Guys, Andrej Urosevic has created some really excellent looking towers for various airfields. These look fantastic, but as they are macros, are for scenery construction. Is anybody using these and is there any uploaded scenery with these? I'd love to use these but have no idea how.ThanksEric

Either I am going crazy, my FS program is haunted, or I simply need information. I will assume that it's the latter.I use the e-dimenion AudioFX Force Feedback Headset (it's very nice, by the way)and while "fun" flying I am aware of faint voices in the background.Am I picking up a local AM or FM frequency or is there something I need to be hearing? If the last one, how do I increase the volume level? What leads me to believe it's not a radio broadcast is that while it is faint the words, intonation, delivery and overall speech pattern sounds repetitious.Thanks.Louis

I've had the Aerodesign 318 sitting in an archive and tried to install it for the first time tonight...I put everything where it is supposed to go and the aircraft loads fine. Looks like a beautiful model but I'm having a significant issue with the panel that I need help with.I have the full, registered, payware version of FSUIPC. When the panel loads, I get, what is best described as a publishing watermark, on the face of the PFD that says Airbus PFD by Eric Marciano. HiI have Ultimate traffic and added more of the Project AI etc flight shedules which has resulted in double landings and takeoff's of the same flight.What would be the best way to delete the duplicates, what do I need and how do I do it?many thanks for any assistance.Bob Wright

Oh yes!!! I too have now suffered from a CTD, but not from seasons or anything like that. It happened as soon as I unchecked "Render to Texture" in the display settings. Any suggestions (besides not unchecking "Render to Texture" :) )?

I did see some good freeware scenery here (the Francesco Romeo and Rainer Labie SABA is very good).I was wondering if anyone has seen some good payware (Lago has some but I could not find any screen shots or reviews).Anyone care to suggest some scenery? I have noticed that on some aircraft, when trying to get into the passenger cabin in VC mode, I find myself in the open air with no cabin textures visible.When viewing the same aircraft in SPOT view however, zooming right in will reveal the detailed passenger cabin.Is there anything I can "tweak" in aircraft or panel config files which will allow me to move back in VC mode into a visible passenger cabin?Without additional software if possible.:-)A good example of this is the excellent freeware Nord Aviation 262 which was recently released.

Hi AllI have adjusted my sliders in the option menu in order to gain more FPS and avoid those dreaded stutters.I have elimated the taxi signs and would like to get them back.Can someone tell me which slider controls the graphics for the taxi signs.Thanking in advance.Kenny G.

Has anyone figured out how to get this item to function?The switch directly below the landing gear lights is labeled item no. 27, "Auto-Brake" in the readme file. I assume that the light just above and to the left of this switch is also included for his function (And that the upper right light directly above the switch is not).One click turns the switch in the upper position and the light turns on, white color. One more click turns the light to a little darker white, a third click turns the light green, and a fourth click turns it red. I have had this problem for a while, but I was too lazy to ask about it. Now it's really getting annoying...I get pretty good framerates when the flight first loads, and I am sitting on the runway or parked somewhere (about 18 fps on average with most sliders maxed and full custom AI). But 90% of the time, when I increase the throttle or get pushed back, the framerates drop to around 1 frame per second!!! Sometimes it goes back up to normal levels after a few seconds, but other times it doesn't get better until I become airborne (and it always goes away the second my wheels leave the ground). Well I don't know about everybody else, I couldn't decide which one so I went and bought both (don't tell my wife!:D )Both are great visually and I'm sure their flight models are great to. However, I've never flown a real plane so I can't comment on that. I just love the Scout's "dirty" windows and those Flight1 Cessna seats look so comfortable. Just rememeber not to add full throttle on the Cessna on take off or you'll find the nose wizzing up into the air!One thing I have found though. When I use the Scout my ATC voices end up sounding totally distorted. My "voice" sounds ok though. Anybody else have this? Hmm. I can't open any of the additional 2d panels using SHIFT 1,…

Hi everyone,I have downloaded a panel from the AVSIM library for the B734 that requires the DF gauges. I have the DF B734 product, both as released for FS2000 and patched for FS2002.My question: If I install the FS2000 version, or even patch to the FS2002 version, won't FS9 balk at the incompatible gauges that it finds? Has anyone ever tried using older product gauges such as the DF B734?I also had heard that there was a work-around to get the DF product to run in FS9, but haven't figured out where to get it or even if it's legal per copyright.Thanks,Bruce.

My main copy of FS9 is on my C drive and has numerous bits and pieces some good some not so good.I am thinking of adding a second installation to my new D drive.I would like this to be my best of the best version with only the best tried addons added.How can I run two vesrions of FS9 on one computer without problems and how would I install the second version?ThanksPeter

For the longest time I've enjoyed the "Fly by" view offered by Active Camera. For some reason FS has decided to go back to the default "Tower View". The "Approach" view doesn't work either. Other than that everything works fine. I did a complete re-install of FS and Active Camera and got the same results. Serge with Active Camera was very helpful yet no luck. Everyone here is all of sudden saying that the Microsoft Cessna is a lousy plane just because F1 came out with their Skyhawk...Here's my take....First off, yes, I do fly the 172 in real life, just to get that out.Visual ModelFlight one's looks good but not great. The previously mentioned dihedral isn't what I'm talking about though although there should be some quite noticable dihedral on the wings. The windshield is too deep, and not curved enough. The wheels look too small, and the paint job needs overhaul. The nose of the skyhawk also needs to be looked at as it doesn't look like the nose section on any 172 I've flown. It is bugging me for a while now and I couldn't find an satisfactory answer...It has nothing to do with FS itself, but I thought this forum would be a good place to post it. Although it doesn't affect performance or anything I was always wondering since the very early days of computing, why are this machines so damn ugly? I think you know what I'm talking about...probably the ugliest color ever invented: The computer grey. The mix of light grey with a slight yellowish touch...what to say more? It is just plain ugly. Sea and ocean look a bit strange at night. Around my plane, only flying high (above fl 200) is see strange squares. I've included a screenshot (a bit dark, but it's at night, sorry) Is it a fault in my computer or do you have these strange effects to? Suggestions?thanks,herman leusman
