks,Andrew

Hi, I was just looking in my FS9,cfg file and noticed the following (Weather) entry. I have never noticed this until now and I look at this file quite a bit. Was this entry automatically posted when I installed the latest version of FSUIPC? I really do not know how or when it was posted to my FS9.cfg file and what does FS9 use it for? Hi EverybodyFS 9 Hangs on me after a while....and I cannot shut it or C+Alt+Del in other words the FS keeps on running however all the options disappear and I cannot terminate it unless I hard reboot the compute.I Have a Dell XPS Gen 3, ATI Radeon 9800X 256CAN SOMEBODY HELP .......It always happens almost after 30 or 40 minutes of flying....HELPMakis:-mad

I was just flying PMDG's updated 737-700 and really getting into the features of their FMC. The VC has to be the best ever produced for FS2k4. It's so good that switching from 2D to 3D almost looks the same (you know how 2D panels used to always look a little better than the older VC's). It caused me to thinking back on my hopes for the updated PSS A320 which never happened... Imagine an A320 on the level of PMGD's 737... I'm really hoping the A320 doesn't get forgotten about during FS2k4's hour to shine. I hope someone surprises us and announces a Professional quality A320 is in production. It would be a shame to have Boeing's offering is so much detail and no Airbus…

i have a 2.4 gig processor, 512 megs of ram and a 128 meg video card. i'm considering getting some payware aircraft like GA aircraft or any big iron aircraft. i'm wondering if my machine will run any add ons like that. hopefully there are some framerate friendly ones out there. i bought a PSS 747 for fs2002 a year ago when i had a different machine and it bought it to its knees. it ran fs2002 just fine but just chugged along in a slide show with that add on so i returned it. i have fs9 now and it runs fine by itself. any advice or suggestions other than upgrading? i'll use the default a/c if i have to. william

I did some very thorough research on this ... - talked to scores of r/w B737 pilots- read my way through thousands of pages (flight manuals, flight crew training manuals, management reference guides, ... you name it)- dated a few r/w 737 flight attendants :-cool - hey, even paid good money for extensive training time in a TT&S full motion flight simulatorand all of a sudden it dawned on me - there's something seriously wrong with both the PMDG and Ariane 737 - in fact, even the MS default 737 suffers from the same weakness they don't actually fly :-eek But I'm almost certain I have it pinned down - it's the MS FS flight engine, ... that must be it ... :-mad -------…

i have noticed my landings in the cessna 182, since using less weight in the aircraft thus making it lighter, seem to make for a bouncy landing. when loaded with passengers and cargo making it heavier my landings were silk smooth, no bounce at all. are they to be expected with lighter weights? i've tried alot of different things but i still bounce. maybe i need to increase the weight enough to give a smoother landing? william

Hello all. I'm having a problem with increasing the data on a given instrument in smaller increments. When I go to adjust the Heading for the AP / FD it will adjust by 10 degrees per click most of the time and other times only by 1, 2, or 3 degrees. Basically there is no rhym or reason for the for the inputs I'm getting. It really becomes a pain when I'm trying to aim for a Heading that ATC calls for an I just end up overshooting and undershooting it. Hiya all,Recently I upgraded my PC to a 2.8mhz with 1gb mem.Settings in Fs2004 traffic at 100% I have got 1489 AI aircraft, 14341 flightplans and 23418 airports, however I don't see a lot of traffic at airports due to no Afcad(defaults i guess).Is there a adress where I can find a package of afcad files????? Well, over the past two or three weeks I did not play much FS, but when I did I could observe that it seems to be crashing on exiting back to desktop with unusual frequency. In the past, it almost never crashed or even locked up entirely, but now I have the impression that it is happening more often than ever before. It mostly happens after a longer flight - sometimes when exiting back to the menu after landing, sometimes when trying to exit the game back to the desktop - and will always result in the send/don't send dialogue. I also have the impression that it seems to happen only with specific airplanes with a high grade of detailing in one way or another. That, however…
