About a year ago Project Fokker announced they were making a updated version of the very good F-70 and F-100 models they made back in FS2002, then for about a year we didn't hear anything from them. Well now they are back! and the F-70 and F-100 v2's are back on track!http://fokker.avsim.net/I am so happy of this news! I loved the F-70 and F-100 in FS2002 but after I got FS2004 and hearing about the new models I deleted the first version models. Now we will finally have the new models soon!

I have FS9 installed with the patch and last few times I have gone into the program to fly all my assignments for my X-45 were gone.I had to reassign them again in the control settings screen.This has now happened 4 times and I have no idea whats going on,the x-45 shows up under the joystick and I went back into My ComputerJoysticks and calibrated again.Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong? Hello im new to this forum - sorry if i have put the topic in the wrong section!Im using flight simulator 2002 and when flying the default 737 with spoilers armed, they rarely deploy - the same also happens on the PSS A320 package.Any suggestions as to why - and solutions?Regarding the PSS A320 package, the rudder has never been in operation since i have purchased the product, however works fine on the A330/340 variants (from PSS)? I have checked auto - rudder and that is off...I also experience problems flying the A320 and A321 on approach - it flies as if the aircraft is out of balance, i.e. high angles of attack for 700fpm descent on final approach phase. Hi all,sometimes at certain airports, as soon as the plane touch down, i find myself under the ground and so FS crashes :-( what should i check when this happens.I use FSGlobal2005 mesh and it seems good but....Thanks in advanceLuigi ;-)

I have noticed when taking off with a 747 in FS2004, even the longest runway seems almost to short. Taking off today from Denver International, it seemed I had to use every foot of a 12,000 ft runway to get off the ground. I did not to seem to have this problem with FS2002. Anyone have any pointers? Also does anyone know why you have to run disc 4 when you are flying in FS2004? Thanks.Andy

I had all but given up flying FS2002. My FS2004 performance is as good if I don't exceed what I had cfg'd for FS2002, and the graphics are far nicer.But sometimes, for clear sky flying away from the major cities, especially in mountain terrain in the late afternoon/twilight hours, I find FS2002 still gives enjoyable flying. I had a good six hour session flying around the southwest and also a 2 hour flight from Moscow to Budapest over the weekend.There's something that FS2002 does which I think is still better than FS2004--the way it applies haze, even at the ultra high (100 mile+) visibilities. Trying to find out about some good Aircraft Carriers. I see there is a payware add-on from Abacus I am not to interested in the Aircraft but I am interested in how the Carriers are. Is it worth getting for that alone? Is there a better add-on freeware or payware available. Any info would be appreciated.ThanksAndrew

This is the sequence:Select an airport in FS9 main screen.Press OKFS9 will start loading the scenery but the progress bar will stop at 9% or 10% at the loading terrain stage. Taskbar Manager shows FS9 using a certain amount of memory but the processor activity is ZERO. Only way to get out of this is to kill the program.Sometimes after rebooting the PC and restarting FS9 loading the airportwill work OK. Also if I load the default airport KSEA and then go to the desired airport from within FS9 it will load OK. Can someone who has installed the update for FS9 confirm the presence of a more realistic "Ambassador Bridge" between Windsor and Detroit as opposed to the default generic autogen variety that is there prior to the update?

Hi AllI could use some advice trying to get my flights a bit smoother. Thought I had a fairly decent system but am noticing that my flights are really jerky even though my fps averages around 15-18 fps. I do have everything turned up to max and everything used to run smooth until I upgraded to the ati card and sp2. I'm sure this subject has been milked but if anyone could give me some advice on tweaking I'd appreciate it. Also based on my specs, any advice on upgrading my video card?Thanks :-)

I really love a new freeware item recently published by Avsim, but I'm experiencing some problems I would like to resolve if possible. You see, I noticed the item a couple of days back on the front page and immediately began noticing framerate issues on my setup.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/99924.gifWhile I really like the new holiday logo, I can't help but notice the stuttering on my system. I have been a Microsoft Flight Simmer since the 5.1 release. I don't know a whole lot about MS flight sims prior to 5.1, but I assummed it was the last of a series beginning at some earlier time. As most of you remember, FS98 was a vastly improved version of FS95. That's when they implimented many of the video cards 3D features and you could actually get a sizable frame-rate increase and better IQ from changing out your video card to a more advanced version. Prior to that time, changing video cards did very little to improve performance. As I see it, FS2004 is a third generation improvement of FS2000. I liken FS2000 a lot to FS95. Just applied the newest A320PIC patch for FS9.1, and since then the number pad hot keys for movement within the cabin do not work! I use ActiveCamera and have tried all sorts of disabling and even config file manipulation to correct, all to no avail. Anyone else with this experience? Any solutions? ....... the mouse functions are normal and work, I just need those numpad hotkeys to reposition my control key functions!!Randy Jura, KPDX
